Day trip though the Oregon desert on motorcycles. We saw wildlife, a large herd of mule deer, hawks, pheasants, marmots, antelope. Also noticed a few Syringa's all in bloom. At one point we stopped and looked at Indian petroglyphs

Searching the Owyhee desert for Zeno canyon falls. We goofed around to much looking at the desert geology and spying on Red Band Trout in a crystal clear creek. We dropped into Zeno canyon at the lower end. Hiked a ways up the canyon to see the falls but ran out of time and had to turn around and head homeward. I will see that stupid water fall someday.

❤❤❤😂😂
Wowza!!!!!😮
did he ever get the rock out? i fell asleep.
What soundtrack is this?
Been 8 years I'll bet some one claimed it and dug it all up
...which is why it is never a good idea to reveal the locations of your finds online.
I've watched this video several times over the years. I've never found any that big. Would love to see more.
So on another note, I noticed the cat and think I get it? I called my buddies cat ( stankfoot pusspocket ) 😂😂😂😂😂😂😎 Ohh My
That's great, leaving some for seed 😉 Nice 👍
Gostei muito dó seu canal é sou garimpeiro 👍
I'm always rockhounding in Owyhee and I'm not going to say I hope so fine it, just hope I walk over it lol
Just ran across this, fabulous find such beautiful color. Loved the Video. Do you still go out? Thank you for sharing

How cute!!!! I think he hates you for getting him cold lol
Good Eye...!
Salut, You made very nice films once, and one can hope your spirit is still roaming strong in the wilds.... Seems to me, you have some kind of inherent powers, or perhaps it's just that similar good things happen to pleasant persons; for when you came out of middle earth, one could not help but notice you were not alone; there was a singular cloud spirit watching, and awaiting your safe exit.... it is well to have a friend in high places! Cheers and Blessings!
i climbed her peaks and stroll though her meadows. its been a good life
@@shankopotomuss I know something of that feeling, though the land of my Indiana has a homely appearance by comparison, her underground to the south has some of the most incredible wet caverns.... ....but your Utah, she is beautiful in every season, with her voluptuous curves on the surface and wild underground, and to top it off, the land spits out gems!
Much Respect....
You own are at covering too! Why did it😐? In my country we have many beautiful stones but not of this. I like this sky blue agate that is only at west of North America (Are you in this page yet?)
nice pocket
Đẹp đa
this is part of a tree branch and should have been taken out from that POV. would have been easier.
Any of that for sale??
Would love to find one like that.
Nice finds. Beautiful color
que tipo de piedra es esa piedra azul ?
Wow! Some comments call those gorgeous boulders opal, some jasper, but I live in Canada and your goodies are not familiar to me. What is that type of rock?
The music needs to go.
I would sooo Knapp that stone ( make an arrow head out ok it )
you should get ahold of Jay King in AZ, he has a factory and would take those two mini boulders and whatever else you found that day.
Can't legally sell that stone .
Willing to pay well for the blue opal location. Please contact me if interested.
Where is this exactly. I want to go hounding
That would defeat the purpose of 'hounding'
Message me if you could share this location
Where is this located in the owyhees I've been there several times past the Park and have never found anything like that
I am in awe at how respectful you are to leave behind those awesome rocks! Bravo I salute you for the refreshing trait of not needing to friggin OWN all that you encounter. Blessings to you and yours🙏🏻🦋
I agree I know we have done that in the past and some people have given us a hard time about it, I've even shared locations with people that I know have the same values as I.
@@shannonburke-williams9460 couldn’t agree more. I can’t believe people would give you a hard time for being nice. What a crazy world.
i pick up those rocks on the owyhee all the time just in the road
You have all the finesse of a hand grenade in a ballon factory!
I want to dig. Where is this?
I try to find something everytime I go out but I never have much luck. Just lots of rhyolite...I think. I'm a noob
On a previous video where you were digging a large agate I was going to suggest you get a Estwing Paleopick. I see you have it for this video, a new one at that, hardly used. I never go anywhere without mine. /Lou from Emmett, ID
Where was this video shot at cause I find this in Montana alot
Congratulations 🤟😎
This area of the Owyhees is so beautiful
They should be blue chalcedony with cloud-like crystallisation...good material making rings...
is it blue candy agate?
I've never seen this rock before, how beautiful. I was nervous when you chipped off the ends but the split is stunning!! Do you slab this rock then or do you just chip along the piece and the it cuts naturally? You wouldn't need to polish it either just a good clean. Great video, thank you.
I hike a good distance and could not carry the weight of the stone. also limited hand tools
Looks like calcedony to me
wish you would have showed them after tumbled and cleaned up bummer
