Приєднався 10 січ 2023
Welcome to our 10 acre farm in Florida. We purchased our farm in 2020 before the real estate boom. We've always wanted land with animals and privacy. We were fortunate to find it in our backyard. Stay tuned for many shorts and videos as we learn how it is to live on a farm. My goal is to upload morning videos of the animals getting the day started. It's very therapeutic to watch these animals I hope these videos help you make it through your day!

where did u purchase that roof from
Hello David, When I purchased the HD7 Broward Motorsports Treasure Coast included it. So, not sure where they purchased it from.
Any updates on reliability? Considering the commander 700 crew. Does it have enough power?
@@Luk_3 ya, so far its been great! I had another issue. It was related to a gasket from factory. When they installed the thermostat they pinched the gasket. Since they its been great. Over 32 hours on unit. Power seems good. Does 60 mph fast enough for me
@@ortizfarm thanks! I think I’m gonna pull the trigger on the commander. I was researching Yamaha Vikings when I found your video on them. Desided to look at can am after you traded yours for a defender. Wanted something comfortable to cruise with my wife and 2 kids on the weekends but also work on the farm.

Thank you for the video. I need to do something similar, my question is: how hot it gets inside de cabinet? Cheers, Sergio

Thanks for sharing ... Who did you get your building from? ... Any other problems other than slab size ... looking to get one and can use all the advice I can get ... Up in the Prairie ... Thanks
Hello John, The building was from Carolina carports. I went through Tom S. 321-474-4357. Tell him Santos sent you if you call. I would get the building exact all the way around to avoid any water siting on the slab. On the sides because I went 6 inches wide on each side, I get a little water that comes on the steel. besides that, pretty happy with building.
@@ortizfarm Thanks ... Is your wall framing 4 foot on center ? Your wall look like 10 or 12 ... How high in the center? ..

You have a lot more faith in that emergency brake than I would without chocking the rear tires. I have the RZ and good thing I had it strapped down when I trailered it because the bouncing caused the e brake to disengage.
Ya in the grass and with the front wheels deflated a lil it wasn’t going anywhere
I have a 4025 and online it states it should be 10w40 and synthetic?
Hello and thanks for stopping by. You should use what’s recommended in your manual. With that being said colder climate 10w 40 full syn is perfect. Im in Florida no cold here maybe 2 days. A quick google search 10w 40 vs 15w 40 will give you details.
One thing to recommend is to make sure they are still in balance after you sharpen, this will help with the life of bearings.
Yes, i place a screw in the wall and hang them. Works well. Thanks!
The “hidden gem” is your shock preload adjustment. The notched collar on the shock has been ubiquitous on motorcycles/dirtbikes/ATVs/UTVs since the early 1970s. It’s *not* intended to be a “lift”. It’s intended to offset a heavy payload. I put my rear compression preload at the max setting because I normally have a trailer attached, but when it’s unloaded the ride is stiffer. Same as the shocks, you can also inflate your tires to 30 PSI to get an additional half-inch of lift, but the ride quality will similarly suffer unless you are at max load. 😂
Good to know thanks
I would’ve asked for a refund on the “dealer prep” fee. You probably paid $399 for dealer prep service, which demonstrably wasn’t completed.
It went back 2 weeks later for same issue. Not happy with the dealership
Was this a pretty accurate tell... and do you leave it there while leveling??
It was pretty close. I just graded a lil stopped and placed the level.
4025 and 4035 have the same engine. The injector pump is turned down on the 4025 to reduce the power and eliminate the need for emissions equipment and DEF. I have the 4025 and it runs my 5 foot brush hog just fine.
So, same engine, but 10 hp difference. Personally i love the extra power. Also, theres no def. Just a dpf, which has a button to burn it out when the light comes on.
@@ortizfarm I didn't realize it didn't require DEF. I knew it had a regen button and just thought it required DEF. One thing I like is when the powertrain warranty is over, I can break the seal on the injector pump and turn it up to 30-35 hp.
@@davidk7210 yes, that was also reason I went with it. Kool. You’ll get a bump in power and saved money! How many hours do you have on it? Im at 80.

