    I was in the US Army for 8 years and this is 90% spot-on (for an up-armored HMMWV atleast; the lightweight "soft-skin" HMMWV's sound different despite same engine). The only suggestion I can give that gives it that missing authenticity is to add: 1. Sound variations for terrain type. I.e. for dirt, the sound of rocks/debris impacting the wheel wells and the sound of the tires. 2. More engine "gutter-like" growl sounds. It doesn't sound like the engine is "laboring" enough given it's an up-armored HMMWV.

    How are you supposed to run the demo if it requires an F35SoundSystem plugin that isn't included?

      The demo only works with the plugin. The demo is needed so that you can see in detail how this or that works in a ready-made project. How variables are passed from the flight model to the sound system. How replication works and so on. To simply appreciate the product, all you have to do is watch the video. In it we tried to show all the features of our plugin. Thanks

      @@luckycogstudios Yes, you're right. Plugins for ground vehicles and for helicopters we have done so. Demo scene inside the plugin. However, were made the jets much earlier. And at that time we couldn't put demo scene inside the plugin because of some rules of placement on UE Marketplace. Later these rules were removed

    Quality of your work is just mind blowing <3 I have a question though, as am working on a VR game, player has their own VR character, when I add my F-18 with the SoundFX component, all other sounds disappears and only when player get into the jet seat where I set him as listener then it fixed....but not for the other players around him......I will try to record a video to explain it better.

      Many thanks! As for your question, I think there's smth wrong with the listener position when F18 added. Try to change the camera to the "main", when you add it. And the listener position will be updated. Or change it manually or with our function

    It sounds NOTHING like a Black Hawk! It's closer to a small single engine propeller plane. The idea is nice though, I hope you can fix the sounds used.

      I'm sorry to hear that. I think you hear the sound of the propeller from the tail rotor of a helicopter. It does sound a lot like in the UH-60. And its volume depends on the thrust on the tail rotor. And in this video the pedals were used to the max :) However, at the moment, the sound is realised according to our audio recordings. But if you point to your audio-video clip or some other, indicating the discrepancy and what you would like to change - we will definitely do it and think what can be done. Thank you.

    This has to be the most advanced sound system for a vehicle that I have ever seen. I especially like the air brake and suspension reaction sound integration, something that isn't really seen anywhere else. Also, this has to be the best-sounding Chaos vehicle ever. Perfect mixing and sound use, even the low and mid rpm's sound really great. Amazing job👍

      If you only want sounds, unfortunately not yet. There is a sound pack for Abrams on our website, but it is quite old and doesn't include most of the sounds from UE.     Great job with that asset! AAA Sounds Is it possible to change the Attenuation for the sound cues at runtime? I saw that in this asset you can only get "Cue Stance Changed" sound cue in Blueprint, but you can't use it for these things. For the other sound cues you can't even use the "get" function in Blueprint, same for the Weapon sound system. I try to create a system, that with ingame headphones you can change the "Falloff distance" of the Attenuation (Tarkov style). For that i need dynamic control of the Attenuation settings. Is there a way to change the Falloff Distance at runtime or calling the sound cue settings?

      Thank you! As for dynamically changing the attenuation - I don't know if this is possible in UE. But I've been working in sound design for many years, and I'm more than sure that it makes no sense to dynamically change attenuation parameters. They have to be set correctly once.

I've been testing that with either spawning a sound or a sound component, with both i could use the functions "get attenuation settings to apply" and "attenuation adjustment" to tweak the parameters at runtime. Or i did it with the "Set Integer Parameter" function directly in the sound cue (attenuation function in the sound cue). The effect that i try to do is, if you equip (ingame) headphones or better headphones you can hear sounds that are further away. Usually i would agree that there is no need to adjust the attenuation at runtime, but in this case i can't think of another way to accomplish that effect.

