5 Budget Storage Options For Garage Gyms
Hey love the video bro. Quick question, I was hoping you can answer. I’m assuming you’re using an Olympic barbell in the video, with how you have the rack positioned. What is the distance from one foot to the other? And also what is the gap distance between the legs. Like hour much room so you have to walk and out with the barbell positioned? Thank you
Imagine being a grown man and living somewhere that you are fearful of making changes to your home that you bought, because of the dreaded HOA….👆 aaand you pay extra for that 💀🤣
A massive advantage of this bike for a home gym is how light it is compared to magnetic resistance bikes. You can easily move this around and stash it away when not in use.
Hey! What's the name of that app? Is it for android?
you can also move the seat back and forward, and change the angle up/down
What size is the bolt used to hold the screw in place so the bar doesn’t move?
Sorry. Nut. What size is the nut?
Hope the plastic doesnt break 😬
Are these foldable racks ok for attaching rubber bands to them and pushing forward away standing up, aka punching
Yes, they are very sturdy.
Great gym! If you had one piece of cardio: echo bike or concept 2 bike erg which would you go for if you wanted to do some LISS and HIIT?
Can you do standing shoulder press ?
thanks for clearly explaining this. I was so confused looking at different pull up bar options on their website!
Hey out of curiosity how thick is the metal that collapsed? Like 17 gauge? And what were you doing that caused it to fail?
Probably within that range. Only put 225 pounds on bar and started to shift to one side and took weight and still was shifted
thanks for the advice! getting my bike soon and this was very helpful :)
Hi, how much space it needs to be folded on the wall? i.e. what is the distance from fixing to the wall of one upright to the edge of other upright when both uprights are folded to the left? Thanks!
😂😂 Go ahead and break that back
Can you do kipping muscle ups on this?
Too each his own but I workout in my garage year round and it gets cold as 💩 in winter and hot as hell in summer. It is what it is suck it up buttercups
Why suck it up when you could just use your brain a little bit and optimize your space?
I don’t mind getting a forced air heater but I don’t think my circuit breaker can handle it. Any tips for that situation??
2000 pounds per shelf. wow
with the pull up bar attached, does the squat stands become stable enough to add the safety bar attachments ?
Still gonna have issue with tipping cause it’s a counter weight balance issue. For me personally. I would rather buy the independent bench spotters that titan has then worry about the counter weight balance for bench. For squatting I would just use pads and nail weight safely
why would this be beter a spinning bike or a peloton bike for longer workouts? anyone that can help clarify this.. thanks
What it truly depends on what purpose you are looking to use this for. I don’t have a whole lot experience with peloton but is a more pricey option then also have to pay the monthly fee for classes. With C2 machines you pay for the quality of material and for me has a closer feel of a bike. The other option that others do use is putting their bike on a bike stand in the winter such as wahoo. The reason why I opt for the C2 over others is the quality, is used in CrossFit gyms, resistance works just like rower and ski erg. It’s truly based on how you want to use the machine and your goals with it.
European here. We don't live in wooden houses. Our ceilings and external walls are made of reinforced concrete. ;)
Yep they are . They are also 1/3 the size of the average American home!
Thanks man!
Excellent video. Thank you for making it. I'd been looking at these racks for a while now, comparing them to the 'cheap ones' on Amazon. I appreciate the comparison and the recommendations on how to counteract the negatives.
Your gym isnt packed. You should see mine
It’s definitely more packed now… keep finding stuff
What size is your lumber?
Went with 2x10
Hi, do you think it’s safe to mount on a bedroom wall? Will be doing weighted pull ups I’m 150 lbs
most heat is lost through your head, so a good beanie/skully/insulated hat will work wonders.
only problem with stall mats is they REEK FOREVER. i have one outside, for over a year, still putting off that rubber smell. that's not just smell, it's VOCs. and while some people can handle those, some of us get sick, headaches, etc. diesel and gas burnoff can get me too. it's annoying because there's stuff i don't mind the smell of, but will get wicked sick from. like, my dad and uncle always did mechanics, and i associate the smell of oil, and a shop with good things. BUT can no longer handle some of it without migraine pending. *foam mats suck compared to rubber, but if they are older they will offgass and be good.* got a set from play it again sports, no smell. the newer ones i ordered direct from the company do, but i expect they'll offgass and be done. it's still the best option for people that can't handle the VOCs. if you have $$$ though, get virgin rubber flooring. it just means it's not made from like, recycled tires and stuff. it's less processed, less glue and substances to hold it together. rubber itself (like from the plant) doesn't initially really have a smell.
