No chance could u jump through the glass it the White House
Very true, 🤣
Any Rambo fans out there? Is first blood the best of the franchise?
The best of the 80's🎉🎉🎉
@@John-Paris hell yeah, the first 2 terminator films are masterpieces, the rest of the franchise is not the best
Got to love Indy.
Well the trilogy absolutely, 4th film was ok but dial of destiny was atrocious
constantine
Another Carpenter Classic
@@Geeklectica I've not seen this one
Great film. Would love to see more of from the world of Constantine
WELL - you know how much I love this movie!. Great review!!!!! Solid 8/10 for me though!
This is a fantastic movie. Stong Cast. Great acting. No use of practical effects. Overall it's a howl. Absolutely wolf-tastic. .
Name of movie from 1986 is the fly
Name?
THE FLY
One of my favourite films as a pup( still is actually) welcome to fright Night.. that’s it I’m buying it tomos 😘
I'm a TF Fan familiar with most TF continuities. I can't even describe how much I value the fact that the writers of TF one respected the already existing lore. And it was not reduced to pintless easter eggs, but the lore elements taken from previous TF comics, series, games, books shaped the story of TF One in major ways. TF One is an amalgamation of several lore elements/story arcs from several different continuties, and they took inspiration from a ton of TF comics/cartoons/tv series. XD Like Megatron's D-16 low class miner origin came from the IDW comics, just like the 'class/caste' system. Orion, D-16/Megatron being sworn brothers/best friends working together to topple a false prime (Sentinel, who had the title of the Prime without having the MAtrix), and his opressive, corrupt government was taken from the Aligned continuity, just like Starscream's TF One's backstory (Megatron taking Starscream's men, space station, respurces, position happened in the War for Cybertron games, and before that Starscream actually served the Primes as their bodyguardin the books; he left when he realized that Sentinel was a spinless coward tho). G1 also influenced this film in pretty significant ways, like cogless bots unable to transform during the Quintesson rule, the Quintessons, Orion being a low class manual labourer (he was a dock worker in the G 1 series), Megatron killing Orion before he was rebuilt as Optimus Prime to house the Matrix, Optimus's energy axe at the end fight etc. Sentinel is reminiscent of TFA's interpretation of the character (blue/gold, big chin, narcissistic asshole) and he had a very similar weapon Sentinel used in the Baymovies. :) Orion being a history nerd, spending his time in the Archives is a clever nod to TFP/Aligned continuity, just like the music (TF One, and TFP has the same composer, and he put elements/musical themes from TFP into this movie) And these examples are just a few of the ton of inspiration they took. Also D-16's story of turning into Megatron does not starts with him learning the truth about Sentinel. His story starts with being mutilated even before he 'came online'/was born, and the scene of him turning into Megatron is a culmination of a life lived under opression. I know the film is not in your face about it, but the cogless bots were treated pretty badly, and there were some pretty dark implications (like D believing that getting punched in the face was deserved because they talked back to a supervisor, or enforcers wanting to beat Orion up at the start of the movie, or just the living conditions of the miners; cogless bots are second rate citizens who have no chance at self improvement, aren't even allowed to access libraries/archives and other facilities cogged bots have access to. Not to mention supervisiors can push them around and they cannot defend themselves, for ex when Elita was fired) Some of them weren't even allowed to leave their workplace (see Bee, and sub level 50)
Maybe that's where I have limited knowledge past generation 1 transformers and the animated movie and live action films. You would have picked up on things that I might have missed which is great
Clearly the latter. Plus bad pacing: too slow and boring at first and too quick at the end.
I am a major fan. And i know the lore comics etc. and I believe this was a GREAT movie. Watched it in the theatre… 10/10 for this reboot. I think they were pretty loyal… i liked where they were going with this…. Im curious about how i saw some “beast war” lore during the film wonder where they may go with this…
@@MeSiah1S it was certainly better than the last knight and age of extinction
I liked the first Michael bay films after All did you like how Optimus prime was depicted in those at least the first and maybe the third bay film he wasn’t ruined in those was he ?
Why haven’t you replied what say you? Did you like how he was depicted in those first ones
@carsonpeterson758 apologies for that I think in the first film he was portrayed ok, got his ass handed by Megatron. Revenge of the fallen he was barely in but was badass at the end, same with dark of the moon, ended strongly
The movie was awesome it’s like bad boys with blood and gore
You know they did the soundtrack for the first three transformers films which I think are better than the 4th and 5th do you agree with that and did you like Optimus prime charachter in the third and 1st film or was he ruined.
Are you a fan of many Michael bay movies outside of transformers like the island, pain and gain, 13 hours, the rock, bad boys, con air
@@carsonpeterson758 I don't mind a few of Michael bay's films, bad boys, 13 hours the secret soldiers of Benghazi, the first transformers movie
Have you seen the rock and the island especially the rock which is his best
@@carsonpeterson758 yes I have seen both of those films, the rock is an awesome action film, the Island is an interesting take. Would you like me to review them?
Oh hell yeah sure I definetly would like you to I would give the rock a 10 and an island an 8 if I where you
@@carsonpeterson758 I will put that on my to do list
Every time I See a movie like that I wonder: How could ANY American ever could get killed in a war? With enemiescobviously totally inkompetent? If I was an American Veteran, I would be offended by a movie like that.
