Hey there bruv, this was a great review. I have one of these on the way and I was concerned with the performance due to the price. I have only used my OG 240v stick welder in the past as well as a gas powered generator welder. This video gives me a lot of confidence in this machine as I only need to repair a lawn mower deck for now. I will also be trying to power this off of a predator generator and I hope that works pretty well. Anyway, I am rambling now so I will shut it down. Hope you are having a baller weekend. Cheers.

Thank you for this review. I'm currently shopping for a new multiprocess welder, and almost all the reviewers just test the welder with flux core or stick, no TIG. I understand that the TIG torch is optional, but I'm watching reviews to see how well ALL the processes work. Thanks again, and your welds look great!

How do you find the compressor with the Bestarc. Was it sufficient?

I SPENT20+ YEARS AS A CERTIFIED WELDER/UNION IRONWORKER,BEFORE BEING DISABLED. I HELD MULTIPLE CERTIFICATIONS IN NUMEROUS PROCESSES. MOSTLY VARIOUS ARC WELDING AND INNER SHIELD AND DUAL SHIELD PROCESSES. I WAS ALWAYS INTRIGUED BY TIG. BACK WHEN I GOT AROUND WELDING,TIG MACHINES WERE THE SIZE OF REFRIGERATORS! THE MULTITUDE OF VARIOUS SETTINGS FOR THE DIVERSE APPLICATIONS,HI FERQ,ALUM. ETC. THERE ARE LITERALLY REAMS AND REAMS OF KNOWLEDGE TO SOAK UP.

I try push and pull. Push is more penetration. The only time I pull is stick welding sometime you have to push

This unit is Synergetic. That means you don't set the voltage, when you set the wire feed speed, it sets an appropriate voltage for you. If you do not like the voltage it sets (too hot/cold) you press the voltage button which allows you to raise or lower that preset voltage by the +/- 5 volts. Newer version only go +/-3v.
