Can the tendon be torn from a fall from height? I don’t have any pain, it’s just stiffness, should I just massage it?
I was sent 75 miles for an ankle injection. Was told these could be done in office. Doctor refused to do it himself, and is making me be seen by a radiologist under fluoroscope. I am allergic to iodine, and do not want gadolinium unless it's necessary for life threatening reasons. Told the doctor I would just live with it. Since he is less that a year out of med school told him to go back since he's too big of a wuss to do an injection.
thank you for this video. I have PTTD in both feet and experience pain at the medial malleolus in both ankles. In the left it was triggered by a subtle lisfranc injury that was undiagnosed for months, and not really treated. In the right foot, I had an injury to the TMT about a year later, and same thing, has triggered PTTD pain. I've had an MRI on both feet and nothing showed up for PTTD but I constantly have discomfort here. I can single leg hee raise, but I'm so worried this is going to get worse. What can I do? I'm an NHS patient in the midlands.
Good
DR THIS IS Reconstruction OR TENDON GRAFT ??
I pulled my calves tenn years ago taking off 8 inch rain work boots that shrank even tho they said they were a wide size. When I flex my calves they cramp. I thin they got tight after that injury.
I have the metatsal injury. My plantar fasciitis is very bad. I took my shoes off one day to drive home and got stuck in stop and go traffic. The metarsal on my right foot was hurting by the time I got home and never healed.
My ankle is still inflamed 2 years later - no broken bones, ultra sound just shows basic tear of ligaments
this among the best illustrations have seen for this procedure
Thanks
I broke my ankle bone about 4 years ago. The year after I broke it I was getting pain on and off. Now for the past 2 years, I have had pain all the time, but it has now spread up my leg. At the hospital, I was told it was Arthritis due to breaking my ankle. Would these injections help me, I just feel that I am taking painkillers for nothing
Arthritis is common after ankle fractures. Injection is helpful in wary arthritis
Hlo sir , I m dealing with planter fasciitis from last 3 year . I have taken lots of medication, 3 time prp , but there is no improvement, what should I do . I m totally demotivated
For chronic pain following plantar fasciitis such as in your case surgery is reasonable option. I perform Medial Gastrocnemius release. You can try to find a surgeon who can do this for you.
Did a review find that these are no more effective than placebo?
Injections can help in acute severe pain due to inflammation & after that preventative measures are useful
After injection, how many days it may take to give pain relief sir ?
The first two days I wasn’t able to step on my foot but after that there was no pain at all for about a month and it came back
Hi Can anyone please explain how critical this surgery is? After how many days patient can walk easily and what is the success ratio of this surgery? Is this a critical surgery?
Sir muzhe bhi ye problam he 2 no per me Apka celnic kidar he

Dr Manish I am sorry to say that you did not perform NO Touch Technique . You touched the injecting spot after cleaning agent . Otherwise good thanks
Useless waste of time, money and suffering.
Rosemary…is a lovely lady! Interviewing a wonderful surgeon!
Excellently done Thank you!
Sir am Nigerian and I have ankle ligament injury seen 5years ago if possible I need help from you
I'm no doctor, but didn't he just clean the area and then touch it?? I thought you cleaned the area just before injection.
I have face the same pblm but i really scared the injection whta should i do
I want to get this done but the size of the needle made me cringe 😱
yeah I have had a few, don't look , I am a big baby and bite my knuckle and don't feel it,
I’m only 21 and last year I had hip surgery. That was about five months ago and everything was going perfect and all of the sudden last week my ankle on the same side of my surgery got a little swollen and my heel was hurting like a mf. I really don’t wanna get this shot😂. I got a hip shot before I had my surgery but that wasn’t bad at all but I heard this sucksssss
कुछ लोगौने मेडिकल कि मा बहेन एक कर दी है
Pat maholmes
They would have to put me under for that
Hi! Nice video! Plan to perform such surgery within few days. Could you recommend an article on this topic? FHL is cut and transferred, do you suture the distal part of FHL to the common flexor? Thanks in advance
Just went for my second round of injections today, 2 weeks ago I had my 1st shots, and omg what a absolute horrible experience it was, the left foot hurt but went well, the right foot on the other hand went bad, Dr had needle in the joint and was moving out around and hit my nerve, needless to say my foot involuntarily jumped and the needle ended up coming thru the joint and out the bottom of my toe, two weeks of straight hell, idk why I went back again today and almost the same thing but this time I fought and was able to keep my foot from jumping but omg the pain I have right now I almost feel like cutting my toe off myself.
Sir this operation possible in india plz reply 🙏
Good job
first thing ow
What the point of the lignocaine if you gonna immediately inject the steroid thereafter
That needle is effing huge.
Mujy b doctor ne ye injection Kaha hai is Ka koi sides effect to nai ya pain
My dr put 5 of them in all around my ankle. Now its stiff
🦶😱😳
Wow. My doctor doesn't give me anesthetics. I'm jealous.
Stretching and physio have not worked for me. I dont want to have a steroid injection as it wears down the fatpad under your foot and eventually makes your pain worse!!!
it didn't hurt
What about coming from surgery on recovery mode still and ankle swells up really bad will this shit help me through the pain had injury called pilón fracture
Injacation name
I had this exact surgery and a week later I wiggled my toes and my tendon ruptured again. A week later I had to have surgery again with some added stuff.
Can you help me understand? Wiggle your toes was bad, why? I’m scheduled to get this surgery but haven’t been told anything like that
I took this injection four times by now. Trust me, I suffered for two years refusing to take this medication. My doctor didn't advise me to take it. He said it is very painful. That was the worst advice I ever took from a doctor. I was suffering for two years, couldn't exercise, walk, sleep or do simple things. Finally, I took the advice from another doctor when he told me it shouldn't feel painful that much and It all depends on the doctor who is giving the injection. Believe me, I have been praying for this doctor ever since. Definitely a pain of a day is much better than every day pain. Take the injection and pray for me too :)
Very very bad technique
How brave was this lady?! When he pressed down to confirm her pain i almost cried! My PF pain is awful and I'm now considering the injection. I'm really wimpy though...
@@vickirobbins8399if you havent gotten the injection yet id say gp for it. I thouvht having this pain was normal. Waking up and limping everyday for months. It feels like a very hard 5sec pinch in the foot. Post injection pain inwould compare to that of having been on your feet all day. But everyone's pain threshold is different. Always a good idea to chat to the dr about your concerns, perhaps they can offer assistance or advice on ways to minimize the concern. All the best ❤
Hi! How long recovery is it for this procedure? Are there risks for complications? Thanks
