Getting motion sickness with your bouncing camera.
Thank you, didn’t no this company even existed!
Good subject matter but EXTREMELY POOR VIDEO QUALITY due to the fact that the camera NEVER STOPS dancing around .By the time that the video was over I was dizzy .
Thanks for posting. I got the Southern. Originally it was 2R but the owner got me a set of 3R trucks. Supposedly he did an Erie version that opened on the end. I would love to have seen what he wouldhave come out with if he had lasted longer.
@@user-tb9nr5id5y Totally agreed!
Very nice indeed. That place with a Z. Lol! I don't do business with them anymore. They did me dirty.
@horrorman9 Ha! Not my favorite place either, that's why I try not to mention. They get enough advertising....Thanks for watching!
Learn something new everyday Now I have to get some Monkey see monkey do Those boxcars are beautiful It looks like it can give Atlas Master Line a run for the money
Beautifully detailed boxcars
LOVE THAT " SANTA FE " BROTHERMAN ! THEY ARE ALL NICE ! Howard M. ~~ 😉🙃😊🧐😎🤠👍👍👍👍
@@janemarkham4133 Thanks for watching! They really are a nice boxcar....
Thanks for sharing , you have a very nice layout.
@radarditti560 Thanks, Radar! Tryin to make more of a layout this winter
You’re not the only one that knows about them. I have about a dozen freight cars from Pecos. Mostly NYC. They look great and are durable and roll nice too
@franciscoppola1129 Thank You! I was beginning to think I was the odd man out! You're right, they are nice rollers!
Love it! That’s a lot of boxcars!
@dagryffynhobby Thanks, Dave!
I have about 4 of hem. Nice cars and not a model there are a lot of. Thx Check outt my AHM box car video......thx
Couldn’t keep that camera still for one minute!
Fantastic overview Matt!! Those are beautiful boxcars!! I love that SF!!
@naxshack Thanks, Brian! Definitely a unique paint scheme on the Santa Fe....
It’s beautiful!
I love your vids but can’t watch too long. Your phone camera work is so jerky and flying all over the place it makes me dizzy! Slow down and stay focused on what you’re pointing out longer than 3 sections! .
great information, thanks for sharing
@@PopPopsTrainRoom Thanks for watching!
Those Pecos River boxcars are sweet! There are several presently listed on Ebay. Expanding a bit on your coverage I do have 1 of the Atlas 50' single door PS1 boxcars and they are nicely detailed with brass catwalks and such. Lionel did offer a 60' double door boxcar with the opening end doors. I have a couple of those in my collection. Thanks for an informative video.
@@allegheny48 Do you like the Lionel end doors? Been seeing those...
@@UncleSalty-nz5uk Yes! They are easy to operate. A unique loading or unloading scene could be created with those end doors open.
@@allegheny48 Ok. Im gonna find one or two....
These must come down to go around the tree NICE!
@@dennisfly1 Agreed!
super nice thanks!
Hi Matt, I like the those boxcars, the Santa Fe one looks close in color to army green color. I think Weaver also made scale double door box cars but I think they went out of business also some time ago. Later on I will check around about getting some of those Peco River Brass as I already spent all of my Christmas money. I never heard of that company before. Thanks for sharing
@@darius7760 No problem, thanks for watching!
Beautiful looking boxcars! Great comparison video, Matt! 💯🚂👍
@TwistedMacGyversTrains Thanks Frank!
Very nice Matt, never heard of that brand. Like the green one, big fan. They look expensive.
@joeystrains.9316 Thanks, Joey! Usually they are cheap. I'll keep an eye out for the green one.
Those are some nice boxcars. The green Santa Fe boxcar is especially cool. You could say I'm a little green with envy.😊The UP boxcar and red Santa Fe boxcar are very nice also. Good presentation we must share similar interests with regards to obscure model railroading trivia because I enjoyed the trip down Nerdvana. I haven't had a channel that long but have already decided to post what I think is interesting because my analytics are inconclusive with my viewers due to lack of comments and likes as compared to viewership. FYI ; The reason some items can be sold under valued. According to venders I've bought from at train shows is that they buy large collections for pennies on the dollar. So they are likely making good profit regardless of their worth. That just provides an opportunity to get some great deals also if we know what we're buying. I've noticed that I have been getting some items that don't exactly match their description lately and haven't had that issue in the past. I can only assume they got somebody new, because I experienced a similar issue with ordering materials for my jobs when we received an order that didn't match our requests. When I called them to get it corrected the first thing I would say. Let me guess. You got somebody new. Employee turnover rate has become the rule vs the norm. It seems companies rather pay for their mistakes now, rather than pay for benefits of an employee who knows his job.
@DRCRailroard Man, you hit the nail on the head with that comment! Thanks for watching! Trainz will be your best bet at finding these if you really want one. Trainz has a wish list feature that can alert you when one shows up. I do like the obscure, and I also like showing people how many more choices we had back in the day. Quality wasn't a concern back then either.
Thanks Matt. Trainz is who I was referring to. I've been collecting for awhile now. Trainz is pretty much my go-to source for engines at least now, other than our local train shows. We have two each year that has a good selection of O items. One I just attended in October and a second one coming up the first week of February.
Very cool video. I've never heard of them but I'm searching now. Thanks for the video. They are nicely detailed.
@@dathanpoole73 They are quite nice. Try one. Thanks for watching!
@UncleSalty-nz5uk I'm looking for one.
My friend Charlie let me run his Santa fe PR 4-6-4 Hudson on the Trains at Northpark exhibit back in '06. Awsome is the correct description of that locomotive. 👍👍 Great video
@@user-ERA-RMHD-TNP Correct! Wish I would've jumped on the one I saw on Trainz, but was tapped.