It is better it’s a masterpiece
Crimson tide is the best submarine film in history
I give it an 8/10 it’s a sci fi satire masterpiece and in my world James Cameron made as he looks of doing these types of movies and he would make a best out of the sci fi action genre
@@carsonpeterson758 I totally agree with you, starship troopers is a sci fi masterpiece. Did you ever watch the sequels and what are your thoughts.
They weren’t very good just like transformers and robocop only the first was good the rest sucked
@@carsonpeterson758 I completely agree with you there
the transformer robots including the driller and that hawk decepticon where not wasted where they did this one have enough screen time and moments between them and what did you think of Optimus prime’s charachter in it
I hope you scheduled this 😂 🎉
A main problem with the film plot is the priority on capturing the Enigma machine as if they were a secret unknown to the world. Enigma was a commercial encryption system before the war so its existence was known. What was important were the modifications the Germans made specifically the two new rotors not in the commercial system and the code books. But the British captured the new rotors the year before. The British admiralty made the code books a top priority in the capture of any German vessels as the code books were printed in water soluble ink and could be rendered useless by throwing them into water. Also the code books were rotated every month so it was important to get new code books all the time.
It'll be a slaughter!
Its not a documentary, and it gives the Royal Navy credit right at films conclusion, prior to the end credits.
Its stolen valor.
Nice try. Not.
The movie is an action movie, you're not supposed to watch it as a historical documentary. It would have been called U-110.
Its stolen valor.

*Wesley is Blade, Blade is Wesley Snipes. Getting Ali to play Blade will be like getting Daniel Craig to play John Wick 😟*
Wesley Snipes was born to play Blade
Love Blade!
The greatest BS about it is the fact that a handful Tommies get a German Sub working again, which 50 Krauts couldn't. And a destroyer missing a surfaced sub so often? Come on... So, characters you don't care for and a noncoherent plot: 👎
As a kid I ate this movie up, it was so entertaining, I might've seen it around 75-100 times, and I just finished re-watching it with an adult head. Yeah, it's not accurate, it's not realistic, but it's goddamn entertaining and has some cool scenes in it, and the sound design is good. I'm pretty sure it's the nostalgia speaking, but this is definitely one of my comfort films. I will watch this movie while laying in bed with a fever to entertain myself for 2 hours. Even the first few words I learned of German are in this movie, Wentz's line when he speaks to Hirsch for the first time. "Herr Leutnant, ich bin ein einfacher Bauernlümmel. Eine der aber ziemlich gut Deutch schreiben, lesen und schprechen kann. Ich habe deutche Literatur an der Brown studiert, bevor ich den Kampf gegen den Faschismus aufgenommen habe." - Herr Wentz
It's a fictional story set in the war. The producer said that himself. Therefore it cannot be full of historical inaccuracies! It's a great film that has a fast pace and the Chief and the Captain in the he last half of the film are great characters that you do care about. Did you actually watch this film? Have you not heard of artistic licence to make things more exciting like the depth charges being so close to the hull of the sub and not destroying it? You are way too critical!
@@SandySexy Its stolen valor.
@@thevillaaston7811 yes you are right.
@@thevillaaston7811making a historically inaccurate movie is stolen valor? On what grounds, little man? They don’t claim that the film is historical.
@@SavageJarJar The American film makers, in their monstrous, chauvinistic arrogance, were quite happy for people to make the mistake of taking the film a being fact. Apart from film credits, the only wording of the poster for the film read: ‘Heroes are ordinary men who do extraordinary things in extraordinary times’. Hardly statement that the film was fiction. The film makers only agreed to show a list of actual captures of Enigma material from German submarines when, at almost the last moment, the film company researchers suddenly discovered that the actual hero of the first capture of Enigma material from a German submarine (U-110), a Royal Navy officer, was actually then still alive. One of film screenwriters, Screenwriter David Ayer stated that he "did not feel good" about suggesting Americans captured the Enigma code rather than the British, and that "It was a distortion... a mercenary decision to create this parallel history in order to drive the movie for an American audience”. Ayer continued "Both my grandparents were officers in World War Two, and I would be personally offended if somebody distorted their achievements". During the war, there were 15 occasions on which Enigma material was taken from captured German submarines. The Royal Navy was responsible for 13 of those captures, the Royal Canadian was responsible for one of those captures, and eventually, in June 1944, long, long after the reading of Enigma encoded signals had become a routine matter, the United States Navy finally managed to affect such a capture. Yep, U-571 is ‘stolen valor’. Btw, we have met when?
Such a great review, love your friend on your shoulder.....I want one!! Hahaha. I'll like the look of stitch in the live action remake, and so happy they brought the person who played stitch original back. Let's hope it's a good one.
What a great review. I do think the live action version looks like nightmare fuel. ⛽️
Not sure if I'm going to watch the live action remake as I love this movie too much
Made in a better time by better people.
It isn't historically accurate. But it is a good action movie.
"Let's do a Das Boot- but with Americans." That's a great idea! *10 beers in* Okay here is the final script.
