Hiking and sharing the trails with other hiking enthusiasts. Fees, bathrooms, parking info shared in each trail. As well as trail terrain and other details.
Mount Falcon Meadowlark, Ute, Devils Elbow and Parmalee Gulch trails
Our 5 day trip was cut short due to Covid. I’ll have to come back and hike Willow Creek Falls near Silverthorne, Silver Dollar Lake and Estes Park.
After I recovered from Covid, I was able to hike Mount Falcon near Evergreen and Morrison, Colorado. Beautiful views, nice trails and I saw deer.
Free parking and bathrooms. It was not busy during the week.
I used AllTrails to navigate the trail.

It ended up being 7.5 miles with an elevation of...

We hiked to Lake Isabelle via Pawnee Pass via Brainard and Long Lakes. We crossed over the beautiful South Saint Vrain Creek. This is a beautiful hike with lots of views. The trail is busy with hikers in places. You will need a parking permit from recreation.gov. They do take the America the Beautiful pass and there are bathrooms in the park.

There are lots of trails to choose from and views in all directions. It’s a nice urban hike not too far from town. We saw no other hikers on the trail. Parking is in a residential area so there are no fees or bathrooms.

The eruption destroyed the cities of Pompei, Herculaneum and a few others. Like Pompei the city of Herculaneum was buried under ash for many years before it was rediscovered in 1709. Italy Trip 2024 Episode 3 Hiking through Florence
Hiked this trail countless times while I was in the California Conservation Corps in 1994/1995. I lived up at the old CCC center at the top of Requa rd, and would hike down to Hidden Beach.
It is such a beautiful trail. We were lucky to find it and hike it. Hope to do more up there some day.
Beautiful Thanks for sharing your fun nature adventure
That last hill above Cloghane was so hard! But the food at the pub at the end made up for it!!!!
@@hoonjr1 it was. The hard part for me was coming down the backside steps in the rain. Yes great food was great. Thanks for watching.
Very nice video. I enjoyed watching it. Thanks for sharing. 👍1
@@KhurshidsChannel thank you so much. Such a beautiful place.
Beautiful video! (it’s Saddlebag not Saddleback Lake😉)
Thanks for the feedback. I checked Alltrails and the internet and it shows Saddlebag.
Thanks for sharing, informing and inspiring.
@@pulpomurphy5894 you are so welcome.
@@thuthiehiker Susie what time of year did you hike the Dingle Way? The Mount Brandon day looked very windy and wet.
@@pulpomurphy5894 We started the middle of June. We had some rain the day before Mount Brandon. The day was nice on the day of Mount Brandon until we got to the top. It started to clear up after we headed down. I read that Mount Brandon can be iffy. We thought we were good until we got up there. It was crazy but it was short lived. We had rain gear and an umbrella that we used temporarily. Thanks for watching. I loved the Dingle Way. It was nice to take an extra day in Dingle. Hope you get to experience it.
Nice area!
It sure is! Love that area. There’s another trail back there that takes you around a bunch of lakes.
@@thuthiehiker yes I’ve done most of that but not been up to the Conness Lakes nor Bennetville
Nice video. I've been studying my topo map to figure out some new, shorter circuits in the Mammoth area and I've been considering going over Duck Pass down to the JMT, then hike north to Red Cones (all downhill after the summit at DP), then go back up over Mammoth Pass to Horseshoe Lake, or optionally finish at Reds Meadow (timing it when the road is open). I'm curious if there were any water sources between the start of the Crater Meadow trail and Red Cones? On the map I can see a stream about halfway, but it might be seasonal. Then when you get to Red Cones I see another stream that I think is pretty reliable, unless it's a drought year.
I don’t remember where we saw water. And we were there in October. So sorry. Sounds like a great trip. I’ve been up to Ducks Pass. Beautiful trail. Happy Trails. Maybe a ranger could answer those questions by phone. They are usually pretty helpful in Mammoth.
Doing this in 2 weeks, looking forward to it
Did you see my comment on the altitude sickness. I don't know if we ascended to quickly. I didn't have an appetite by the time we got to the top. Enjoy it's so beautiful. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Did that trip recently
Such a great trip.
So you cant drive on it?
No it is closed.
My recommendation is to record and upload on UA-cam in 2560x1440 resolution, as UA-cam can sometimes display HD 1920x1080 less effectively. Otherwise, great video!
Thank you so much for these videos! I'm hiking it in September but haven't found a comprehensive guide yet and this is perfect. I started taking magnesium supplements for my anxiety and it has helped a lot! thanks again.
You are so welcome. Enjoyed the trip so much. The anxiety is real. Check out this video. It’s been helping me with anxiety. ua-cam.com/video/vDwxtvjRnuM/v-deo.htmlsi=tEH7pa87T5LZKLbY

