You have voided the warranty by doing this. OBD port connection is the best option which doesn’t void any warranty 😊 but still a helpful video!

Wow, you sure are paranoid as hell. I was looking for rear fender modification; but all i can find on YT is over-paranoid uncles armoring up their bikes and making them worse in all aspects, out of hypothetical hysteria. I guess I'll have tp experiment on my own.

Looks like that’s the norm after we go beyond 400cc and above. All mid and high capacity bikes have more dependency on front brakes

No. I did not look out again for one. One of my friends had installed it but it broke midway on the road damaging the tyre.

Hi buddy, I think you could have not opened the headlight..instead there's a accesory socket under the seat where you can connect the wire for the ignition control. Another person from Delhi with the scoutx setup has done the same. His video is here on YT
That is an option yes. But the ignition switch is behind the headlight. If the wiring is not mapped to it, anyone can switch on the lights even without switching on the ignition
@@santip8686 of course that would defeat the purpose. But that's the point with accessory ports/points that one cannot use the aux fitments without turning on the ignition key. Case in point, try charging from the USB port when the bike is turned off. It won't work. That's what an accessory port does.
@adtubah, I saw that video where a guy shows he has used accessory socket, that’s the obd2 port right in which one of the port/terminal has 12v power supply which works with ignition or is there any other port which he meant in that video as accessory socket ?

Not yet. But the speedo and fuel gauge error is still there after service

And also the handle bar risers will change riding position but it's not guaranteed to make it better, it can also get worse. Change it only if you find the stock one is too far. I found the stock one comfortable, did a ride to Mysore with no shoulder pain
I’m not comfortable with the current setup. Will be installing to see how it goes. There’s always an option to go back to usual setup
Installed today. For me it changes the dynamics a lot. All of a sudden, weight on my wrist is reduced and the sitting is more upright
Head light grill and master cylinder guard is not necessary, and the radiator guard that comes from factory is more than sufficient. Please don't put any bulky ctash guards they make the bike look ugly. The stock one gives enough protection and you have insurance to cover damages.

Anyone can switch on the lights if they are directly connected to battery. Without keys and without ignition being on. That’s the reason

I still did not receive registration number, when I asked the team they told rto raid is the reason I am not getting to know what is happening as there is no reply from their end
I wanted to know that i got insurance policy of my bike today after that how many days they take to deliver the bike and will they give new helmet as per govt rule
They will take a week more to generate Vaahan OTP and 2-3 days for regn number generation. 10-12 days from today till delivery. But frequent follow ups will be needed even for this. No helmets given. Not even Keychains

Hi, how long would it take for the delivery after OTP has been generated?
Mine took 4 days. I had to bug them everyday on calls. Regn number was generated on the same day as OTP. Timelines these days are more delayed as far as Keerthi is concerned.

My booking amount was 2k. Paid 2.93L as full payment later. Without the introductory offer, total cost would be 3.05L
It was discounted in the ex showroom price. Not on the on road price. Not sure if this is what you want to check.

Tell me about it. I completed the entire payment with Bank disbursement on September 10. Insurance message came on Sept 21. And unfortunately no response from those guys. In fact they spoke rudely saying that RTO servers are down and we can't do anything so you will have to wait and you have no other option. Plus all I asked from them was for an update, and they never answer the call and when I call the reception and speak to them, all they say is that I am with a customer so we will get back to you and cut the call, and they never get back. The expected delivery date is moved to October 10th (Today is Oct 3). Highly doubt I will get it by then either.
Vaahan OTP generation should be done within 5 days of generating insurance. I am getting to know that the timelines are prolonged now due to more people making full payments to get the 10k benefit. Keerthi staff does not have experience in handling mass numbers of bookings. There were back to back holidays till yesterday and that might also have contributed. Keerthi guys usually make a set of files to be going in on Vaahan portal for a particular day. And there is no first come first serve there. One needs to physically visit to have some pressure added onto them. From OTP generation till delivery should take a weeks time
My suggestion is not to go to Keerthi. I think they are tuned like that. Zero customer service. You will never recieve any calls or updates. But usually after full payment, you should receive the vehicle in 15 working days 2:53
The delays are more prolonged now. Keerthi customers are getting deliveries within a month now
I'm not an engineer, but I'll ask a legitimate question: why wasn't extend the existing mud protector instead of putting this ugly arm that is the holder of that mud protection kit and which appears dangerous if the screws loosen due to vibration? Isn't it simpler to extend the existing one?
If you watch the entire video, I have decided not to have it for the same reason. Safety goes for a toss and it looks ugly as well. Waiting for genuine accessories from Triumph which will have a splash guard

It's same in most showrooms. I am waiting past 12days after full payment on Khivraj. No receipt got yet. They told me delivery on next monday now. I'm having doubts as no insurance rto updates done yet.

I canceled my traveling to home town from Bangalore just because i may grt it this Monday. Now they are telling to wait this week end. It's ok if they are telling expected date of delivery. Here they are just giving false promises.
facing same issue with keerthi triumph. paid on 3rd Sep but still not delivered(today is 28th sept) almost a month now, they just are increasing the delivery timeline every day Everytime I have to call and then they do the process

You can use Triumph official accesory for your rear monoshock to be clean It's called MUD SPLASH PROTECTION KIT and available as a genuine accessory by Triumph for Speed 400

It is very small which is an accessory. Only approx 1 inch bigger than stock. So no use to buy that.
I have installed it and used it in the rain for the last 2 weeks I feel it's useless. Mud gets all over monoshock and pillions foot even on the calves

Wanted to remove the saree guard on my bike as well. But is it legal to ride without the saree guard on? Was worried about that.
I guess the manufacturer cannot sell bikes without it being installed. Have never seen cops stopping for this reason. Will do some research and get back on this

You can remove it once your RTO work is done. If the registration is not done yet, then better to wait.
