@goblingt Hello from Greece. I absolutely love TH builts. How much did your bike cost overall. Trying to see if i can make this dream come true. Thanks
Got rid of my bobber... cool looks, pants suspension and throttle off idle... shame really waste of a lot of money
Nice
I couldn’t put up with that racket🙁
Details for the doubled seat?
that shit my new dream bike
Nice 😊
make a touring video with a triumph motorbike
On the thornton website it's says the exhausts are not for road use but then offer a hidden cat option has yours got a cat if not how does it get on regarding mot
mate was the exhaust just tips or do you have to have a system I agree standard ones too small Ta
Beautiful bike fella and wonderful colour! Triumph Woburn has that very nice cafe on site as welll
Thank you for this! Very hard to find info like an actual ride, exactly the video I needed to see on their Bobbers. Beaut bike ❤
Another great video Mr Goblin....have discovered your channel via Thornton Hundred. I really enjoyed hearing your general chit chat about the process you went through to get where you are now: riding a Triumph Bobber. This is my dream but I've never ridden a motorcycle. It sounds like you learnt to ride fairly recently too and pretty much did the CBT and then how long before you did the DAS? I don't really want to waste too much time (am 52!) mucking around on small bikes.... but then being completely inexperienced I thought I might do the CBT and then get a small Royal Enfield to chip around on until I can lose the L plates and do the DAS. Early days for me but am jealous (in a good way ) of where you are. I wish I was there !! Anyhow good luck, you sound like a nice articulate guy and you ride well and very sensible..... at 52 I don't feel any need for speed!!... I just want to to cruise at about 50mph and enjoy that freedom of getting out...seems like that's how you ride too. All the best. Btw love the matching helmet!
Thank you Mr Goblin. I have been addicted to the TH channel for a while now so great to hear a customer's feed back. My dream is to get one of these custom bobbers from these lads at TH and get around the roads of North Wales where I live. Problem is I have to do my CBT, DAS and build a shed first !!!!... oh and save up about £35k.... my 3 yr project! pls make more vids about your adventures on your bobber. Thanks!
Great video, I was wondering if you still had your old back box and if you would be interested in selling it?
Love TH but £40k is mental! Id be scared to ride it!
Hey mate I love your videos, but I was wondering why this says last drive? Are you getting rid of it? And after the glowing reviews, why are you getting rid of this? I’m thinking about purchasing a 2023 version of this! Thanks!
Love the bike I’m a huge fan of TH and the passenger seat looks amazing in my opinion. I’ve recently been binge researching how to do a wide wheel kit at a more affordable cost. I was told that the wide wheel kit makes it unstable in ways and changes the way the bike rides and could possibly get a speed wobble in higher speeds.
Hi there, it will definitely change the way the bike feels to ride. However it is not unstable at all and I've sat at the top speed of the bike for considerable amounts of time with zero wobble. The bike is very stable.
nice video! can i one question? your car wheel spacer front and rear size?
How has the Alcantara worn?
I've never ridden a motorcycle, but I will own one of these.
spacer front&rear mm??
22mm per axel. Can be purchased from David Appleby Engineering.
Thank you for your answer. Did you work on the suspension? Or is it a pure suspension?
@@chrischae5093 doesn't affect the suspension.
Thank you. Your reply helped me a lot
Wow. Beautiful bike. Im addicted to TH build videos. Good to get a customer’s perspective. Umm - pass on the supercharger - it’s cool but I would have to agree that would be mental.
im debating between one of these or the RS version. I test drove the RR and loved it but the rear brake squeaked like you said, any reason for that or just a break in thing or the nature of the brake?
Mine squeeks if I'm not applying it hard. I think it's because you don't need to use it unless you're really pushing the envelope.
hey i ended up buying the RR, and I love it, but the rear really does squeek bad lol. I wonder if it just needs to be broken in? I like using rear brake when im doing very slow tight u turns and stuff. @@GoblinGT
@@eeepmeeep brake cleaner maybe to get the oil of it's that
Hi how you thank you so much for beautiful. Car
Sounds wonderful
Nice toys dude! Keep enjoy life. Could you tell me what width the back rim is, 5 or 5.5 inch?
