lol yes very annoying.. one thing i usually do (on my dumb cata) if its not a duel is to first try sticking to their sword2 area return making it kinda useless for them, second is to wait for shadowportal (kiting/making them chase makes them waste it) and after that go in for the (attempted) burst/pressure. then again against great s/d players youre toast. But core is more balanced than dd sd imo. i'm still shit at it so i'm waaaay more fun to play against than the average sd core thief :)

if i hadn't put effort in the meme edit id delete this vid cause tbf its kinda dumb. but i get kinda annoyed by experienced players that call me cele without checking the damage log. I always check the log before complaining about condi damage i couldnt cleanse. If its power damage you can dodge it so its upto you to learn the skill animation and try to avoid it. Personally im shit at the game so i take ALOT of hits QQ. Im sure hes a cool dude and maybe its wasnt his night :)

@@Walking-Lootbag I've already accepted things as they are, I just can't stand people complaining about cele when there are way more fundamental problems in the roaming scene, cele enables so many fun and different builds to exist, so nerfing cele without addressing the other things would kill most of the builds leaving the roaming scene very uninteresting, restricted to just a bunch of builds and full of thieves.

@@itssobalanced I mean, nerfs aside, mesmer is one of those classes that actually work very well on power builds bcz it has access to invulns, stealth, high range burst and mobility. Its nowhere near thief but other classes cant afford to be as glassy as mesmer. Still I think its a balanced class. One shot burst from stealth should not be a thing tho.

@@Walking-Lootbag I usually play with scepter, it feels easier than dagger for some reason. Im not an ele main, I usually play power herald or spellbreaker but these classes feel so weak these days..
