Actually I never use a colorless blender and a blending stump and charcoal befoer but everytime I use a sand paper it will destroy the paper stuff in a 3 size blending stump I think 🤔
Hi!! Any chance to share the google doc?? I would love to have it! TIA
I'm trying to find a video on how to cut the outside edge of the matboard so it's straight on all sides. How did you cut it without it slipping all around and going crooked?
HI...Where is part 2?

Hey Sarah I am an art teacher trying to start live painting in my area any tips ???
If you are just starting out and are looking to find clients you have several options. I started out with when a former student asked me to paint t her wedding. From there, I got clients through word of mouth and from my website. A wedding company specializing in wedding photography, videos and live painting then contacted me through the local art guild I am a member of, asking me to join their team. I love working with a wedding coordinator, venue or company because they advertise and book clients for you for a small cut of your fee. 1. Research! Look at what other artists are doing. See what works with your artistic strengths. Develop a pricing range for your work, keeping in mind the cost of materials, the difficulty of the work and how long it will the you to complete it. Feel free to see the pricing methods I've developed on my site: ArtBySarahBachemin.com 2. Good communication with your clients is key to making sure your clients know what to expect. Some important questions to ask potential customers: What canvas size and orientation do you prefer? Do you prefer realistic or impressionistic painting styles? What scene would you like to be portrayed (ceremony, first dance, etc). Who specifically do you want painted? Do you need the finished painting shipped? 3. Be prepared. If you are not comfortable showing up with a blank canvas and only having the reception time to paint, consider scouting out the location before the big day to create your background painting beforehand. Make sure you have a clean cloth to lay on the floor of the venue. Bring everything you will need to paint. I bring my travel easel, folding chair, apron, palettes, brushes, paint, battery operated light, paint brushes, paints, water container and painters tape. I hope this helps, and good luck! Let me know if I can be of any more assistance.
@@artwithsarahbachemin9729 is their any way I can video chat with you to pick your brain ? Of course I would be willing to pay for your time and knowledge

If I don't have a blender, can I use white pencil?
Yes, I use white to blend all the time. Though if you use white keep in mind that you will create a tint of whatever color you are blending. For example, if you are blending red, you will end up with a pink. If you do not want to mix white into your colors, you can use a blending stump, a q-tip, or just gradually press harder in small circles with whatever color you are using.

This is super awesome to see! My teacher wanted our class to do this exact thing but didn't tell us how or even show us a demo of some sort so I was really confused and my colors kept coming out weird and brown. Thank you so much for posting this!

Hi Sarah. Are you able to help me? I am an AP Art teacher having trouble.
I can sure try! What seems to be the trouble?
Sarah Bachemin Hi Sarah. I didn’t see this until now. I ended up calling AP myself. This process of submission was tough. My first time. I’m nervous my kids didn’t do well with all that went on recently. What happens if our kids don’t so well?
Beautiful work Sarah. Glazing is really tricky, but it gives such a distinct look- I can see it in your work. Really polished and refined; this feels very immediate. Your subjects and the personality is almost bursting off of the screen. Fantastic 👌 -Best of luck on your art and your channel, and much support from one artist to another. Liked and subbed.
Love your Death Star home!
