13 mini ❤
Made in china?
Hey can u give it away to me please 🙏🏼
wow. just 90% capacity? through 570 days? you got lucky.. if u change battery, it will be powerful like new one.
13 mini is portability. My advice is just pair it up with Magsafe Battery pack. I am a heavy user, 6-8 hrs usage. But if I have MBP, extended to probably 10-12 hrs. That’s really heavy usage otherwise Iit’ll make it in normal days thats for sure. But the definition of phone for me is portability of basic phone features added with Apple Music or Spotify and thats it. Not much of social media, no gaming, and just enough of UA-cam. I will keep my mini until the next mini or until it wont work at all. PS. During travel days. Definitely bring the battery pack and shift your phone to Low Battery Mode and try to download offline maps before traveling and you’re off to go. Bring your charger and Charge your phone whenever you have a chance when traveling.
Very helpful thanks and I trust you because I too use Bleu de Chanel. I used to live in UK but moved to France many years ago and don't miss the M25 madness at all... I am currently using a Samsung Galaxy A3 which is a great little phone but now lacks the punch and capacity etc for some apps and normal usage. So am thinking of an iphone 13 mini because I HATE large phones!!! Never was an Apple fan until I bought my Mac and now like their stuff a bit so maybe this little mini will do for my needs.
How quickly does your phone die after a day of heavy use? (Watching UA-cam videos, etc.) Around what time would you start your day and what time would your phone die with no charging in between and with brightness in the middle or higher?
it depends. as i have a physical and electronic (eSIM) SIM on my iPhone, the battery life isn't great. bcoz of this, the phone is searching for 2 phone signals constantly and the battery drains somewhat faster, but not only that. here's what i typically do on my iPhone: - take pictures and videos using the LIGHTROOM or BLACKMAGIC CAMERA apps, respectively. - stream music via TIDAL (320 kbps) to my AirPods (Pro) - scroll through social media - respond to e-mails - use iMessage - calls i start at 09:00 and finish at 17:00 (not everyday). my iPhone would be below 30% with brightness set on auto, but i typically override that anyway. 😁 plus, for a few years now i haven't installed the UA-cam app on my iPhones, as it drains the battery quicker than usual (i've experienced this in the past). but, i do have it installed on my iPad Mini, as that's what i use for consuming media and it has a bigger battery anyway (or i'd use my laptop or my projector for films, tv shows...) overall, i just use my devices and charge them whenever needed. everyones use case and habits vary massively. thanks for your question! 👍🏼
on black models I think the camera gets scratches a lot than 13 mini starlight..
how did you maintain the 90% battery capacity?
i wouldn't say "maintain", rather "how did i lose that much battery capacity in only 17 months?" 😂 actually, it was due to wireless charging and using my phone more often. most importantly, i let it reach below 20% and then charge it back up to 100% as of late. also, i've been recording more videos, so the phone gets warmer, plus going into the summer, it'll be worse.😭 it's small battery could only do so much and the battery health and durability varies from person to person. hope battery technology gets better soon.
@@garishanth I hope so too!
iPhone 13 mini is best in 2024?
no
Yea
yepp i’ve been using it for two years now and it’s still working like new!! definitely buy it!😊
Not ”best” but still really nice small phone
of course
I’ve been using the 13 mini for 10 months and I’ll be upgrading to the 13 Pro bc while it has been fun rocking the mini, I decided to switch to it due to losing my 13. I miss having a bigger screen for watching videos and playing games, and sometimes even when typing. I feel restricted whenever I wanna get some video editing done or anything that requires precise adjustments. I will miss it definitely but I also can’t wait to move back to a bigger screen. I missed the better sounding speakers too. The mini is quite hard to hear and lacks a lot of low end compared to the bigger models.
I won't be upgrading anytime soon. I hope Apple will give us another mini sometime, but until then I will stick to the 13 mini!
Can uu sell me
Link for the bracelet please and price as well. Also what watch are you using?
the “Space Black” and “Silver” link bracelets are available on Apple’s website for £399 and £299, respectively. i got both of mine (used, in great condition and one with it’s original packaging) on eBay. i currently use the Casio F-91W.
I like the transparent green case, can you provide me with the name of this case or a link to buy it?
it's by a company called Peel (buypeel.com). been using their "Super Thin" cases, on and off, since 2018.
Just upgraded from the XS to a Product Red 13 Mini. I knew I was swapping my XS this year, as it’s about to lose the latest iOS, but its battery health (or lack of it) hastened the upgrade. Using a bumper and MagSafe grip - not a fan of full cases - and have already got myself quite a few MagSafe accessories. These include a portable charging stand that I can use on the go, and to trigger Standby Mode when I’m home. Thanks for the content!
