What is the name of the plant that is behind you, the one with the shape of a heart?

My Stephania sprouted, but then the sprout stopped growing at about and inch and a half. Does anyone know why this might happen? It's been about 3 months like this.

Oh nooooo I’ve been using full-strength liqui-dirt with every watering for at least a week or too now 😳 will my plants be ok 😭

It's called a lab wash bottle and they are awesome for watering plants that don't like their tops touched.

I had a similar experience with mine, I got it last September and It was dormant till middle spring, I live in NC and kept my Stephania in my south facing window seal in my laundry room, it stays hot and humid in there, i added little glass pebbles and rocks on top of the exposed soil for decor, but I think it helps reflect light and helps with drainage. I moved it to another space where it gets even more humidity and less light it got really long and had tiny leaves, so I moved it to brighter light and it had started to grow larger leaves. It is super neat and I can see the vine moving sometimes, it is a very active plant. I avoid watering it often because of its potential to rot. Overall it’s one of my favorites plants I have in my collection. There isn’t much online about it so thank you for sharing.

Mine sprouted but now it’s just sitting here and the little nubs on the stem keep getting brown. I threw a ziplock over it but nothings happening. I’m just praying it’ll root

a "succulent watering little container thing"???? is that the part number? or item description??? thanks for the very useful info. i DO like your trellis however. tips that you ASKED for: I had my plants under a 4 foot fluorescent fixture that had two bulbs. then i replaced the fluorescent bulbs with a Magnetic Mount LED Retrofit Kit that I bought from Amazon for $44. Three bulbs. Mounts to fluorescent fixture with magnets. 15 minute upgrade. MORE light than the fluorescent bulbs, but less power at 54W ... 5000k. Cooler temperature on the plants when its closer to them, and they LOVE it. I keep it on 12 to 14 hours a day. Photosynthesis REQUIRES at least 8 hours of darkness for most plants. Oh ... I made THE most IGNORANT mistake planting my Stephania erecta when I put it in its growing medium UPSIDE DOWN, and didn't notice until the growth (which was now coming from the exact center of the bottom) was about 3" long. I turned it over just this AM ... hope the growth turns around and it hatches some roots.

I luckily just got mine to bud! watching to see how to care for them now

the snap u accidentally made or break is like pinching that stimulates growth. there are similar plants like aralias that heals when it breaks.
