The irony of an endangered shroom being an elixir for long life

There was a very large one growing on a gum tree near mount pleasnt south Australia and i had admired it for years then one year on my way to photograph subs i noticed the tree had been cut down and they only took that one bit of the tree that this agaricon was growing on and i still wonder who took it im guessing for their private collection but the stupidity is that it will probably die in a different climate, ie a private collection. It was as large as the one being shown to Joe

This mushroom is not rare! It grows in many other places than og forest. Old growth forests are rare and the habitat he hunts them in they are pretty rare.

I always find it hard to believe when these mushroom experts or tree experts find an amazingly rare thing but there's just happened to not be on the tree or theirs happened to be already fell over
