Baghdad

This is my first helo ride. Over the labyrinth of Baghdad, through Sadr City, past the airport and another 45 minutes to my base. Baghdad is a sprawling city of seven million people that's clogged with check points and bombed out buildings. It is the second largest city in the Arab world after Cairo but even more disorganized due to the war.
The ride through Tikrit City

We see the city through bullet proof glass, and learn about it through conversations with government officials in offices protected by armed guards. This is what I see as I leave a meeting

Swiss Yodeling
Переглядів 18 тис.15 років тому
So one day I am driving through what is now my home town of Himmelried. It's a small village with a little bakery, town office, a farm stand, a restaurant, a bus stop and (as if God herself knew I was coming) a brewery. Imagine that, a little brewery about the size of my living room pumping out about 200 gallons a week for local consumption. To date, I have driven to all corners of Switzerland ...
.
Fantastique!!💖
beautiful is all i can say
Does anybody know the name of this song? I’ve become obsessed with yodeling music and the harmonies are just magnificent. Would love to hear more music exactly like this.
Bargwanderig by Ueli Moor Other good performances of the song: Jodlerklub Wiesenberg Trachtengruppe Biglen This video made me appreciate yodeling. I revist it from time to time. It makes me love the Swiss people.
After all the years I've been listening and searching, this is still my favorite of all time. Does anyone know what the name of the group or at least the city they are from? Would love to hear more from them.

"Pockets Full of Nothing" written by Tad Robinson/John Bean
This song is called "Coming Home", written by Tad Robinson. Band is named "Severn Soul & Blues Revue" because Tad Robinson, Alex Schultz and Darrell Nulisch (who played later in this concert) are Severn Records recording artists. The musicians are the label's "houseband" and also play on Lou Pride's CDs. They are Steve Gomes on bass, Robb Stupka on drums, Kevin Anker on piano, Frank Mitchell on sax and David Finnell on trumpet.
Thanks. They headlined Alex Shultz but they didn't give much credit to the others so I did know. The bass and drum players were great.
Looks like Steve Gomes , Bass , Alex Shultz , Guitar
