outstanding work 👏
Another outstanding build, simply the best I've ever seen. Well done.
stunning job, one question though, are this brakes sufficient for the power of the engine ?
Probably not...but that's part of the fun..
@@rustknuckles4337 No matter, it's still a wonderful Dax
Truly a masterful build, attention to every detail and the final result is a work of art. Well done.
Thank you very much!
Still loving this build 🤙🏼
Thanks mate
This helped me figure it out. The diagram that comes with the tb parts kit is confusing
Where did you get the seat??
Custom made with a fibreglass base and custom trim.
Great Job, Looks cool
Thanks mate ,appreciate it.
That battery tray solution is awesome. Specially if you have to try to troubleshoot wiring issues
Yeah, thanks mate, it makes it easy to get to the coil and starter solenoid for replacement too.
@@rustknuckles4337 definitely a great idea. Thanks for sharing
I gotta come check this thing out
I mean....you really are RIGHT THERE!
Thanks man,
Yeah man, keep an eye out on the monkey madness Facebook page for the next ride.
Is that hydro dipped?, I’m building one right now on my channel thanks looks badass
Thanks mate, this is not hydr dipped, painted using DNA paints mutant crystals then candy red and orange painted over the top and clear coated....check out my woodgrain build video too
Well done, that bike turned out great, even better with the 88 cc black engine, great video presentation too. I'm going to tell all about your channel.
hey thanks, and stay tuned im about to rebuild it with a 140cc engine with a springer front end and my first attempt at metal flake .
This is a very interesting technique. Looks amazing
Thanks mate, for my first attempt I'm happy with the result.
@@rustknuckles4337 I'd never seen it before. You definitely killed it 🤙🏼
Thanks, I'm working on a new project, lowrider style paintwork, lots of metal flake and candy colour, 👍
@@rustknuckles4337 another trail70?
Yeah trail70, this one's getting a springer front end and a yx140cc
dude I am utterly Impressed with this
Yeah it's a unique process, to think it was created back in the 1940s is pretty awesome, checkout www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=woodgraining.com/&ved=2ahUKEwjYpMDo8ub5AhUv4DgGHcMTCXYQFnoECAYQAQ&usg=AOvVaw0-I-WFk91aOK_Qg78dDAuv

Holy 50 Shades of Blue Balls !!!!
Great build! Where did you find that brake pedal?
Thanks mate, I fabricated my own brake pedal to suit the exhaust
Well done, Sir. Where did you get the red decals?
Thanks mate, I got the decals off g-forcegraphics on ebay.com
Do You have an electric sheet of the all in one
Try the trailbuddy website, they probably have one there.
Nice build! Which carb is that?
Thanks mate, carbs a Chinese pz22 www.ebay.com.au/itm/PZ-22mm-Lever-Choke-Carb-Carby-Carburetor-125cc-PIT-PRO-Quad-Dirt-Bike-ATV-Buggy-/251305204741?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m2548.l6249&mkrid=705-154756-20017-0
@@rustknuckles4337 Thanks! What about that black headlight bezel cover? I’ve looked everywhere and can’t find one similar.
I carefully sandblasted the chrome off the plastic and then painted it satin black
@@rustknuckles4337 I bought this exhaust for mine and the stock rear break pedal hits it when pressed down. The one you installed extends out, do you recall where you purchased it from?
Yeah I had to cut the original brake pedal and weld in some extra tubing to clear the exhaust, another option is to cut the tab that the brake rod attaches to on the brake pedal and rotate it and re weld, this might give you more throw before the pedal hits the exhaust.
One year later, someone is seeing this for the first time. Thanks for the upload man, grew up on a CT70 myself. A thousand bucks buys you a 212cc swap for that thing, just bolts right in 👍🤙
Thanks mate, stay tuned putting a 190cc in a custom ct70 at the moment, I'll upload the video when it's done.
@@rustknuckles4337 I look forward to that!
Good video, I am about to do one on 1977 Z50..how the heck did you do that with those gloves on? I’ve been an aircraft mechanic for 27 years and I couldn’t have done such small intricate things without my fingertip feel lol. Nice job 👍
Thanks mate, the coils come with clear coat on them, as long as you clean it off to get good grounds you shouldn't have any problems, hope it goes well for ya.
I’m having trouble finding these parts for my rebuild any links? Thanks for vid
Try chpmotorsports.com or tboltusa.com and dratv.com one of those places should be able to help you out...hope this helps you out bro.
Mini trail bikes FTW!
Very nice job. You have good mechanical skills, as well as helping so many people.
Thanks mate
How did youdo your fuel set up .? Was it straight from the tank to the carb or did you hide a fuel pump in the frame ?
Hey bro, the main fuel outlet on the tank was welded up and I'm running 1 fuel line from the reserve outlet to the petcock and then to carb.
Is there a way to tell whether the rims are original parts?
Not sure...I did recently purchase some genuine z50 rims which had the oval with the HM logo stamped on them...
Real work of art, beautiful. Be proud of your passion.🎇🔩⚙️🛠
Thanks mate....appreciate the feedback
Your camera angle and clarity ,are spot on. It will help me when I put my first ct70 back together. It’s been a while, but after watching your vid, it clears out some of those 🕸 cobwebs.👍
Thanks mate, hope it helps you out, if you need any help let me know and I'll do a video of what you need...and stay tuned there's lots of builds coming soon...
Very nice...
Thanks mate.
I was actually going to ask about the rear shocks. The new ones fit the build a lot better 🤙🏼
Thanks mate...the new shocks are great.
Amazing dax. Bravo
Thanks mate.
hi,what is the model of your stator?not original isn't it?thx
Hi the stator is a cdi stator that i found on eBay for the ct70k0 model, came with everything you need and was easy to install.
Awesome bike! What speedometer is that?
Thanks mate....I took the lens off and custom painted the fascia to match the bike ...here's a link for the speedo www.motorkit.com/en/jauje-and-mesure/13683-speedometer-dax-lcd-blue.html
@@rustknuckles4337 Thanks for the reply!
