Bro, thanks for sharing! What do you think of the replayability of the game? Probably too early to predict as the game has only be released for 1 month so far, but I hope the game would get wider reception in the western gamer community just like Elden Ring did.

I was surprised by the amount of effort and passion put into this game, as a Chinese person, I am used to seeing Chinese imitations and inferior products. It seems that there are still people who are willing to spend time creating good products. We have enough cultural heritage and technology to create good games. I hope to see more people enjoying games with Chinese themes in the future. However, the story and content of this game are very subtle and deep, and require thought and research into the references to fully understand. I think the Game Science should provide more auxiliary information to help people from other countries understand the story.

If you are on a space kick, a few other titles that might interest you: No Man's Sky is quite decent, Oxygen Not Included is amazing! And a bit different as it's not exactly "space related" directly but indirectly it does involve different realms of exploration and crafting and that is Nightingale. And we can not forget about Satisfactory and perhaps Tectonica. I'm still waiting to see how The Crust turns out.

I started playing this back around the end of 2019 beginning of 2020 before there was even blueprints, before there was even copy and paste of buildings. You either had to place every building and sorter individually or you had to go and find various mods that were not a part of the actual current release build. I built a partial sphere around either an O or a B type blue star. It was one of the farthest stars out on the edge of my cluster seed where I built my first sphere. Before that I had already claimed the blue giant, the neutron star system, and the black hole system for their rare resources. It was this outer system that I decided to build my sphere. The size of the star was close to 2.5 times the diameter of your starting system. It was twice as bright, it had 5 or 6 planets. It had close to 50x the amount of resources. And the luminosity to energy conversion was about 2.9x. I only built a portion of the entire shell which would be about 1/16th the entire sphere. It is a banner near the stars equator and it's a good 1.5 AU in height and a good 5-7 AU in width. The innermost planet is about 3.5 AU from the star which happened to be a lava planet and when the sphere comes into the sky view from this planet, you can not see the entire thing. The two outermost planets in this system are about 13 - 16 AU out and even from these planets you can still see the banner as it rotates around the star. When it comes into view you can still read my gamertag name on it. That's how massive this structure is. As for all of the factories to build everything up, it was all done by hand, every belt, building, sorter, power pole etc... As I stated there was no copying and pasting of buildings and there were no blueprints. The only thing you could copy and paste were recipes or filters from one building to the next. With having the blueprints in the game, one can easily setup a smelting array, or a manufacturing line once, copy it and then just place it down in an instance... This game has come a long ways since then, and now with the release of the Dark Fog. There's new incentives to keep on playing it. This game is within the top 10 of my game lists of must play games alongside Satisfactory, Factorio, Oxygen Not Included, Subnautica, and a few others... My biggest issue right now is the limitation of my hardware. My system is a decent build for its time, but it's definitely at the end of its life cycle. It's a Core 2 Quad Extreme from back around 2007 - 08 and I'm still running Windows 7. As for my ram, it has 8GB DDR3 which is the max my motherboard can support and as for the graphics card, I have an NVidia GTX 750 Ti. 2GB card. So yeah, I'm still using either DirectX 11 or Vulkan. I'm still able to play this game on my system but it's starting to push my system to its limits. The same goes for Satisfactory. I was able to play that without issue all through Updates 4 - 7... but with Update 8 migrating to Unreal 5... I haven't even attempted to try playing Satisfactory again... I use to be able to play No Man's Sky for a little while but a few updates ago... I can't even load the game anymore. These crafting - building games are amazing, yet they are truly pushing the limits of the hardware and sure my system is nearly 15-16 years old, but it's still a work horse and yet it can barely keep up anymore... I am not just amazed at the game play or aesthetics of DSP, I am also amazed at how efficient the game actually is for everything it has to offer. I give major props to the dev team. They are or were at least a small team who started this project only about 5 or 6 developers, and they have listened to and paid attention to their community. I've seen over a 1/2 dozen mods that were very common or popular to use and over time, the game devs incorporated their own version of those mods into the actual core mechanics of the game. The factory must grow!

I have about 1300 hours and Dyson Sphere program. I'm actually working on the mission complete in under 10 hours achievement. It's a lot of strategizing butt so much fun

How on earth does Factorio 'punish' you for tearing a factory down and rebuilding it. The mechanics are exactly the same as in DSP. All items used in building the factory are returned to you when it is demolished. There is nothing lost. If you don't calculate the ratios properly first time round just tear it down and rebuild it bigger and better. Please explain how you are 'punished'.

Damn Bro, welcome to the game! I've got a solid 2,100 hours in DSP, I'd recommend you check out the Galactic Scale mod for your next DSP run! Its simply a whole new level - my personal favourite features are being able to customise the starting planet, the number of planets per system etc. oh and can't forget variable planet sizes! DSP vanilla planets are size 200 - with GS you can go from tiny size 40 comets up to size 510 mega planets! The only down side is the blueprints can get a little.... trickey with variable planet sizes (polar zone BPs are out but that's not a huge issue IMO)

I totally agree with you, I'm 68 years old and was CRUSHED when we had one of our 2 cats develop a UTI and was put down UNESSISARLY. Due to an idiot vet and idiot Joe Biden and his supply chain BS. No prescription food. Thanks Joe. JACKASS. Now my UTI cat is gone, Skittles the UTI cat found a main coon under a car. I suckered this main coon into our patio. He has no one to play with now and WILL NOT ACCEPT a new cat. However, this 20 lbs. main coon mix cat like you have is the most gracias sweetest cat I've ever owned. Never an issue with anything. Never did I ever think I would be so shattered, and it's been two years. Cats have a way owning your heart. I forget sometimes that there are shelter cats needing a turn to come home too. I do feel your pain.

2 Things you may notice in this video: One is that I skipped some of the Biomes & Bosses during this Playthrough, I did this intentionally for 2 reasons: One was to make the run faster, but the other was so that less of the game was spoiled for those who haven't played it either at all or all the way through yet. The other thing is that during some of my previous streams I'd mentioned trying to make this a "True Deathless" run with nothing to revive me, but ended up using the Astronaut during the fight with Nemesis.... That one'll be our secret ;)

The story of a miracle: Years ago I got a cat for my son when he was 5, my son had a speech problem he was late for his age, We got that cat who was from a barn cat litter, and, the last one was the runt of the litter, he was 5 months old, he got attach to me son right the same minute we saw him he went to my son and asked to be picked up, he was very talkative. may be good for a child who does not talk, The same evening the cat was in his bed and talking to him and, we heard our son talk a full sentence for the first time, we were crying, we had a miracle done by a barn cat. When we saw the vet. the day after he assured us that we had a Main coon, a beautiful tabby main coon, the vet said that these cats were used on farms in our area for century because they were loyal and good ratters...........hum not exactly what we wanted he would be a house cat. That cat lived 20 years, in his last moments he waited for my son to be home from college before asking the ultimate act of love for our furry kids we could do he went to sleep in my son's arms. He was a huge soft talkative cat of 20 lbs all muscles in his best days before old age took him, I used to walk him on a leash like a dog. Sorry for the long post but that reminded me of a good time, our son is today is a very respected professional speech specialist. So, if people say cats are egocentric and aloof they never met our cats.
