WWF / WWE - Grafiken Tele 5 (1989/90)
This is the earliest WWF/WWE stuff that I still have. After having started doing commentary of WWF shows for the German TV station Tele 5 who owned the WWF rights in 1989, I also wanted to provide information. At the time, I only worked for the station and not WWE directly (I signed my first WWE contract in 1993), we didn't get finished shows from WWF with all the storylines, etc. So I chose matches from the tapes we received, edited them in the studio and did commentary. Like regular sports programmes (I wanted wrestling to be perceived as real sport, so that Germans not knowing it would take it seriously) I wanted to have graphics made, i.e. marble busts with photos and real info (I didn't yet know you didn't do that in wrestling). After a lot of trying out in the graphics department, we found the right "marble" and did graphics for every wrestler which would be inserted as they came to the ring. I recently found the DVD that I had made from the original 2" broadcast master tapes - and here are all the graphics we did back in 1989/90. Since there was never any sound I chose 2 songs that I wrote and recorded a while ago so as to have a little music underneath. Hey, it was difficult getting all that info in the pre-internet days. Most of the infos I got from the "Wrestling Observer Newsletter" which I had subscribed to and got once a month from the US and from US wrestling magazine which I bought at a premium price at train station newsagents (the only place where you could get them in Munich). Have fun.

WWE promo for WrestleMania X (Outtake by The Smoking Gunns)
WWE promo for WrestleMania X (Outtake by Luna Vachon)

Gesagt, getan...Die Zahnärztin sprach kein Englisch, Luna kein Deutsch. Also musste ich Sachen sagen w...

Luna was awesome.
The metal promo 😂
Bart gunn looks like john morrison.
Howd her voice not hurt
That shot at 0:21 is awesome too ❤❤
💚💜🖤
She was scary and hot! Rip Luna
😢Much love for Luna Vachon. RIP. ❤❤. I love the close up of her face at the start of the promo and that look on her face at 0:35 so MEAN ❤❤ . Gone but not forgotten 😢😢xx
I got to meet her when I was young and she was such a sweetheart. It was when she was in the oddities. Man 25 years ago, I was 15. I won't forget her.
A Rita Repulza rip off
sooooooooooo hot
I met her!! She was nice and had really tough, low voice. Later that day, Kenvin Nash wooped my ass for calling him Vinny Vegas. Great day!!!
Imagine how over shed be today with the level of women's talent now. She was decades too early.
I liked when she was paired with BBB
Such a beautiful woman taken from us too soon 😢
Luna Vachon would have been amazing in the modern era of Women's wrestling. Vince McMahon did her dirty.
She was even scarier than Paul Bearer 😅
She always did sound like she just smoked a package if cigarattes a second before. But she was unique. I would even say that there would be no Chyne without a Luna.
As a kid I thought the face tats on Luna was real haha. She was such a a great performer. That voice too, perfect for a drill sgt!
F WWE for not giving her a real induction into the HoF. Putting her in as a Legacy induction was a dirty move. She deserved to be talked about more than Booker Ts wife did.
I need this t-shirt. R.I.P. Baby girl! 😢
Luna was HOT!!!!!
Man, she would have made a great death metal singer.
She is so damn sexy! Very very underrated wrestler. Never got the respect you deserve always put everybody over always sold for everybody.
How embarrassing
Luna was such a Pro, A Champ in my Book
Really really hoping to see this figth between you luna and madusa with you both straped up to leather dog collers around your neacks hooked to a steel chain tagther luna vachon
With you to ladies Luna
When will you Luna and madusa giong to be straping on thos leather dog collers with the steel chain hooked to them between you Luna and madusa will this figth happen
Luna was actually the very first female wrestler to be included in a WWF video game, I think on the SNES and SEGA Genesis. First WWF diva to be in a game was none other than Miss Elizabeth, RIP to both of you, gone but always remembered.
Shes hott
"It's like using a screwdriver to cut roast beef" is one of the most unique lines I've ever heard in a wrestling promo.
loooove this Carsten!!!! Beautiful, tough, spellbinding, but shockingly sweet & funny when she broke character! I appreciate this treasure. Indeed LUNA LIVES FOREVER
"Dude Luna Fucking ruled" is what I Just said to the 6 foot posable skeleton I have seated next to me. His name is Rick and he's my friend. Marijuana is legal in Ohio now.
She always reminded me of a one of a kind jewel that had the most jagged edges but also had the richest color and shine to it❤
My goodness I miss this lady 🙏🕊️🤍
I bet she was a great lay
I think Luna deserves to be in the HOF sadly I don’t think it will ever happen…
she actually went in years ago.
Gerade Dark Side of the Ring S03E07 geguckt und dann hier gelandet. Good ol' times
There are many female wrestlers today but they wouldn't be there if not for women like Luna who paved the way for them throughout those tougher decades and kept women's wrestling from dying.
I wish they hadn't stopped filming when they did.
She was actually kinda cute.
When will madusa actuly be your pet slave gerl by a leather dog coller with chain ⛓️ with you Luna
That smile at the end gives me hope 😢🙏
Interesting to see mentioning of the previous gimmicks from outside of WWF and also the titles they won from that promotion
Well, that was at the very beginning when I was working for the station directly and we could treat it any way we wanted to. I compiled the shows from the raw material we got. That would change from about 1993 onward when we got finished shows and WWE got more involved what we aired and said in commentary.
may she RIP i miss her
Luna did not have breast implants here but by the time she did her feud with Sable she had big boobs like Sable
WOW