Nice! Enjoy! I hope Apple bring back the iPhone Mini series in the future. 🙏🏽 Thanks for watching! I appreciate that. 👍🏽
hello
i'm at 91% in 6 months. How is 99% possible after 1 year
What?! 🫢 Here are things I've done, in order to to slow the decline of battery health %: - I rarely/never let my iPhone get down to below 20% charge - I don't game on my iPhone - I keep "Optimised Battery Charging" turned on - I turned off "Background App Refresh" - I turn off Wi-Fi when away from home and only use cellular data in 4G mode, never 5G - I turned on "Auto Brightness" - I wirelessly charge my iPhone, even though it creates the most heat, compared to wired charging Keep in mind, your use case, you have for your device may vary and there are a lot of variables to think about. Also, I'm not too fussed about checking the battery health on my devices, as I used to be. If I feel like my devices aren't holding a charge I would get the battery replaced (or get a new device, depending on how long I've had the device and if it still receives software updates, etc). I recently replaced the battery on my MacBook Air (2017), which was at 30% overall battery health after about 4 years, 🤯, which wouldn't hold a charge anymore (I bought it in 2019 directly from Apple Certified Refurbished) and now, it performs well, like it used to, when it was new. I can finally use it without it being plugged in to the power source for the past 1.5 years, when it decided to no longer hold a charge.
@@garishanth yeah I use all the tips for battery healt found on youtube since I saw the % go down to 95 (except for wireless charging). Black wallpapers also. Now I get to the end of the day easily (with 30/40%) but the capacity continues to drop
Mine is at 90% after nearly 2 years.
can I get the wallpaper link?
garishanth.gumroad.com/l/bhpyg
Very nice, nuanced approach to presenting your experience with it. I am thinking about getting one soon, as I got my 'latest' iPhone right before the minis were released and it would have been silly to switch back then.
Definitely get one wroth it just got mines in few days ago loving small nice fit in. Your hands as well powerful fast response
WOW GREAT TECH
No case please.
Battery health and 100-0% time ?
7 hours if good setup (turn off iCloud syncs; turn of all software background refreshs)
phone getting hot is a minor issue ?
Retro look❤❤❤
Where did you buy ??
I bought it from Casio's online store.
Great video, keep it up😊
Wow looks so simple and amazing at the same time ! btw what year is that macbook air ? I need a new pc quickly and I was worrying about getting 2017 or 2015 macbooks (air or pro ) because of outdated os .
Thanks! It’s a 2017 MacBook Air. I strongly recommend you do NOT get the 2015 or 2017 Intel variant of the MacBook Air nowadays. I highly recommend you DO go with either the MacBook Air with either the M1 or M2 processor, based on your needs. I’m looking to make the switch to a Apple Silicon product soon.
how long does it take to fully charge the iPhone?
It depends. If you're charging it to 100% from, say 20%, it takes anywhere between 30 to 40 minutes.
Hey man, nice review. Are these comfortable on the ears?
Thanks! Yes and no. Yes, they are comfortable, if listening for shorter periods. No, they aren't comfortable, if listening for longer periods. Also, as these are on-ear, they aren't as good-sounding as opposed to over-ears, in my opinion.
Hi, all depends on your head and ears form, three years ago I bought Marshall major 3 BT and I can't listen to music more than one hour in them, they painfully pushing on my ears. But these headphones are perfect, using them about four hours without discomfort.
I was expecting an aesthetic footage. Now this is just a screen grab. Do you plan on doing the same further?
Nice video
The thin case is pointless. The camera will get scratches.
True. It has a raised bump around the lens area. Nonetheless, I agree, it's not a lot of protection and I don't like thicker cases. 😅
@@garishanth I use a thin one with camera ring covered on my 12. The back has small holes for heat dissipation. It works. Costed 500 Indian rupees but worth it. Been using it since last year January when I bought the device.
@@Anothersigmamalewhat’s the name of your cover wouldn’t mind having a look for my 13
Can I get one of those please 😪🙏
Which Colour is this?
Golden Brown
nice vid dawg, my dad will hopefully buy me one soon, i hope so
Did he? 😃
Wait.. the iPad is from 2021? I thought it was a late 2022 iPad.
Yes, it's the Mini model, 6th-gen, released in September 2021. I think you confused this with the recently updated 10th-gen 10.9-inch iPad. 😅
@@garishanth Yeah, sorry. I was confused because of the boxed edges.
Nice unboxing!
is that new the IPhone Pro?
Nah, it's my iPhone 11. 😅
I watched this video on my iPhone 11 😊
The display is below average. That’s the only downside of this phone
my iphone 11 has 86% battery health after using it for 1 1/2 year lol
ur not really a heavy user r u?
Should I go from s9+ to iphone 11?( I've been using this for 4 yrs and having a bit of battery drain problem)
Yes switch!!!
Wait till September and get the iPhone 14. If you really can’t afford that get the iPhone 12 (will be the same price as iPhone 11 now) or maybe the 13
I'd say yes, but like others have replied, it's best to wait until next month, so the previous iPhone models decrease in price a little. If not, you could buy the iPhone 11, it's been fine for me, but if you want some future proofing, go with the iPhone 12 instead.
this is great to know awesome wordless review, no one does this sought of 2 year review on any phone 10/10
❣️
We got a same phone
thank u man, the wallpaper looks good! Especially the rainbow one
Liquid Retina display (IPS) is eye Friendly Display..so I will stay in it until Apple fix PWM from OLEDs.Health matters
Looks like they've almost fixed on the 12. If you observe X and 12 you can notice the difference.