I couldn't tell you I'm afraid. They are made for Thornton Hundred specially rather than being off the shelf.
The rear tyre is 190/55/17 and front is 180/55/17
Ok, thanks a lot.
If you’re still deciding between the Triumph or Ducati, go for the Triumph. My RR’s stupendous whereas all Ducati’s are hateful (the fact that Ducati wouldn’t let me park my Rocket 3 in their factory car park has nothing to do with this point of view - cnuts ;-).
Hubba hubba that is just beautiful time to start saving i think
Can u Tell me the Colorcode pls 🫶🏼
Respect for properly using your car and not having it as a garage queen👍
gloves always OVER the jacket
They don't have gauntlets, won't go over the jacket.
how do you find the seat? is it comfortable if say you ride more than an hour?
I think it's really comfortable, I've done 8 hours on it in a day and the only thing that was uncomfortable was I wanted to stretch my legs out more.
Did you end up buying one?
I did indeed!
@@GoblinGT awesome, Iv got my eye on a red one! Was between that and the V2 but I wasn’t blown away by the v2 which was disappointing. Some really good deals on the triumph at the moment too but I’m yet to sit on one. Are you still loving the bike? This is a great video by the way, would love to see more if you were thinking about doing some. 👍🏽
@@finnkane7774 thank you that's very kind. I had the same experience with the V2, but the one I rode wasn't the Bayliss Edition which have a lot more kit on them. Still obsessed with the bike, I think it will be off to Thornton Hundred for some mods soon.
@@GoblinGT I looked at the base spec also with the V2, the over all feel of the base just didn’t feel as special as I was expecting, also the looks didn’t make me say “wow” Definitely need to visit TH with the RR. I’d personally love to do the headlight relocation and velocity stack front end that they did on the drift bike, purely for cosmetic vanity reasons 😂 as I don’t want a super charged one. Just looks so mean! Enjoy the bike mate and thanks for the reply’s, new sub from me so if you fancy doing another RR video one day I will be watching 🤙🏽
Unmistakable military vibe about the house! Only forces quarters have that outside feel - like grass up to the front wall. Enjoyable video. Good content and great spec on the Aston. Thanks
No comment 😂
If you up your quality with a good cam, some basic cinemtaic shots and good audio. You will have a well big channel in no time! nice content man!
Thanks man, invested in the Sony A7iv and Sigma lenses, more videos coming soon
only brand that never sold out. and not one ugly car in its lineup. which cant be said about the competition.
Nice video - been following Thornton Hundred for a while, interesting to get a view from one of a their customers. Had my Bobber since 2018 - been tweaking over the years - nice to get some inspiration though (might get their quadlock adapter). Nice to see Triumph Woburn - bought my first bike from them back in 2012.
hello, where to buy the saddle and come to France. thank you
From Thornton Hundred Motorcycles
Lovely bike... What size and brand are the tyres if you dont mind me asking ? Thanks.
Had the pleasure of driving one on a track day last week and it was awesome every time I think about it I have great big grin on my face
That's a fantastic Bobber! I don't need (can't afford) a second bike, but if I did, it would likely be a Thornton Hundred Bobber. Just such a cool look they have. And, they opened a US branch... I just have to resist ever looking into it and I won't ever be tempted!
Haha. “Buy whatever color is cheapest and paint it.” That’s a good one.
Apart from the V12 this is the best new Vantage, F1.
If the self cancelling indicators are the same as my Triumph, check settings - there are basic & advanced options. Select Advanced - “Auto Advanced - The self- cancelling function is on. A short press activates the direction indicators for three flashes. A longer press activates the direction indicators for eight seconds and an additional 65 metres.”
There is no better bike than a Thornton hundred. Love it 👍
Building it yourself is SO much better!!
as a german I always ask myslef why its worth owning a supercar when you cant drive superfast
Track days! 👌
Love the bike mate. It would be awesome to do something with those guys, but being in Australia makes it costly. Keep the videos coming!!
would be interested to hear the ownership from a costing/finance perspective ! thx
How does it turns with this wide tires?
