On Septembrr 6, 2001, I was hit by a car while on my bicycle on my way to class at college. I was in a crosswalk when a lady either didn't see me or got impatient. She t-boned me in the rear wheel of my bike. She, however, was very apologetic. She offered me (and my mangled bike) a ride to class. After class, a normally 20-30 minute walk back home took me about an hour or so. I only ended up with a sprained ankle. I felt like I was on the Via Dolorosa. My injury was very pale in comparison of what would happen 5 days later.

Not only did they do that, but what they did was shout in the back of the line. Once 1975 came, the crowds exploded fireworks and balloons came popping out of the stage. When those men and women went into the towers they didn't stop to ask if we were Republicans or Democrats. When the country went to war, the majority of people came from red states… To defend blue states that were hit because we were all Americans. Stop letting people divide us, stop letting people make us forget who we truly are. We are not a country that responds to insults, bullying, and behavior that we would never accept from our own child.
