20240808 Sunflower Growth Over 8'
A brief visual update showing my sunflower garden's summer growth since early June. I'm 6' 1" tall, and I can reach to 8'. Based on this scale, my tallest sunflower is about 9' tall right now. After retirement, I may have to consider sunflower farming. ;)

A little time lapse of organizing my new classroom (I moved from the main building to a mobile). I'm excited to get out of the hustle of the hallways, have two whole walls of windows and natural light, and when the temps are cooler and appropriate, opening the screened windows and enjoying the fresh air! Yes, please feel free to use this as an uncopyrighted public domain educational resource. I only saw the trailer after it had separated from the truck and was grinding to a halt on the barrier, so I have nothing but speculation regarding why it happened (I would guess he forgot to cinch down on the ball and didn't use, or misapplied the back-up chains). I'm grateful that no one was injured or serious property damage occurred.
endlers eat fry :)
Thanks for the heads up. As the shrimp start to produce babies, I'll move the Endlers to my 20 gallon aquarium. For now I'll leave them in there for the bio load (since I transplanted substrate and water from the mature 20 gallon). I'm afraid if I don't give the cycled bacteria their usual diet, I might accidentally crash 'em and have to start over cycling the aquarium.
@@Mr.K.Wright colony should be able to survive a couple endlers haha but yea best separate eventually
