Awesome work.

That worked great. I wonder if a tracked loader would work better though? As for weight I am sure you could add weight into the loader somewhere.And maybe add some in a hollow tube on the blower box. Just some ideas.

Lasse you design great models! I have built many of them I want to build the Volvo EC550 but I can fid the slew ring anywhere any suggestions? I am in the US and this seems to be a very hard part to even find online.

Very nice presentation of the power of the hydraulic excavator! A direct comparison between electric power and hydraulic power would be very interesting. What about the battery life and the heat development of the hydraulics, does it need to open the indicated cooler ribs?

It may have a bit to much power for the the scale, but it looks and works like a cat👍

I really need to build some of these for our retirement home. :)

Cant get my hydraulics sealed its leaking sometimes.. :/ Hope some liquid hydraulik seal will fix it. Where did you get the bracket files? or are they self made files?

Hej. Jag håller på med mycket rc. Bl a arbetsfordon. Jag har hydraulkonverterat en rc lastmaskin. Dyrt men kul. Tyvärr verkar det inte så populärt med rc i mina trakter.

i was wondering why with a hydraulic conversion only the boom is done an there is no change to the tracks and rotation table , is this because of a lack of small rotational 4(5) way hydraulic pas true coupling and small hydraulic motors for the tracks ?

A trick to use is instead of inserting spacers and washers during assembly is to not try to inert them by themselves when assembling. Use tiny drops of CA glue to hold them to one of the parts during the assembly. They will slide in with the part.

Wow, awesome idea using steel sheets as reinforcements for large 3D printed parts, really combines the best of both world!
