@TheMMAfightchannel two equal fighters, a muay thai would win. simple because there is less limitations. you agree? boxing is a sport, while muay thai was made from a self-defence martial art. Correct me if I'm wrong.

This is Fairtex in the US. Pattaya has natural light that comes in from huge skylights. Kinda makes you feel like you are training outside.

@Ironandsilk He is fighting out of Strikeforce, he is the SF Lightweight Champion. I'm surprised that there is an MMA fan that doesn't know this.

Damn I wish they had a fairtex in Long Beach or Los Angeles, I'm only doing BJJ but plan on starting muay thai once I get a purple belt which is a few years away. Anyone know of a good muay thai gym in or around los angeles, socal?

@Gerbilmeister he was on the main card at UFC 64when he beat Dan, 78 when he lost to Edgar, At 99 when he beat Uno, At 104 when he lost to Stevenson. He was given tests in Edgar, Franca, and Stevenson he lost them. I like Spencer he always goes out to fight though but he's been given the opportunities it's just he's not consistent enough to be a top fighter. Maybe it's mental or the fact he fights his heart out but the fact is he's been given those tests and been put on the main card.
