Se and 5s the same lcd?

Hi,does the iPhone se share the same lcd screen as the 5s?

So my tab 4 glass screen isnt broken no cracks or anything of the sort. The image however is d8storted. Certain parts of the screen the image may be fuzzy and other spots image maybe split. Does this have to do with the digitizer as well or do i have a different issue?

This was bought to replace an old Lenovo tablet which was essentially too sluggish to cope with modern websites. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxz4qYZoyAOb_hq_UbaKI6AsZX0FnoFm-U This tablet is fast, has a very clear display with built in optional eye comfort shield, great sound with Dolby Atmos, split screen option and numerous tweaks that I've not yet explored. I've plugged a wireless receiver into the i/o socket to connect a mouse if I need it and a bluetooth keyboard works fine - unlike the Lenevo which somehow would often garble the input. Battery life seems good. In short I'm very pleased with it

almost all of the hardware between the iphone 5s and iphone SE 2016 is the exact same however, apple went out of their way to swap the male and female connectors on most of the parts just to generate more e waste and sk rew every one over. this includes the battery, the camera, and i believe the lower speaker/microphone/headphonejack assembly. the connectors have the same pins and everything but voila, the iphone SE 2016 battery for example has the same plug on it as the iphone 5S motherboard which accepts the battery... so you can ironically connect a 5S and a SE battery together if you wanted and probably short circuit them lol. I wish someone made an adaptor or something it would be really simple and probably fit in most cases

i just got the iphone 5s screen replaced with my old original se display and i noticed the brightness on the se is much higher, has anyone else noticed this?

Any Ideas why it's not working on my side. I bought the replacement screen/digitizer on an official repair shop . Done it like the video.. but swipe didn't work. The connector is well fixed 🧐

I used to the see how to open the screen connector's buckle, if I had not seen this video I might have tried opening it the wrong way and made thing worse. Didn't solve my issue but the method is solid haha, thanks

The black part that's directly beneath the glass broke :( what is it called? Can I buy one of those? I was able to remove the shattered glass on my tablet but the black thing broke because it was so glued to the shattered glass it was impossible to remove it without breaking the black thing

I did everything as shown and swipe wouldn't work properly. Redid ribbon tape connector and got nothing..no indication of function. It was worse. Reinserted ribbon twice more. Got the indication and bubbles but no full swipe capability or turn off functions. Touchscreen is defective new sometimes or what?

hi! thnak you for this tutorial, it worked just fine with my SE. but, it seems to be a problem with the battery now :( i guess i did something wrong with the assembling and now the battery drops in just minutes lol u think tgis was my fault or maybe the battery just died. (i havent used this phone almost for a year) thank you!

I still have this (came out in 2014). It works well for UA-cam and kindle. However, pokemon go doesn't work well on it or any other games JustU.Faith/GalaxyTab4?蝶 It has a better battery life than any other tablet that I've ever had.

So, I was doing perfect and everything was perfect and then I watched this and applied heat upon installing the new screen and clicking the back in place . LCD CRACKED DOWN TGE MIDDLE

Screen itself it identical from SE to 5S. Only difference is the proximity sensor/front camera assembly. Make sure you transfer over or if you are buying a complete kit that comes with the assembly, you have to insist on screen for SE or if you buy the 5S one, transfer the assembly over from the old one.

Only thing wrong with using 5S screen is....their proximity sensor is not compatible with SE model....so when you are making a phone call and you cover the sensor (with your face), it's suppose to turn the screen dark but 5S sensor will not work and the screen will stay on....if you are able, make sure you are purchasing a screen specifically for SE...or transfer the whole sensor assembly over.

Please please help me.. Today I take my iPhone se on a local service center for change my phone's bettery because it was dead, but everything on my phone was 100℅ ok except bettery. Then my bettery was successfully changed but the man who was servicing my phone he told me that my phone's display is also stop working and then he changed display with a new one, the new one was opening then I told him to recheck my original display it was still dead but I checked my display before I came to that shop and it was 100% ok.. And what do u thik? that my original display is really dead? But it was working before I came to that shop.. please reply

I did a search for a SM-T520. This is not a T520! Totally different. Maybe you could have specified the model! My lcd and dgitizer are glued together.

I replace the the digzier screen power up every thing is working but but the touch screen not responding in suggestions.

worked for me, unfortunately as I pressed it into place the button at the bottom didn't line up and i cracked the screen. Good info though

Nice tut! Did it myself for the first time but you have to be careful. The digitizer on mine was broken into many tiny pieces and more difficult to peel off. I have used a hairdryer and a credit card. Don't use a knife (or other small sharp object) because you can easily damage the coating of the screen (like I did at the corner of the screen to make a beginning to peel off)! In my case not a real problem, just a tiny part however be careful. Peeling off the case (do this first) also needs some attention, I used the same credit card for it however don't push it to far into the case because you can rip off or damage a flat cable when hooked onto it. Clean everything with alcohol, removing dust and residue, before placing the new digitizer. The new digitizer is sticky, very sticky. Be sure there is no dust around and screen is dust free. Because the home button came off when removing the old digitizer, I didn't know the exact location of the home button. Better use some tape on the hole of the homebutton, on front of the digitizer and put the homebutton into place on the backside so it will stick to the tape on the front to keep it into place. Now you can place the very sticky digitizer (with home button at once), I did it from left to right, start on the left and lift it down carefully, watch the flat cable when doing this (it must be below the screen and into the hole in the casing) and verify it's horizontal angle. Be careful, when you make a mistake it is very difficult to peel it off and start all over, do it slowly, very slowly. After this I connect the wire to the connector, be gentle to handle this connector, easy to break, put some tape on the connectors and also on the flatcable itself like the other cables. This is to avoid (when you have to do it again or other reason) it is possible to hook onto this cable when taking it apart again. Just post my experience here hopefully to be useful to anyone else.

if your screen gets dark and staticy does that mean one of the connections came loose? Because the screen isnt cracked and it shows all signs of life besides that i cant see anything, the touch screen still works.
