It’s interesting listening to S&E talk about life being short, and nearly quitting the business because these awful movies are taking hours off your life, then we lose both of them young. A terrible irony.

I miss Siskel & Ebert, even though many films that they gave thumbs down I enjoyed watching them and the ones that they gave thumbs up I hated those films after I watched them. They were the best film critics of all time whether you agreed with them or not on good or bad films.

Well I've never seen _Cop & A Half_ although it certainly sounded and looks stupid, AND Gene was right in saying that Roger Ebert was the ONLY major film critic who liked it. That being said, I've actually SEEN _Carnosaur,_ and boy, was it BAD.

I always wanted a third one.

Gene Siskel would be the type of guy you could have a long, fascinating conversation with. Roger Ebert is the kind of guy you'd hang out with and joke with for hours. And they worked very well together.

These two were BY FAR the best

Ebert was good at grading actions and Siskel at dramas.

Oh Armaggedon is a bad film.
