A beautiful woman telling a horrific story with such grace. Thank you for your courage to share. America better wake up. Listen to her, all that you have can be gone in an instant. Lovely lady.
I totally agree. There were many survivor stories from the Shoah Foundation that I wanted to listen to, but the interviewer was SO intrusive until it got to be very annoying to me. The interruptions were just too much. It angered me because I wanted to hear their stories.
What a wonderful testimony Mrs Halbreich,, One could say a lot of luck, perhaps miracles along the way but the bravery of your father was amazing. All for his children. So glad your mother came through. My word, Siberia must have been so cold. Perhaps it was the thought of family that got her through. Thank you so much 🙏🙏🙏👵🇦🇺
What a brave woman . You could see the pain on her face, and in her body, of the recalling of memories. Such important testimony. Blessings to you and your family ma’am . 🙏🙏🙏🙏👵🇦🇺
What a wonderful testimony, thank you so much. No child, nor adult , should have to experience what you did. I guess it’s less traumatic in a way than many others but it in no way coveys what you all went through. Your poor dad, I think for so long he wasn’t permittted to speak about his Dachau ( oh what the poor man must have seen) but it was still there, festering inside his head. No wonder he got it all mixed up. And your mum, perhaps she couldn’t understand either , perhaps she was back to being scared also. Years of fear and hunger and with a child to shelter , it must cause havoc on her mind. So glad you met someone nice and had a good life. Wish he’d given the opportunity to ask about your children. Perhaps it was your choice not to. Blessings to you and your family Mrs Goetz, thank you kindly 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏👵🇦🇺
What a shame they didn't give this wonderful survivor more time to share his story. He was cut off before he could say if he made it to Germany or if he later found family members. Otherwise the interviewer did a good job.
So sorry the interviewer cut this testimony short. Would loved to have had more details about his life in Switzerland, then in Israel. What made him move to America? What happened to the rest of his family? Grateful for this account.
im doing a project and so thats why im watching this video but damn this really interest me and i forgot all about the assignmetn and just listened to her story but yeah i gotta do my project now
What an amazing, raw and beautiful testimony! Considering the world today and all the denials that the Holocaust happened, this is such a beautiful cautionary tale. It could happen again…
I was her teacher's assistant when I was in the 8th grade. When she would tell her story, the classroom was so quiet that you could hear a pin drop. This was before she wrote her book, "My Destiny,". Thank you Ms Gabor for allowing me to be your Teacher's Assistant.
I am asking because I do not know English. Is this lady who remembers my city - Warsaw related to the Polish poet Marian Hemar? Thank you for your response.
Wow. This is the meaning of a true HERO
Thank you for your testimony.
In Gaza ……

Thank you so much for your testimony. It is very much appreciated. Watching from New Zealand.
Doesnt a broken arm need a cast ? The hospital in Auschwitz didnt treat patients in any way shape or form , there was no medical treatment at all .
Unheard of people to survive Treblinka as it was a death camp ❤❤❤ she was very lucky x
Her hair is wonderful ❤❤❤❤ The Nazis were completely insane sadistic and heartless , Godless creatures from Hell .
I think the Uk wouldnt take in jewish refugees before the war
Great documentary. Shame about the sound quality.

Great story and the interviewers never interrupted. All should be like this

I agree. Surely the interview could have been extended.
She is proof of the usefulness of the second amendment.
Beautiful lady
This guy having to register is akin to Canadians registering their guns so they can be taken later.
Them having to register their belongings is akin to Canadians having to register their guns for confiscation.
