What temp should I use my iron on? Thanks for sharing the info. I was using a soldering iron and it was just too much. Destroyed one g30S lower grip module. Thanks!
Hotter the better. An adjustable temp is ok to use to learn, but at the end of the day the higher the temp the cleaner the work
@@gledhillcustoms4659I just tried doing my G19 and I don’t think I had it hot enough (adjustable) I would lift up and get little plastic hairs
Thanks bud. You’re right. There wasn’t much good advice on this. I did my Glock 19x with a soldering iron with the pin prick method. Luckily it came out acceptable. Using the variable temp wood burning iron was the piece of the puzzle I was missing. Thank you.
👊🏻
Is there still a business for hand stippling, or has everything switched to laser, are you still in business. I would much rather have hand. I like the way it looks better
Absolutely. There will always be a place in the market for hand work.
You do great work. I have learned some new tricks from you. You’re right about it’s an art. Keep the videos coming. Long live the 2nd amendment.
Football bit!!!!!
Great video helped me a lot
thank you. I bought a psa dagger slide and have been dealing with this issue. Gonna sand down the plunger tonight and see if that fixes my issue. 🤙 my oem Glock slide doesn’t have this issue so I figured it was slide related.
The edge work looks rough man
Do you ever add material if you sand down too much
What did you cut the outline with?
Brand new to this, doing it for a hobby. Thank you for the awesome video.
Damn you're so good at it!
What tool is that ?
I've done quite a few myself, but this is painful to watch.
Why 😂
I’m lost at why, I’m new. People need to explain why rather than just talking shit.

I Just sent my G43x to the Glock Store and had mine done and it’s perfect
Glad to hear you had a good outcome.
@@gledhillcustoms4659 I have limited use of my left hand I got wounded in combat that’s why I had to have it done or I would have tried it my self. Your video is great
What woodburning kit do you recommend?
Also, thank you for the videos
I run the 30W wall lenk
Nice piece! I cannot stress enough with the right words how my PRUSA MK4 3D printer has been fucking amazing! I have printed out easily over 100 Glock lowers. I have the files for every single Glock in existence. But I also print out ARs, Shotguns, parts, tools and so much more. If you are thinking about purchasing a 3D printer, the Prusa is a champ and prints out high quality, very detailed Glocks. So many custom designs out there from batman, dragons, pro-military, American flag and so much more. Great video! If you want files, reply to this and I will be glad to share via discord, email or anything. Can't stop the bump!
With my "slide drag", the slide will not fully engage unless I hard rack it. Whenever I soft rack it, it does the same as yours, only difference, a slight shake is what fully engages it.
They’re not designed to soft rack.
you got one steady ass hand
🙏🏻
Just came across your channel. Loving it. The videos I've watched so far are all Glock. Do you also customize other brands? Keep up the good work!
Thanks! Ya I work on just about anything. Glocks seem to be the majority though
what dremel are you using?
I run a foredom 1060
What do you charge for this? I may need my back strap texture removed (small hands) G19 gen 3
Depends on what all is done. Most jobs run 285-300
So badass i need to do this to my P92
🙏🏻🙏🏻
Are you not changing any springs? I installed a Tactical Pontoon trigger, and due to arthritis in my trigger finger, James had me try different springs. I'm very happy with the trigger, but I'll try this on my next build.
Nope. No changes other than what is done in the video 🤘🏻
So you took grip off to add more grip
It’s literally what they pay me to do 🤷🏻♂️
Hey ty for sharing the video and explaining. I saw it on TikTok but wasn't sure what it was , glad you have UA-cam!!!! New subscriber here...
🙏🏻🙏🏻
What a dirty job
Dirty hands clean money
How do you fit that size Dremel in that device? I bought one and none of my bits fit in it :/
You need to get the proper collet for the rotary head
@@gledhillcustoms4659thanks man!
@MycoTrophic I'm late but Yeah the collet sizes are the key and dremel bits/tips seem confusing until you get the basics down like this and learning which tips do what 👌 you got this bro. Gonna do my own outline and grip stipple on my g19x after I go to pistol requals, just don't wanna get busy before then and not have time to finish before the requals. Also look up "dremel 4486 keyless chuck" it fits any collet size and it dosent strip over time and it's easy to get off compared to the regular collet nuts that usually need pliers to loosen after a while. The keyless chuck by dremel has made a huge difference, they also make a dremel workstation that makes it a drill press and the dremel can rotate 90 degrees with stops in between but it can hold it perfectly vertical, there's also a dremel multi-vise that also hold the dremel but this give you a lot more hands free use of the dremel so you can hold what your working on... sorry for the long reply... cool stuff tho!
I have a Dremel that runs at about 23,000 RPMs, do I need something higher to achieve the same result like you have right here?😊
Not necessary but it definitely helps. I didn’t upgrade until I had built my skill set enough to do so
Love all the videos soaking up all the information before I attempt my first project. Thank you for all the great tips 🙏

Thanks for this video! I’ve owned 5 glocks and built three 80%s and every single one of them have had this issue. Giving it a try now 🤘

Dude cool videos but for real tho what in this world is on your chin
❤❤
When I dry fire my p80 26 my slide comes completely forward and off like if I was taking it apart can someone please help I’ve been tryna to fix this issue for weeks
Slide lock issue. Either backward (grove goes towards the back) or a spring tension issue.
Certainly looks cool but i wonder how functional it is compared to an actual gas pedal.
Identical. These are a great option
@@gledhillcustoms4659 awesome. What would you estimate the depth of the cut? About 10mm? I think that would indeed be enough to make a noticeable difference, especially with a proper grip.
@@kogasoldier9379 that’s probably fairly close, not as much on the slim line frames. The increased surface area where it’s rounded and stippled fit the thumb nicely. It’s surprisingly a noticeable difference
@@gledhillcustoms4659 looks great! Keep up the good work! I recently got into stippling my guns and came across your video and it inspires me to give this an attempt.
Amazing
🙏🏻
Do you actually cut the initial lines with the 953? If so do you lay it flat or straight down?
I hold it on its side so the edge of the flat part is what is cutting
