Everyone talks about lily yes she's right but what about Ted im dealing with sort of the same situation in my life and I'm scared because the love of my life is there for me like Tracy and Ted but the man I love and I would love to give everything just to end up with him cannot be with me because he doesn't have any ambition to be a better person but somehow I'm still hung up on him no matter how badly and secretly I wish I want to be with him but that ain't right for the man I'm spending my life with I used to hate Ted and his delusional concept about being with robin but now I totally get him

I recently started binge watching the series on Netflix. I won’t lie, Himym in my opinion sometimes tries too hard with its comedy. But it’s little moments like this, that made me sit through it for as long as I have. I’m also gonna say I haven’t seen the whole show yet, but I know there’s something not right with the way he said what he said to her if he could time travel. It isn’t sitting with me right and I think it has something to do with the end.

The opening solitary chords of "Wild Thing" are classic.

I always found it bizarre that the final season was full of absolutely terrible filler episodes, with that rhyming episode the real low point, when they could have had a whole season with the mother as a main character. Every episode could have been an important event in Ted and Tracey's life and included a lot of the stuff the older narrator Ted mentions. It just felt like such a waste because the parts the mother was in were so good. The episode "How Your Mother Met Me" was one of the very few high points from the last season and felt like the show back at its peak.
