Yeah it was a genesis g70 that made pretty much the same power as mine.

I got it on aliexpress and re-cleared it as soon as it came in. Same as my seibon hood. They are both now due for another clear.

Have an exhaust shop cut off the stock muffler and weld in the flowmaster

No the turbo kit for the 2.4 isn't worth it at all. They have a tune though that gives you the pops and bangs just recommend you have a high flow cat or no cat at all. Check www.lap3usa.com or find David Chung on facebook.

are you asking how to remove the starter, or if I had to remove it for the motor mount?

I’m asking you how do you remove the starter and the locations of the bolts. I’ve removed the motor mount like you, and is continuing to my starter. Thanks for your reply.

Do you have to remove the motor mount to get to the starter? I just thought it’s not as hard from the top.

I want to say yes, because I think that the bracket that it bolts to is in the way. But im not 100 percent sure. only time I removed the starter was when I removed the whole motor and trans and I had the whole front end of the car off

Thanks for getting back to me. I really appreciate it. I think I’m going to jack it up higher to take it out from the bottom and reinstall from bottom. It’s just too hard to do it from the top without your back going out.

It's definitely not a stock ss, it says modded & it obviously has an exhaust & I guarantee an intake at minimum & highly likely a tune & probably some other modes. Those ss's were never really that fast & they're fat pigs just like the junky chargers & challengers, but atleast the gm is more reliable than the dodge. These big v8s get spanked by lighter 4cyls with 100+ less hp all the time. It's all about power to weight. Personally I love v8 muscle & pony cars even if they're slower, nothing like big torque & a choppy cammed v8. My 2 favorite cars are a White 71 trans am 455ho & a black & gold 78 trans am 400 with fisher ttops. I know a big turbo optima would smoke an ss or a scat because my old optima on stock turbo with just full bolt-ons & tune would run almost door to door with my old bosses SS & my coworker buddies scat, I bough an 08 lifted bolt-on & tuned lmm duramax & my boss traded his SS in on a brand new lifted cummins & put a tuner & exhaust on it & wanted a rematch truck to truck because he was still salty over the optima running his SS, what made it worse is he had the SS financed & I payed cash for the Optima which was fairly new & a 1 owner at the time, then I bought my crew cab ltz duramax on 35s for cash & kept the Optima, So he traded the SS in upside down on the new Cummins & wanted a rematch, I gave it to him & put atleast 8 lengths on him easy, he was pissed, my duramax makes 650whp & 1100 ft lbs & will do a 1.8 60' on tune 4 out 5, 4 is my sport tune, 5 is my race tune but my trans won't hold tune 5 it'll go into limp mode if I try to run it to hard on 5. All I've got done to the trans is a trans go jr. My buddie got rid of his scat for a duramax & my bosses cummins ended up in the shop 3 or 4 times for tranny & engine trouble he was pretty upset with that brand new truck & it got totaled somehow. Another buddy had a turbo jetta that I smoked & he got rid of it for a 6.0 powerstroke, Duramax beat it to, then the powerstroke started having alot of problems an he fixed alot of it & sold it. Me & my other buddy both still have our duramaxes trouble free..

Go with an actual ecu tune from lap3. It’ll be safer for your engine and you’ll get a better power band

I still have it. I replaced the motor and trans a few months ago, and then the differential in the trans blew up. So I have yo find the time to put the old trans back in which is harder than swapping the motor and trans in together.

so its still the same 3.6L or did u find something that could fit?
