@Paacreek08 Well, whatever. I haven't even heard the whole story. If you say she was on board, she was on board. Xanadu. Nobody takes that film seriously, but me. I couldn't help it, she was so beautiful and talented. Not just in that film, but far beyond that. And, what a voice!

@BRD453 Olivia was completely on board for the production, she attended the premiere and even went on stage and expressed how good it was and how much she loved it.

@BRD453 they did. They stage version of Grease is a terrible show

I think it's a shame to see Olivia's work ridiculed and mocked on Broadway. Think how it must make her feel. They wouldn't do this with Grease I hope.

@perseus1624 I think I agree a little... but I haven't seen anything but the movie. The movie was awesome... but I hear it was horrible according to critics... >.> But as I am 21 and was therefore born AFTER it was made I do not know that for certain. All I know is that ONJ sounded a lot better in that than grease. A nice clear voice and awesome look. Plus it has a Bluth animation in there.

This is why the musical comedy genre is forever doomed. It's neither entertaining, beautiful, nor interesting.

Kerry Butler and Cheyenne Jackson are the bomb. It's such a pity that Xandau closed. They had an amazingly talented cast.

Most people don't like it because they've seen the musical & haven't seen it on stage. They changed it so its puposely cheesy and the whole show is just a big laugh. nothing serious unlike the movie.

HEY kerry Butler did the best job out of any one who has ever played Kyra and she aint a kid she is something like 36 or 37 she just looks so pretty for her age!

These kids are exaggerating too much and they're just ruining the songs. LIVVY sang Xanadu with feeling and uniqueness. I don't understand why people like noisy and messy performances with all the screaming. YUK

That was the point..she was parodying the movie and Olivia Newton John. One of the parts of show was to make fun of how bad the movie was. It is suppossed to be funny.
