Not sure if you noticed later but about the nudge trap breaking the chest, you only had 2 chest originally. The ‘ghost’ chest was a fake extra chest spawned by the trap, not a real chest.

I think I managed to get down to floor 100 in 2 days, but unfortunately the challenge ran out at the end of the second day so I was unable to get to the bottom! Amazing work, by the way! Very impressive run!

Been trying to learn the method and gotta say you make it look easier than it looks…getting early fishing chests is tricky…I couldn’t fish up an iron bar to save my life…this forced me to try and get to lvl40 in the mines…the dark lvls are sooo hard for me, my mine luck sucks…its now day14, not getting any rain days - cash behind, only have steel pickaxe..but still challenging myself to see if i can hit the bottom of the mines and make up time…but I’m not redoing any days just taking what the game deals out

with 1.6, you technically never have to grab the Golden Scythe, which means if you never go in there, you never get those hellish floors in the mines.

Huh i did not know reaching floor 120 would increase the HP of enemies. Very fast prismatic, an i thought mine was lucky getting it in summer, once more incredibly lucky, i had rare rain days, it did rain in Summer but i didn't know catfish appeared in secret woods until the 4-5th rain day, had some rather good luck in other things with the travelling merchant tho. Got my greenhouse in fall day 2. How? Day 1 i planted my eggplant and pumpkin, day 2 a fairy appeared. Looking forward to seeing what happens in week 4. Ring swapping, huh, i got a lucky ring, wonder if it would stack with burglar.

I was looking for a guide on 1.6, this works nicely, thanks in general and thanks for the fishing tips, a combo of that plus my previous experience got me fishing lv3 day 1 (my previous year 1 i got to lv2 so it's nice to see improvements) I went with the meadow farm as such I went to Piere for parsnips, my goal being the community center, my days were basically like worse versions, made do. Day 5 I changed up tho, spent it fishing and doing little things (bp upgrade, prepping things for community) day 6 was mine day due to it being lucky, found a combat book, an a fish book, day 7 was rain so that extra time spent fishing in the ocean paid off (those ocean jelly helped me gather a few catfish) I'll be a day behind on tool upgrades, I've never seen the broke trident/neptune so extra time was needed. Onwards to week 2.

Getting the pris share during the festival and not turning it in for the galaxy sword first thing the next day had me triggered lol

the ArgonMatrix 1-day fishing challenge is the gold standard! i've watched it so many times. it's a delightful idea and they really take us on such a journey! The ups, the downs! The dramatic conclusion! I also love Salmence's imperfection run, and waligug has several charming challenges that feel a little off the beaten path. I'll have to check the rest of these out. HI Cap I have not seen you on at all in a long tine So I am catching up on your videos I have not seen. Hope you are ok.

I was inspired and managed to set up this insanity for myself. Fun things. My farm cave is the casino, Linus has a volcano inside his tent and Lewis is finally a man, as his front door goes to Marnie's. My house is inside the community center, and I would have had trouble getting sleep, if the saloon didn't have the island house... Clint's place is somewhat improved, going to the island bumbo frog cave. Good times. Edit: Clint lives in the sewers. 😂

Would love to see a playthrough of this without all the tools and minmaxing and exploits... anyone have any suggestions?
