How is your truck holding up? I got an XLT Powerboost about 6 months ago. I love it so far, but some of the issues I’ve read about on forums freak me out!

2024 f150 still has same problem. I paid 90k for truck rust all over bottom i had it 2 weeks just noticed it.

Just bought 2024 new f150 bottom is rusted alot

I’m removing mine, who listens to radio.

Has anyone tried Por-15 instead of the rustolium?

HOLY COW I just check under my 2-23- and shore enuff- There it is- Did you consider having the truck undercoated? I was thinking of rino-lining- to do the frame and other things?

I have a 2023 xlt 5.0 with the same thing I also told my dealer before they rust proofed my truck and ask them to fix it and stay the rear def when it got rustproof sad that they didn't do anything for me 😢very unhappy with them .I live in Minnesota I will be doing this my self with the same rustproof that you used from Amazon with a wire brush Thanks you for your video

2023 still the same rust issue. I have a 2023 F150 Tremor and rust all over the bottom.

I see you have the same front cowl problem ( lifting up) by your antenna and fender that I have had problems with. I have had mine replace 3 times by the dealer. Ford Manufacturing defect.

Paint it dummy ,get rust converter first all axles are the same from the factory so don’t cry that your the only one

My personal opinion the bullet antennas are way more visually appealing but to each is own and if your wondering what’s a good brand i link under the comment my personal favorite that I’ve ran on all my Ford trucks and they work amazingly

That rust means NOTHING.If it drips on your shinny garage floor.,just hit it with a rattle can every full moon.

Just coat the frame and suspension with fluid film a few times a year , drive on dirt roads and stay clear from undercarriage wash. Rust no more.

Get on a creeper. Get a few cans of black primer. DIY....Repeat.

No seat covers for me. I paid extra for leather. I'm going to sit on leather. No kids here.

All f150s should come from factory looking the way you made it look. BS from ford saying it’s not a problem when they we know it is. If you don’t care about small details like that then what else don’t you care about. I’m ashamed as an f150 owner.

Looks great! Personally, I'm not a fan of bed covers as I frequently camp and require the functionality of the entire bed. I've also installed a flip-over bed extender.

My 2022 F250 is rusting too I have less then 200 miles looks the same $64700. They need to step up to the plate and fix it

As a New Englander and retired technician I can tell you this looks like the underside of most 2 year old vehicle. It’s just some minor surface rust and it means nothing. However, for those of you obsessed with cosmetics just spray the underside annually with some Fluid Film. I have no idea when pickup trucks started getting treated like Ferraris and rare classic cars, but it needs to stop. It’s a pickup truck- tow things, haul heavy loads of rocks and dirt, load pallets, use it as intended. Next people will stop cutting grass with their riding mower because they’re scared to scratch the deck and get it dirty.

Lol. Never saw your video and those were the first few mods I did as well. Same antenna, and consol organizer. Did weather tech floor mats. Will look into some front seat covers.

I don’t get the seat covers , sure it “protects” the original seat but u never see the original seat so what’s the point unless ur trying to keep the truck fresh for the next guy when u sell

U can go through the car wash with the stock antenna even if it touches the car wash

I just realized my 2021 Lincoln Navigator L black label ,It is $105000 after tax $110000+ , I saw some rust already ! I am surprised just like u !

What kind of trailer did you pull? How much weight?

There are about 1000 videos on UA-cam showing the long term results of rubberized undercoating of any pieces that had any rust. The results are the trapping of the salt under the undercoating and huge damage..... Wish it wasn't so...

Great video. 100% agree with the mods. 1 comment and 1 question. If you live in an area where corrosion can happen. MN NE States etc; put never-seez or some other anti corrosion film on that antenna stud. Ask me how I know. Question. The seat airbag’s still works.? Also will the headrest speakers still perform as intended? Thankx. ❤

My '22 is is a summer build KC model, I don't see any rust so far

I would add: tailgate assist shock and catch can oil separator

That antenna saved me so many time in a low underground garage because if that antenna is just touching the garage ceiling or metal bars up above means your truck will pass through without any problem, if more than the touch, then it will damage your cabin top. I rather keep OEM antenna.

Am I the only one who prefers the regular antenna? Think it looks old school and can tell how much wind you’re driving into by how much it’s bending

What level are you running?

I just bought mine earlier this week and I checked that before I bought. Mine had man. date of 6/22/22 and it appears it has a coating on it. Not sure if it was done at dealership or factory because it appears coated. I will ask the dealer next week when I get the bed liner put in.
