I challenged myself to create a full trance track using only one synth. Every sound you hear was created on the Sequential Prophet Rev2, except for the 909 drums. Some sounds are live from the Rev2, while other sounds are multisamples of the Rev2, sampled on the MPC One.     It's too fast bruv. You need to bring the tempo down a bit. Also needs a few more elements in the track itself. Bit too unidimensional in its current form. Good draft though. Keep it up. Cheers.

    This sounds great. Let me first buy the Minilogue XD and then I will definitely purchase this set. One question though. Is it possible to trigger the sequences by pressing the keyboard keys and transpose the sequences while they are running?

      There was an update from Korg a couple years ago, that added some new features, that are similar to what you are describing. I would watch a video of these newer features, so you know what the instrument can and cannot do.

      I'm currently in the market for a used multitrack recorder, it will let me do more complex songs, using the the equipment I currently own, plus extra effects+eq. I'm looking for one that will do side-chain ducking to make the kicks kick even harder!

      I used Compression + Distortion on the RD-9, and Compression + Reverse Gate on the TD-3, from a Yamaha A4000.

      @@neonblack211 The effect is called "079 RvsGate". You can read details about it by downloading the A4000/A5000 owner's manual.

    So sick! Have a TD-3MO and am looking to buy a drum machine. Really want the TR8S but it seems like the 909 sounds from the RD-9 are a lot better without processing. Obviously the TR8S has a lot more capabilities, but the main reason I wanted it was for solid 909 sounds, as well as the faders. And obviously the RD-9 has a much better price point. Still super torn at the moment, any advice?

      If You want making Acid buy RD-9. I have both TD-3 and TD3 MO. MO not generating the same sounds like TD-3

      I remember that while both the RD-9 and TR8s have limited sequencers, the TR8s sequencer looked more limited, especially when chaining patterns or building a more complex automated arrangement. Both lack "freedom" level sequencers of a Rm1x, RS7000, QY700, MPC, Triton, Motif ES, etc. Those units can run virtually hands-free. The RD-9 requires external effects processing to sound like it does in this video. For the money that a TR8s costs, you can buy a used MPC One, which will have much more capabilities, can work as an external effects processor, or a very basic multi-track recorder.

      I programmed a pattern chain to play the intro pattern once, then the main pattern x number of times, and then set auto scroll on.
