Thank you so much Jayne! ❤ Most of the time I don’t really know what I’m going to paint when I open up my journal. I will create a jump off point and tune into my mood of the day. Sometimes I use a very limited palette and on other days I want very bright colours. I think the most important thing is taking that first step to get things going and then learn to trust your intuition and just play. ☺️

Hi sweet Steffi! Aww, yes I’m fine but I had to move out of my beloved home because of developers so it has been a hectic couple of months. Because of my vestibular migraine I can’t be the most consistent creator out there but I always come back and I always make sure to give it my all. ☺️ Ohh but if you’re fine with your pages then there’s nothing to fix! It’s only a way to stay happy with your journals so if you’re already there, more power to you! 😁🤗

My goodness, there was much going on in your life 😮🥴 I am really glad that you come out of it and you are fine although you have to fight with migraine 😭😣 I know about this very well, in my younger times I had the same problem 😢 the only thing I can say the older I get the better it's been 🙏 Wish you a great time 😘

@@SteffiCullen I’m so happy you grew out of the migraine flare ups! They’re intense indeed and it certainly has been a challenge but I’m kinda proud that I’ve been able to fulfil all my patreon tiers in between the madness! And I’m happy I finally got diagnosed last autumn because it’s a lot less scary when you know what you’re up against and that you’re mot going blind or having a stroke haha! Now I’m hoping for calm waters so that I can share the love more freely again. ☺️ Huge hug all the way from Antwerp! 🤗

Thank you Julie! I’m so happy you enjoyed it ❤ Of course! This is a Kraft paper sketchbook from Hahnemühle. I love them so much because of the tan paper and they’re very affordable. It’s not mixed media per se but the paper is sturdy and I don’t mind a bit of buckling here and there.