That's what those smells are huh I always wondered we got a rug for the baby's playroom and it smells like that volatile organic compounds. Had to let it sit out for a week in the spring and the smell was still there it's been a few months now and it's losing that smell
The stall mat smell goes away fast. Sick it up
Very helpful video!! I have the concrete ledge saved me 145 bucks! thank you!

informative video keep it up we are also a gym fitness brand would you like to review our quality products?
great Video.. Please how do I fix a stripped crank arm and peddles . I cant us my Assault bike and the fats are coming back on me. Not happy
what i would recommend doing is checking out your local bike shop as they should have the ability to fix that/tell you what to do. would just all ahead to see if they work on assault air bikes (stationary bikes)
great vid. Learned a lot.
Glad it helped!
Sweet
Would it be possible to attach the p4 to a patio deck? What's the width of bar needed or recommended bar to buy at home depot to replace the one in this kit? Thank you!
An idea that Inevitable Momentum did was run post into the ground and then attach the post inside of the last board of the deck. From there attach the pull up bar to that like you would the studs(From their ultimate CrossFit home gym video) From rogue, the brackets can only be spaced 3-4 feet apart, but I honestly like the bar that comes from rogue it would be the more cheaper options you could replace.
What is the height of your ceiling if you don’t mind me asking? I know that you have that extra space above, but trying to judge whether an 8 ft ceiling plus a P4 mounted to the wall would give me enough room to do BMUs (I’m 5’8’’).
My ceiling is around 9’3 I would say that 8’ ceilings would be too short of a ceiling for bmu.
Thanks man. The cheaper ones look flimsy
very true, anything concept 2 is built is worth the money.
Your speech is so lethargic I had to increase to 1.5x otherwise your gym is alright.
all good, one of the first videos i made.
Thank you for making this video. It was very helpful, especially the tip about using LSL studs for reinforcement.
maybe slightly overbuilt but that is kind of how i do things.
Hi. I’ve just bought the 41” rack. How much does it stick out when you fold both arms inwards? Thanks, Ted.
35” without jcups, 38” with jcups
@@GarageGymTips 35” out from the wall when folded away?
@@eddwilkins8804 when you fold both uprights inward that is the 35” from wall. Because of the 41” they won’t come close to wall. If both uprights are folded outwards, the rack is 5-9/16” from wall at farthest point
Thank you for this video
👊 💪
I have to say I'm really glad you took the time to put together this review. I'm really torn between what type of pull-up bar I want. The only place I have in my entire house is the entrance from the garage. The door frame looks like it would support any of these 48-in bars, but I don't have a ton of overhead space. I can't decide between a pull-up bar that extends out far like this one or one of those multi-grip bars. I'm leaning towards something like this that I can swing on and potentially hang upside down from that is nice and sturdy. However, I do want to do a lot of pull-ups and having different grips would be nice. It is a tough choice and I only want to make it one time.
I have had zero complaints with the P4 version I have. I would just make sure you have studs to support the bar in the locations you are thinking. There are always multi grip attachments you can buy as well
Q...tell me what is the weight of this pull up bar ?????? I made it from the fabrication shop and its weight was 11 kg.
The larger depth is about 16.8 kg (P4) The short depth is about 14.1 kg (P3)
Creepy
Dungeon Feels At Start
Where do I buy this
Here is the link to it on amazon amzn.to/3W5khoQ
Ascent is what I use now as well, I just add in my own Beta-alanine, Creatine, Citrulline, and Tyrosine.
Good way to know you are getting the dosage you want and quality as well. I used so much crap, they truly are the best option for clean caffeine
Great tips!
Appreciate it 🔥
I could see using the longer 30 inch one for hanging a double end bag or small punching bag ( 30 or 40lb bag) for boxing training. I want to get a pull up bar to keep my pull up game in check but I also would love to be able to hang a bag on it too, that 30inches from the wall seems like a nice touch. what do you think?
I would agree, it would be like having a set of gymnastics rings on the pull up bar.
Man I don’t have a 240v switch in my garage I’ve done some electrical work but that’s too much for me to put one in. Lol
I ended up hiring it out but I will say it is worth it. Preferred to have it done quick and right
@@GarageGymTips hell yea bro I looked it up says they’ll charge around $300 not too bad.
@@GarageGymTips They’d have to run a new line going into my garage cause if I turned the one white neutral wire to a hot wire all the 120 volts would have too much power going to them.
@@MarcoLiftz if gonna use it a lot, it’s worth it. I would have had to do the same if my electrical panel was inside the house. Not the worst thing tho
@@GarageGymTips yes I need it for my garage gym it’s cold here in north west Indiana. Before I was so dedicated I didn’t even care about the cold. But I haven’t worked out in months and I don’t want it to be so cold when I go down to workout
