@@ynxdy lol. I have never disconnected the battery. You will just need to reset the computer with a scan tool after you install it.

Mine also does this. Would like to know how to fix as well!

@@_t.carlson_5714 I did some research further on his page and he said maybe something about a stronger relay behind the blinker switch. Maybe one that supports LED’s. I’m not sure

@ChaseLangley-m7i yea its a flasher relay that makes your blinkers work. I ordered one off Amazon and yeah it fixed the problem but the four way hazard lights don't work and just make that buzzing noise so obviously its the wrong flasher

I'm looking for exactly the same thing for my Echo Show 15 in my Sprinter. Did you get it working? Do you know what size the barrel connector is? Cheers.

I know it feels like you're going to damage it but you gotta give it a good slap with the soft back side of your fist after you kinda hook the top side on the clip. I hope I was able to explain this in a way you can understand. Let me know if that works.

@@jeepadventures909 ok thank you !!! I’ll give it a try! I was thinking I had to set the clips into the trim by sliding them from the side but I couldn’t figure out how to attach it to the car securely that way. I knew the clips had to be attached to the body first . I’ll give it a try !

Hello. Yes. It's been done for a while now. I didn't upload to my channel for a while because my heart decided it wanted to go on strike lol. I'm glad this helped you. I planned on doing a whole series on this but that kinda stopped me from doing anything for a while. I'll try to pull it out soon and do an update video. It's an awesome car and so much fun.

@jeepadventures909 Thanks, my PCM I think is out so I'm gonna replace that first as I wanted to up grade to an unlocked PCM, if that don't work TCM will be Next and the PCM has to be programed. I'm glad the TCM does not as it's getting expensive lol

@jeepadventures909 I'm getting the Diablo, so if I have to do TCM next all I have to do is reset the error code then drive it? Also I run 37 so I change my tire size

Hello Russel, when I did the module, the Jeep also had a Supercharger that had a Superchips Diablo Programmer that I used to reflash the computer, but I'M pretty sure a regular reset tool would do it. then just drive it around and let the computer learn the new shift points.

Yes but you might have to send your computer to diablo to get it unlocked first before it will allow you to do any programming. You should church with them first to see if yours needs to be unlocked.

You never told me you had a trouble code? Is it specifically telling you that the TCM is bad, or is it an actual transmission issue? If your trans itself has a problem, then the TCM won't fix the issue.

Yes, mine has the little studs to slip the clip onto then the trim snaps over them.

@@jeepadventures909 Thank you! I wanted to ask were all the body, trim clips on the bed and tailgate originally metal or was that an upgrade you made like you did on the front windshield?

@elcaminodraco it was an upgrade. All the original hardware was plastic, but I found that the older elcamino hardware was metal, and it was the same as the plastic, so I used the metal stuff. Hopefully, the next guy that restores the car ((((when I'm dead and gone. because that's the only way some other guy is getting his hands on it)))) appreciates it lol.

Hello. The 3.8l TCM is integrated into the PCM. So you would have to change the main computer if you're having shifting issues. There's a couple of programmers out there that will allow you to change your shift points. I believe superchips makes one. Hope this helps.

I assume you mean the pin that was added to the plug? It is tied into the parking light circuit.

Hello, the new module I installed was programmed for better shift points. It was a huge improvement over stock. Although the company we bought the module from doesn't really support their product very well.

Hello, I'M so sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. I've had some medical problems that have had me in the hospital for a while. but yes, this should work for your jeep and really help your driving experience. and hopefully, you still own the jeep lol .

It's most likely the relay. You can add a couple 50watt 6 ohm resistors inline with the LED blinkers and it will cure your problem. You can find them on ebay and Amazon for pretty cheap just search LED Resistor and a bunch of options will show up. Hope this helps.

I believe The 98 blinker relay is in a different location. It's located under the dash on the drivers side. I can confirm and let you know?
