j ai eu une chance de le voir en concert et c est une chose qui restera dans ma tete jusque la fin quel perte le blues à perdu le plus grand malgré que j adore eric clapton
In Wikipedia it was wrote that his Liver failure was brought on by excessive, repetitive use of Paracetamol ( I expected the culprit to be booze, and , for all I know, it was the one with the other (?) ) and he actually had a Liver transplant. So very young to die and a tragic waste of Talent and Love. A genuine nice guy by many many accounts.😢
Eric Clapton is/was a superb guitar player technically speaking. What I miss is that I can't feel the lyrics in the guitar. Same applies to his singing. When you love someone but can't get to him/her, your emotions fluctuate between anger, depression, helplessness, etc. That's what I hear/feel when I listen to Peter Green on guitar and vocals, which makes him in my opinion the best blues interpretator. But then again, that's my opinion for what it's worth: ua-cam.com/video/2SUDzYBbiuU/v-deo.html
Yes...Eric has gotten a lot of media criticism regarding his vaccine stance and previous ill advised drunken racist remarks. I condemn those. However, for anyone who thinks this man doesn't identify with the blues or isn't an authentic purveyor of the genre, than you don't know anything about blues guitar. His singing and those licks are the real thing. As for as the blues goes, Eric gets it.
This was fabulous! Thank you. His performances of this song are so great. Almost as good as the man he is emulating.... ua-cam.com/video/mE9H1bW-zQ4/v-deo.html
The From The Cradle era was probably the closest he came to reigniting that fire he had from the Cream days. I think the 335 had something to do with that too.
watching this DVD made me want to be in a band and buy a red Gibson 335. Love this guitar and amp combo. The guitar is at Guitar Center in Times Square NYC. Have seen it in person and stared at it for a good 30 min
I’m sad and kinda drunk, but this is the best for a broken heart like mine, anyway if you read this you’re enjoying one of the best musician ever and that’s good, Clapton is god, let’s listen him together hahaha Have a nice day everyone!!!

Sixteen people listened to this song sober and were mad about it

Just listen to Clapton and you understand that Santana is really a clown
EXCEPTIONNEL ! Comme Hank B Marvin... Des guitaristes dans un style différent, mais au-dessus du lot...

That 335 was being pleasured on that stage. And she loved every second of it.
God damn that 335 is as pure as the wind driven snow. What a fucking tone. Why in gods name did he get away from this magnificent instrument.
Miss you
I was there!
Eric at his best no one to equal him when he plays like this.