      We have plans to create helicopter plugins. But first we need to finish replication for Multiplayer for all already created plugins. And finish the ground vehicles. At first helicopters will be made for UE, and later will move to Unity as well

    Can this be used for indoor sounds or enclosed spaces? Would that be as simple as just dropping the tail when indoors? Was also wondering if there was any plans to add weapon handling sound effects such as reloading, equipping etc.

      Yes, you are right. It's easy to implement by dampening tail sounds and using convolution reverb. We used this technique for the "Soldier Sound System" product: demonstration - ua-cam.com/video/claPa98p2gw/v-deo.html , description - ua-cam.com/video/TN_L_vzu1hQ/v-deo.html. By using the same method (even the same presets as in the "Soldier"), you will achieve the desired effect. The sounds of reloading, equipping, and others, unfortunately, depend entirely on the implemented animations. Perhaps we could collaborate with someone to create such a product together. However, ready-made animations are required. Thanks

      @@soundfx.studio thanks for the quick reply. I'm using unity engine with fmod but I'm sure I can figure out the convolution reverb in fmod. Any idea of when the solider sound system will also be up on the unity asset store? Also I guess if you want to go for a very high quality sound effect that matches an animation it would make sense however I don't think it has to be that meticulous. You can just have cuts made to the sounds and play them in time to any animation. The only reason I asked is that you have very high quality sound design compared to a lot of other sound packs that don't sound very well mastered or have quite a bit of noise/grain in their recordings. Your sounds are very clean!

    Nice work. I have a few questions/suggestions. - It would be cool if you could show a simple example with actual projectile or line trace with decal on the wall of the single, burst or auto firing modes so that we can really appreciate the timing or looping of the sounds with the firing mode with the visuals. - can you provide a demo or video setup for setting up sounds generated in an enclose space small vs large space, vs open space, appropriate settings for the attenuation, echo, taking into consideration the spatial environment - also video setup for custom guns with custom cues/wavs and explaining the different settings for tweaking? - will you be adding more guns to the complete pack? - can you make a pack for world war 1 and world war 2 weapons? Also for melee thanks

The important thing is that the tempo of the shooting is the same. And you will not be able to see any faults.       Sorry, but why can't you use cues for online multiplayer? we have helped several online shooters. All used cue. Metasounds could be in the future a good extension of the UE sound system , but at the moment it needs a lot of refinement in my opinion.

      @@JoeTheSpaceGuy Of course, all sounds change with a distance. You can see that in our video, too. As for the multiplayer, sounds shouldn't be played on the server, as no one will hear them. The server should tell the clients to play the sound via a multicast RPC. Please search the topics about "OnRep" and "Multicast". Use OnRep when you need to replicate a change in persistent state and multicast events for temporary things that won’t matter in the future.

    Do all your packs require separate plugins? So if I purchase everything, I will have like 15 plugins in my project?

      As for the weapons, there will be 6 plugins. And they will all be merged into one plugin. But it will cost too much. Therefore, products in the form of individual plugins will also remain for those who want to try, or for small projects/companies. Our main cost is not the plugin or the code.       @@soundfx.studio I have been trying to install your plug in for several hours now, it is getting frustrating. This is not an issue with the engine version or the launcher or my computer. I have tried it on another computer to no success. Why does the install to engine button do nothing? Investigate this issue please. Other plug ins are installing perfectly fine.

    How is the full auto sound done ? Is it the single shot clip played multiple times or is it a separate full auto audio file ?

      Single shots will load the CPU very heavily. Especially for multiplayer games, this is unacceptable. You can find an explanatory picture on our website soundfx.studio/shop/sfx-for-games/weapons/modern-weapons-sound-fx-library-part-i/ in the section "how to use it" - Construction Kit - Automatic firing mode. There is only one important point - the loop is played from different time positions each time. And the position exactly falls on the shot inside the loop file to maintain the correct rate of fire. This way, each shooting sounds unique.

      @@isni1946 It is not a problem. In this case you need to change the pitch of the "loop" sounds and "oneshot" sounds. In Unreal Engine it is easy to do with the Cue. But in Unity there should be an update to the code. I can add it in next update then
