In less than 60,000 km I've had two times the gearbox fully exchanged. The battery failed 3 times either. The roof mechanic failed 4 times. The brake disc mounting screws fell out of the discs because they are not of a good quality and not serviced by default. The pyrotechnical sticks exploded on a low intensity side impact that damaged little else. Lucky me I had extended warranty, That 200k car would have cost me 100k just to maintain otherwise. But it was under repair and maintenance for 3-4 months every year. So I really can not recommend a Ferrari for anyone who wants great value. The only upside is that it is quite durable in economic value, it is still worth a lot after 5 years.

Considering that there are just a couple of these in the world, this is probably the same car I saw in 2012 at my first ever exotic car show at the Ritz Carlton in Orlando. I just gushed over the car for the entire show lol

Lovely spec. I usually don't go for white cars, but Lambo paint always looks good, especially on that crazy body. Also, a note on the exhaust; everyone these days are going for the high-pitched Gintani exhaust on these cars, but I think theres something special about the Aventadors low pitched roar. I really like this modified exhaust!

Beautiful review, you guys are great. I go out of my way to find reviews and vids of the "original" LP700-4, its my favorite version of the Aventador, and the purest in design. At 9:47, yeah they tuned the transmission, I believe the really early cars could have a transmission seal leak that was very expensive to fix but I think they improved that. Suspension also got softer by a bit as the original ones were very harsh. The one you drove in this video should also have automatic engine start/stop (can be turned off with a button), cylinder deactivation where in strada mode, at highway cruising speeds it should turn into an inline 6 engine and then alternate between both sides of the engine every 2 minutes for even wear, and it also has new programming for the spoiler where it will go up in certain high temperature conditions (like in some of the early shots of this video) because there is a vent under the wing and it helps more heat to escape the engine bay. The only way to put the spoiler back down in that state is to start driving again and at a certain speed, it will lower

That cheap china knock-off SV body style kit ruins the look of the car. The original bodykit definitely cost more than that replica kit that is on the car. Wheels are a bad choice too. Otherwise very beautiful roadster. These cars can be driven daily, I used to daily drive the LP640 coupe until I changed to a LP650 roadster recently.
