The less effects george plays on the more exotic and "in a good way strange" his playing gets, from what i hear, when he uses his delay and stuff esounds like the stadium guitar god (because he is), and when he uses minimal distortion and minimal delay, he's just a'hackin on thpse strings with that blues creepiness that we all love....(or most of us anyway)

that first little part he played (Y'all know which part I'm talkin bout) is just completely surreal and it has the air of "Ancient jazz". what in the world am I talkin bout lol....AINT TALKIN BOUT L0VE!

Who would have seen this far ahead, have a picture of M at my house when he was a teen, & I had a Randall 1x12, man so long ago, then Darrell took off, a lot of us were playing Randall Amps, so glad to see Marzi doing so well.

these diavlos sound badass but I hear horror stories about the fact they're made in china with shitty components. I don't have a pile of money but would this be a good, reliable amp or should I save some more and get something like a boogie mark4 or peavey 6505+

Hi. The Randall EOD88 seems ideal for a powerful metal sound. I wonder however if it works well with a high gain distortion pedal (in front of it, the way the built-in fuzz gives powerful sounds), for those (like me) who want to add to the amp their distortion. Thanks for the answer (because I found no video testing this amp with external distortion).

i haven't watch or heard someone demoing this amp. sure the toneking already review it but i wish randall could reach fluff ryan bruce to demo it. i really want to watch this amp on it's full potential

finally someone who plays the music the EOD was made for, sounds cool when playing huge riffs and not those abysmal generic shred metal shit and Randall please get rid of that nonsense graphics on the faceplate, just make it plain and classy looking like a vintage amp.

I am sure it was set pretty loud. Interesting if Matt finally bought this amp or came just to taste it? The more I listen to EOD88, the more I like it, there is no need to buy 2K+ orange, this randall can cover all doom metal needs. Possibly this EOD does not have such pricey parts, as Orange does, but it still sounds good. I worry a bit about small transformers inside of EOD, even 50w Thrasher have bigger transformers inside,.

just bought it....best amp ever

I just received my thrasher 50 watt head, truely is the greatest amp ever. the only amp I ever played that didn't need a tube screamer tightening the front end. the only 50 watt head I can play at bedroom levels and sounds great. u can get any tone u want from it....I was able to get a tone that sounds in between a powerball and 6505 (which were amps I wanted to own)...clean channel is great as well