Awesome Cars! Minimum Curve Radius?
@RABSTRAINS 0-31 without issue, my friend
@ hmmm. They look awesome 👍👍
Never heard of this company Matt. Plan to get more Pecos River stuff?
@huntercoleman460 I've been looking for the Locomotive for 25 years. The one time I found one, was the day after I bought the big SP AC-9. Budget was blown. If you ever see one, please let me know Hunter
@@UncleSalty-nz5uk did anyone acquire Pecos River tooling Matt?
@huntercoleman460 My guess would be Atlas
@@UncleSalty-nz5uk plan to get any 3rd Rail?
@huntercoleman460 No!
Just now watched your Trainmaster video. I have 2 of the K-Line Lackawanna units, one conventional and one TMCC. In my opinion these were the best detailed Trainmasters models until both MTH and Lionel came out with their updated versions. I really disliked how they modeled the drop down bridge step at each end. It looked terrible. K-Line did it correctly and it actually worked! Both of mine were built to run long hood ahead. My research found that they could be ordered either way. Thanks for an interesting comparison video.
@allegheny48 Thanks for watching! I also feel the K-Lines are built a little more robustly. They feel better in the hand compared to the moder Lionel/MTH
Getting to see the AC-9 in action is a Christmas gift in of itself! Awesome video Uncle Salty
@VeekerStudios Thanks! Definitely a unique locomotive we don't see that often!

Kline locomotives had some nice sounding trains. Especially when you take into account when they were built. Nice train run.

Outstanding 👍👍👍

Those SP E8’s and passenger cars look sharp. That is pair of E8’s right? Bill B.

@@classiccorvettesmusclecars5846 I agree. '70 gets too much attention as well....

Great boxcar assortment ! This made me smile.
@@leoberiding Thanks! I'll bet you remember these Pecos River boxcars...
@@UncleSalty-nz5uk I have no experience with that brand, but they look great. Did another manufacturer take these over ?
@leoberiding Not sure who bought the molds. Pecos River Brass was the parent company. They did a very nice brass, Santa Fe hudson that used Dallee electronics. The boxcars came out of the same facility Atlas used, so assuming Atlas got it.