The correct spelling is “Annascaul”.
The correct spelling is “Annascaul”.
cluh-han as in hand
tra as in trawler, tra is a beach and lee is the river that runs through the town, the town is part of the lee valley, it directly translates as beach lee, but it would more appropriately transfer into lee strand, does that make sense?
Thank you for the lesson.

What a beautiful place my friend, this looks great.
Good evening!Yeah-so amazing trip . goodnight~
Gorgeous but a little scary😮
Actually it was pretty safe.
Amazing scenery!!
Such a beautiful place!
So beautiful!
Was it scary in that part where you were at 990 elevation and you said you’re hanging off the edge?!? I was scared watching you 😂
No I felt safe. The trail was in good shape. 😊
Thanks for this video! Would a sedan with 2WD be able to make it down the dirt/gravel road? I’ve heard so many mixed things about the condition of Saddlebag Lake road.
It’s been awhile since I’ve been on that road. It may be okay. No guarantees with all the snow. I’d try and call a ranger in that area. Hope it works out. Great area.
In dry weather most any car can handle the gravel portions. The steep parts are paved with asphalt. Just go slow and steer around the potholes. Amazing place to hike!
@@danjohnston4339 Thanks so much for the reply - I'll be heading there in a couple of weeks!
Beautiful video. Thanks for sharing. sub & 👍1
did you guys use credit card or a lot of cash?
Great question. We used both. The smaller businesses prefer cash. If you press them they might take a credit card. Sometimes we did press as we were running out of euros.
Such a beautiful tour my friend, this looks and feels amazing!
Thank you. Enjoyed this hike. First of its kind for me.

@@thuthiehiker great! I will look forward to it
So peaceful. I am coming to visit next month. How is the weather there and is it a busy these days?
It is getting busier. My suggestion is to start early visiting any place in Italy. Less people. Get the earliest reservation time as possible.
The weather was great. Not too hot yet. Just a little rain one day.
Beautiful. Watching your video from South africa
Thanks for watching.

Really enjoying walking along with you, your comments, and recommendations. Making notes for my August 2024 walk, especially the food stops.
Thank you so much. When I started making UA-cam videos that was my intention. That’s what I look for when I watch videos. Information and trail conditions and safety. I hope your trip is just as amazing. Currently touring Italy and Croatia. Some hiking but lots of walking. New videos coming the end of May.
I would like to do the dingle way in august. Is it signed all the time? I am going alone
That’s awesome. There is signs all the way all the time I would imagine. The signs are not temporary. Does that answer the question?
Yes thank you!!!!! And do you think it is possible to do the trail with the tent?
I didn’t see but a few tents here and there. I would do some more research. I found this online. Can you wild camp in Dingle? Wild Camping in Ireland: An Ultimate Guide - Mako56 With its rolling hills, pristine beaches, and stunning scenery, the Dingle Peninsula is the perfect destination for wild camping. Hope this helps.
@@racheledemarco4080 yes it is. Enjoy.😊

You did end up at some nice wineries. So many there. The majority of Paso red wines, are full bodied , bold and dry. We go twice a year and belong to numerous clubs there, Law being one of them. I liked that you did mention who liked what and where in your captions!
Thank you for the comments. Such a great trip. I bet it’s pretty when all the vines have leaves.
This was such a nice and relaxing video to cook to, thank you!
Thanks for posting the video. This place has been on my bucket list. The black water birds are called coots. They are everywhere in San Diego. The last time I was at Santee lakes there were so many they looked like ants. This is a nice urban park. We are luck to have some many parks in San Diego county.
San Diego area has great hiking. Thanks for watching.
