the new z900rs look very similar to that with better performance...because i dont have much extra money, i would go with the modern....but if i win the lotto, i would buy lots of classic bike LOL

Fabulous collection. You are quite right about the H1 and H2; I had a '72 H1 in high school. Ended up stuffing into the back of a '56 Pontiac. Couple friends of mine had '72 H2's and even as dumb as I was in high school, I knew better than to buy one of those. They were absolute widow makers. So was my H1, to your point. Thanks for sharing your collection!

If you had that motor rebuilt they put in a much milder cam in in than it came with from the factory.

WOW an excellent collection from my youth! There were 2 1/2 inaccurate statements though. The Kawa Z1 was not the first double overhead cam bike. That honor goes to the butt ugly 1965 Honda CB450 "Black Bomber" twin. And the Honda CB750 debuted in the US in 1969, not 1972. Also, considering the scorching competition of that period (Kawa 2-stroke triples and the Yamaha RD350), I don't think the CB750 was ever considered a "superbike". While it was fairly quick once it got rolling, it was no speed demon, and wasn't designed to be. It was a bit heavy and had a soft cushy suspension. Its strong suit was that it was a bullet proof silky smooth cruiser sporting the first, and very sexy, inline-4 engine. And compared to all the twins and Kawa triples of the day, the CB750 sounded absolutely amazing. Regards from Thailand!

see the hole on the trunk lid thats where the beer tap should come out of and take the spare tire out the trunk and put ice and pony keg in the tire well and take it too the car show and party... ha ha

You were lucky. I bought an insurance write off in the UK many years ago that had the same issue. Only on this one the regulator caught fire and burned the front end (but amazingly didn't even scorch the paint on the tank. Had only done about 3 miles from a major servicing when it caught fire. Beautiful bike BTW, Still got 2 plus the insurance wreck in my shed!
