Wow. Cool game. The only one of these games I've ever seen in an arcade was The Last Bounty Hunter when I was a kid. It took like $1 per credit, in the 90s. There was a big platform you'd have to stand on, and the actual screen was pretty far away, it was crazy. I always thought it was what VR would be like in the future.

Gambit got by far the best unique final stage boss with the doppelgangers. The other ones are so lame it woulda probably been best to just make that all their opponent 🤔

I’d exactly call it the “bittersweet taste in your mouth” ending, because after all, no real hero would be idiotic and weak-minded to vow to save Los Angeles one minute, then the next minute, you go to the strip club and “partay” while your partner goes down and the city is drenched in chaos…

The first part is such a slog, with it taking forever to unlock the spear and the having to use the cloaking where only the purple one isn't headache-inducing. After that it's not bad, but I'm guessing most ppl gave up by then.