They're different. My wife is all about chickens right now. Hey makes her happy.
Thanks!
No problem!
My family and I have the exact same one and year and never have had any problems with her! I want to legalize her for the roads here in MI.
Glad to hear yours is good to you. Mine just had a rare issue. Couldn’t make sense of it. Dealership was clueless.
I wished there were more videos on the HD7's. Everyone thinks that they need more horsepower, but they usually don't. You won't get more than two inches of added ground clearance by adjusting your spring rate. It will also give you a very firm ride if you adjust them all the way. Enjoy!
I agree. Most of the time its just to say i have 1000! HD7 is a beast! I love this thing. Thanks for your comment
I don't know how you are breaking it. I've put mine through hell for 5 years and no problem. What are you doing to it?
Sadly, dealership nor Yamaha could figure out how water kept getting into the clutches. And i don’t even go in water we drove it on the road and a long the canal and around our farm.
Yes, I believe so. The high life blades are still performing pretty well since this video. It’s almost time to sharpen again!
thanks for the vid. my guess is lot of turbulence getting made by the top side of the mulching blade.
Could be.
That's a big newborn! 😯 subscribing for baby animal content
She’s actually small, our other baby donkey whos now 8 months was slightly bigger. Check out the other baby vids/shorts! Thanks!
There 100% is no 10 year warranty on the drive belt.
I did one in less than 15km. Yamaha fitted. All that aside. The Yamaha Viking is amazing.
@@southernstarreview service department said 10 years. But, doesn’t matter. They couldn’t tell me how water kept getting into the clutch area. I traded it in for a can-am. I can’t speak to reliability on the can-am but the ride and smoothness of the engine is much better than the viking.
2 months later and went to pick up Viking, the dealership replaced seals for the clutch housing. But, I was really upset they didn't have an answer and had 2 other Vikings with the same issue. I ended up trading it in.
Omg their little bleats 🥺🥰
5 days later and now they’re bouncing around!
Cute
thanks!
Coastal 'saw' salt grass is really tough to cut no matter what you whack at it with. Tall grass....you mow it high...a few days later you mow it again lower.
Yes it is. Thanks ill give it a try
when mine did that it was because the transfer case wasn't fully engaged.
as soon as they dry everything out it seems to work. But, ill ask them that question thanks
Update, my Viking is still in the shop, going on 2 months and no root cause. They just want to replace gaskets. Not feeling very good
After over a month, the dealership said they were unable to find any issues. They reached out to @yamaha and they didn’t have much to say. I should have it back soon! They did recommend changing the seals just incase. Sounds more like they’re shooting from the hip. We’ll see how it goes once I have it back.
I had a kawasaki mule with a similar issue. It was the shifter cable that needed adjustment and tightening the end of the head right on the knob of the trany. It was able to get into gear but the gear did not seat completly therefore the most minimum amount of presure it would slip out of gear. I dont know the mecanical term but I think they call it the timming of the shifter cable. Hope this helps!
Not sure its the same. They dried up the clutch box and said its riding normal again. Hopefully it be ready by Thursday. Once i get it back ill do an update.
The service department said the issue was with water in clutch box. They had 2 other units same issue. Sad part was i dont even have that of fun. We just cruise the canals and use it around our farm. But, this past Saturday I traded it for can-am. So far the can-am has wowed me.
Price and do you ship? Does it contain any eucalyptus?
Hello Ted, the bars are $9 each, no eucalyptus in these. Shipping, let me check on that.
Ted, we have cocoa butter cashmere, and the other bars are lavender. If you are interested, how many bars were you considering?
All I see is hating in the comments when all the dude is doing is trying to help people out in case they looking for a good circular saw.Why can’t people just accept that it’s a good saw and move along? Is it because you’re dedicated to one brand that you think every single tool in that brand is better than every single tool in another brand?Thats not how it works and I can guarantee you that! My advice is to do research on every single tool before you purchase it and stop being a fan boy for one brand if you want the best tool.
@jayp8130 thanks for your comments I’m not worried one bit. The saw has been the best circular battery powered saw I’ve used its a beast!
Awww... so cute!
Thanks!

Any update on the viking issue?
Hello Steve, it’s been over a month and the dealer keeps saying water is getting into the clutch area, but doesn’t understand how I explain to them I had one hour before bringing it back to them. The only thing that occurred was it rained. They told me they sent at least two emails to Yamaha and they have not gotten a response.
@ortizfarm I've also got a viking 6 it's never missed a beat. Rather disappointing with your dealer must be really frustrating for you
@@stevenewzealand1158 yes, i have to continue calling them for an update. I plan to call again today. Hopefully they heard back from Yamaha
@@stevenewzealand1158 does your stay outside? I’ve read a few forums of people having this issue. No resolution. They said something about the vent for the cvt transmission could be the cause but not sure.
@ortizfarm not left outside but goes throught river crossing etc. Sounds like a bit of a cop out from yamaha around water though......after all that's what they were designed for
