    Hey love the video bro. Quick question, I was hoping you can answer. I’m assuming you’re using an Olympic barbell in the video, with how you have the rack positioned. What is the distance from one foot to the other? And also what is the gap distance between the legs. Like hour much room so you have to walk and out with the barbell positioned? Thank you

    A massive advantage of this bike for a home gym is how light it is compared to magnetic resistance bikes. You can easily move this around and stash it away when not in use.

      Still gonna have issue with tipping cause it’s a counter weight balance issue. For me personally. I would rather buy the independent bench spotters that titan has then worry about the counter weight balance for bench. For squatting I would just use pads and nail weight safely

    why would this be beter a spinning bike or a peloton bike for longer workouts? anyone that can help clarify this.. thanks

    • @GarageGymTips
      @GarageGymTips Рік тому

      What it truly depends on what purpose you are looking to use this for. I don’t have a whole lot experience with peloton but is a more pricey option then also have to pay the monthly fee for classes. With C2 machines you pay for the quality of material and for me has a closer feel of a bike. The other option that others do use is putting their bike on a bike stand in the winter such as wahoo. The reason why I opt for the C2 over others is the quality, is used in CrossFit gyms, resistance works just like rower and ski erg. It’s truly based on how you want to use the machine and your goals with it.

    only problem with stall mats is they REEK FOREVER. i have one outside, for over a year, still putting off that rubber smell. that's not just smell, it's VOCs. and while some people can handle those, some of us get sick, headaches, etc. diesel and gas burnoff can get me too. it's annoying because there's stuff i don't mind the smell of, but will get wicked sick from. like, my dad and uncle always did mechanics, and i associate the smell of oil, and a shop with good things. BUT can no longer handle some of it without migraine pending. *foam mats suck compared to rubber, but if they are older they will offgass and be good.* got a set from play it again sports, no smell. the newer ones i ordered direct from the company do, but i expect they'll offgass and be done. it's still the best option for people that can't handle the VOCs. if you have $$$ though, get virgin rubber flooring. it just means it's not made from like, recycled tires and stuff. it's less processed, less glue and substances to hold it together. rubber itself (like from the plant) doesn't initially really have a smell.

    • @ChipChurp
      @ChipChurp 11 місяців тому

      That's what those smells are huh I always wondered we got a rug for the baby's playroom and it smells like that volatile organic compounds. Had to let it sit out for a week in the spring and the smell was still there it's been a few months now and it's losing that smell

    Would it be possible to attach the p4 to a patio deck? What's the width of bar needed or recommended bar to buy at home depot to replace the one in this kit? Thank you!

    • @GarageGymTips
      @GarageGymTips Рік тому

      An idea that Inevitable Momentum did was run post into the ground and then attach the post inside of the last board of the deck. From there attach the pull up bar to that like you would the studs(From their ultimate CrossFit home gym video) From rogue, the brackets can only be spaced 3-4 feet apart, but I honestly like the bar that comes from rogue it would be the more cheaper options you could replace.

    What is the height of your ceiling if you don’t mind me asking? I know that you have that extra space above, but trying to judge whether an 8 ft ceiling plus a P4 mounted to the wall would give me enough room to do BMUs (I’m 5’8’’).

    • @GarageGymTips

    I have to say I'm really glad you took the time to put together this review. I'm really torn between what type of pull-up bar I want. The only place I have in my entire house is the entrance from the garage. The door frame looks like it would support any of these 48-in bars, but I don't have a ton of overhead space. I can't decide between a pull-up bar that extends out far like this one or one of those multi-grip bars. I'm leaning towards something like this that I can swing on and potentially hang upside down from that is nice and sturdy. However, I do want to do a lot of pull-ups and having different grips would be nice. It is a tough choice and I only want to make it one time.

    • @GarageGymTips

      I have had zero complaints with the P4 version I have. I would just make sure you have studs to support the bar in the locations you are thinking. There are always multi grip attachments you can buy as well
