    Listening to this guy talk is at least half the reason I show up to work super tired. Fuck work though, I need this kind of perspective.

    I'll tell ya what: Henry GETS people. He get us poor, unpopular people. And god do I love him for it. He's quirky, smart, funny, cute, and a VERY talented musician. He's a very good man.

    I can keep the audio from this and place it as a ringtone, or keep it as a track on my ipod. its that amazing, and that mesmerizing. Henry Rollins is a brilliant man.

    ' it's time, it's time, time to align your body with your mind, it's hero time'' - shine - weight album - Rollins. This is what makes him so formidable !

    For the last 25 years I've stuck to what he taught me and confronted racism every time I encounter it, and there's been some tense situations. Thank you Henry, for being brave and making a difference! He also put me onto bands and 'black music' for which I will be forever grateful. If there was one person in the world I could sit down with and talk to, it would be mr Rollins. Thank you, so much!

    What an extraordinary man he is ! Been a fan for 25 years. When I was a shaved headed kid, flirting with neo nazi skin racism, one of his radio interviews on JJJ Australia turned me around. I met him once years later and didn't think to tell him ( a bit star struck). He may never know, but if he reads this he will.

    Good comment! He's a great speaker and great speakers *should* make you think. You don't have to agree with him, but he certainly gives a person some ideas to explore.

    I'm not a fan of punk music (but I love the idea), never really listened to the world he came up from, but man, I like to listen to him speak. I see him as a good man using his fame to promote very good ideas. I salute him for that.

    I don't know I'd always call Rollins "easy going" he's a pretty intense dude. Extremely passionate about what he stands for and does. He certainly tells people what they need to hear and never simply what they want to hear, and he never sugar coats it. He is a genuine human being.

  • @adammurphy6380
    @adammurphy6380 10 років тому

    that's unfair to say, and ignorant as well. Henry simply never compromised what we stood for, his choices on drugs may have helped him keep his head clear, but to say drugs is why he is who he is, or that 99.9% of his peers are drug addicted junkies...that's just stupid.

    man i thank my friends for showing me Henry Rollins and his band Black Flag. the interviews and his words are so great. i honestly download music and his music because it's hard to find that where i am from. but i put the decency to name it after the bands and artist just on how great their music is to me. really nice guy. has a wide view of things
