Footage taken on September 3rd, 2022 at approximately 12:15 pm EDT. This video is satire! Do not take this seriously. I made this video as a joke I believe this animal to be a ju...

Mine didn't come with a manual😢
I’m having LE code
I know that is blower is not required for decks 42" and smaller, but what about a 48" bed? I have the X350 with 48" mower bed. And a GREAT job with your video!
As far I know, the 48" deck requires a blower. John Deere refers to their blowers as "power flows".
@@MillsEngineWorks Thank you! I have the Kawasaki engine, so I thought it would have PLENTY of power to lift dry mulched grass or dry leaves in Fall.
I don’t think it is. It just looks like a fox or a faun… and also chupacabras HATE sunlight.
The whole herd started mooing 😂
That’s cool never knew the grounded through the flywheel like that. Good trouble shooting there👍
It bogged down because you should be full speed on all cuts, even on small branches.
I was.
Im looking at a vouple different X350,,a 2017, and a 2019 /20. Do you know if their are many differences between them. And being 2024,,how have you liked it so far ?
I think a '17 and a '19 would be the same. A '20 may be the year they updated, but I don't remember. The big difference is the engine size. Pre update is and 18.5 HP where as the updated is 21.5(?) HP. As for my mower: I think it's a good mower. Plenty of power and easy to use.
@@MillsEngineWorks thanks, I'm also considering a Toro time cutter 4260,, with a bagger and a cart for less money.
I have never personally owned a Toro, but I have used and worked on Toro's before. They are good machines.
Thank you
Good job. Did you dump out the old fuel first before starting it? Also check for spark with a tester.
I did not dump the old fuel out. With the way gas prices are, I didn't want to waste it. I put some Seafoam in it. It runs fine. I did have a spark tester. Can be seen at 1:08
@@MillsEngineWorks I like Seafoam, but it is not going to make bad gas good again. I always dump out old gas due to ethanol concerns an debris in tank.
@@gpecci2253 okay
I got one this weekend I got to run after a putting a different spark plug in an draining the fuel tank and getting new fuel it’s a Briggs and Stratton flat head the problem is is it will not run at full power it starts at full power but will die down an when I pull the plug she’s black as coal soot I’m thinking I may have to take the head off an clean it out
Update put a new after market carburetor on it it fixed everything the mower after a little bit of running started to rev up an down
Not helpful you didn’t show us how you put the bracket on the back
Cool video. Will you be attending the Gas Up this year?
Thanks Red! I plan to attend. I'm not sure what the dates are though.
@@MillsEngineWorks June 8-9 and 15-16
Can someone please send me a link where I can purchase the bagger for the X350
I would contact your local John Deere dealer. Buying online has a high potential of getting the incorrect parts.
I just got the 48" x350 a few weeks ago. It's very nice. I see though that there is a lot of hate for the K46 transmission.
IMO, the k46 is a good transmission. I just wish it was serviceable.
@@MillsEngineWorks I think I will probably take the K46 off the mower and drain and refill with fresh Tuff Torq hydrostatic trans oil once I hit 50 hours, then every 200 hours thereafter. Some people also remove the bottom of the case to get to and replace the screen filter inside. I might do that at some point also, but not until the warranty expires.
You don't show how you actually put both units together
You don’t show the installing to any brackets.
The very first part was even wrong trying to assemble it because it said Use Is bolt w with the bb nut!
Whats the link for those tools?

Excelente maquina
Wrap factor 9 mower!
Rotterdam here. Thing is huge!
Great attachment but you need the blade ripping when you hit the wood. Op error not machine.
That's a fox 1000%

🚨🚨🚨 Since the posting of this video, John Deere has updated the X350 and the bagger system for it. As such, this video may longer show the procedure for installing said bagger. 🚨🚨🚨

Well you ain't very helpful neither
Beware, this video might be out dated. John Deere changed the design of the bagger system.
Hard to bend those dethatcher tine tabs in. Really wrenching on it, feels like I'm going to snap a screwdriver in half
Let the other one stretch out to match the other one
What belts did you use? Or do you have the model number? I have the same exact blower, but my cover is missing... Which tells me the model. 😢
No guarantees these are the same belts, but the numbers for my machine are: Double belt set for auger:754-0430 Single belt for drive: 754-0346 Hope this helps.
Cute mooing and adorable cows
Redtiller1975 sent me that frick sawmill Is the only other one I know of in existence other than mine Jerry Albright of Albright saw co (he bought frick after they closed) has seen one but doesn't remember who it was I'm on a quest to restore it and adapt the mill back to the original friction feed mechanism it would have came with
You can pull the bottom pin out, purchase a5/16" thick x 15" flat piece of metal, drill the same size hole as the pin in both ends (extend a hitch) i call it and leave the bagger on and pull whatever behind the bagger
From your example it looks like a JR attachment to the mower for collecting clippings would be better for me since I have at least 3x larger lawn to mow unless what you show here is only a portion of what area you mowed. The larger powered attachment would cost another 4-6 hundred dollars, but the capacity and power assist to blow the leaves and clippings to a much bigger collector would be better for me. Thanks for the info.
Sweeper is much better than the bagger. I have both it’s not even close when you compare the price and the leaf Valuum.
This video is a complete waste of time.
Just pick up my new x350 today from J.D. with side bigger. 0 hours on it. My mower deck is green?.
I believe the 23 or 24 model year tractors switched to a green deck. I'm not sure if the color is the only thing that changed.
Those cows do not seem too happy it’s like their mom and dad don’t want you to touch the cows 😂
Yes, it's s demonstration video but JC man just fell the whole branch in one cut and we'd get the point. 10min video should be 2, 3 tops.
The instructions for installing the new toe guard and retaining clip are on the bottom of Page 1. Looks like you missed it.
great you helped me so much!!
Glad I could help! Hope the mower works well for you.
It would have been nice to NOT Time lapse - The details are where we get questions - we can fast forward if it's boring or we get it - but in time lapse we have no idea if there are any issues, or close-ups to see exactly how its done. I have a x 350 I am installing the bagging unit today so in the standard view I can see how things are oriented. That being said I watched this a few times (and the follow up) and it did help some. Youi are VERY Correct with respect to install manuals They suck! which is surprising given the quality rep John Deere has, that they cheap out on crappy literature and I could find no other detailed videos about the install except yours - you would think John Deere has them on their site - NOPE! Strange!
Thanks for watching!
If you put in a 33 gallon plastic garbage bag inside the cloth bag before you mow, all you have to do is tie off the plastic bag and dump out the plastic bag out of the cloth bag. Then you do not have a mess to deal with the loose grass in your cloth bag.
Great tip! Will have to try that.
Will this chut connect to the s240 hopper
I'm not sure. Since the posting of this video, both models have gone through some minor redesigns.
I know what's wrong with it It's out gas
Just weld it
If only the driver wasn't such an idiot, he would have known that the thingy was broken and what the name of the thingy was. I guess my question would be, exactly what type of diagnostic information were you expecting from a "not-mechanic" driver?
Sir, you are taking this way to seriously.
@@MillsEngineWorks I guess so. I mean, it felt like the driver was being mocked, but not sure why.
This is a very cheaply made attachment, the gearbox is made of plastic as is the housing which tends to crack where it mounts to the pole with one small bolt. You can't expect much life out of highly stressed plastic parts. The replacement parts are available but cost almost as much as a new attachment. I enjoyed using this saw to limb trees after felling, it saves your back because you can cut without bending over also it was attached to my 4 cycle troy-bilt weedeater so I never had to mix gas. I just wish it had lasted longer.
We’re the cows 🐄 saying, “hi,”?
