Haven't quite figured out how they spawn, but I think it's a bit of RNG and your reputation with the other factions. I've ran multiple extracts and had different encounters with patrols and enemy types.

That's fair! I used to play a lot of Fallout 3 / NV /4 so I don't mind the hacking mini game, it reminds me of those good times!

In their QA videos they've brought up that they will continue to update the AI behavior. I'm pretty confident in their work to deliver.

Way more interesting to sneak around than Rambo it! The game eventually discourages you to play recklessly anyway.

The different characters are different classes sort of,each having different speed,health and weight capacity(thats from my pure observation),and yes in future version you will be able to purchase different skins for the characters

Thank you! And yes, as @fakepretender stated in the future we will have some ability to make our scavengers more customizable by skins. The characters are classes so they all have perks over one another to suit a specific playstyle, which contributes to your health, speed, carry weight and how weapons behave. The devs stated in their trailer they'll be releasing more characters as well, all free of charge to combat the terrible practice of today's game studios releasing content for the sake of $$$.

They have a lot of work to do but they're well aware of what needs to be fixed. It takes time to finetune the controls but that is also the reason for the early access state - compiling the feedback we give them so they can create the game we (the dev and the player) both want in the end.

Buddy, in this game you a easy to die scavenger, not a goddamn Rambo.

Its not a modern/military shooter, its a scavenging game with survival shooting gameplay. Asking Forever Winter to have modern shooter gameplay is like asking a horror game to spectacle fighting gameplay. Also its deep early access, jank is to be expected. survival

The devs really outdid themselves, making war feel like literal hell - depictions of impaled bodies, crucifixion, and the endless stretch of bullet casings and debris littering the region as far as the eye can see. You can really tell that no side is winning, and that they don't give a damn about you either.

I had it on Ultra since launch, but it kept freezing in Elephant. So I was curious with how it would perform in Medium... and I'll tell you that what you're seeing is Medium quality at around 60 fps, give or take lol

​@@muhammadammarrasyid5780 I give more credit to the decent GPU I'm using. I export in 4k but even I'm skeptical that YT will compress my footage. The game runs worse for me on High-Ultra settings which was on my first two TFW videos.

Hey brother, I just built my PC 2 months ago with no PC knowledge and just kept an eye on sales for the parts I need. I didn't even know about this game before I built it! If it comes to console that would be killer but I'm hopeful you can play sooner and even on PC (the devs say they plan to optimize their game so lower end PCs can handle it. It's not as dark as it looks, I just prefer my games to have darker areas be black so my gamma was tuned a bit down.

Agreed! AI already has most of the basic functions like threat detection, patrolling, reinforcements, etc. Devs just needs to really polish what they have first then trickle in one more mechanic at the time (personally would like to see if they can script the AI to flank and take cover.)

Noticed that too, but that's not happening all the time in different locations, as far as I know.

They can hear but they don't exactly go right into alert phase, they're just suspicious (question mark). I've noticed if you don't time a stealth melee correctly they can hear you sneak up on them and will be immediately hostile. I also think it's the type of enemy you're up against (cyborgs seem to have better perception than the others.)

The code is already shown in front of you when you pull up the keypad (top area), you just have to match the shapes
