    I just did the same thing now the gate won’t go back down after putting the fuse back in, starting, reviving and turning off…any suggestions?

      Make sure you put the fuse back in the right spot or that the fuse is still good.

      @NykevOfficial Місяць тому

      @odubbya right away. Didn’t put it I. The water. Is the IBR light on on the dash signaling there’s an issue with the IBR system?

    • @NykevOfficial
      @NykevOfficial Місяць тому

      Retrace your steps. If the Ibr light isn’t on on the dash then it’s not an issue with the fuse. You have to rev the throttle a bit to get the ski to engage into forward mode at which point the bucket will move.

      @NykevOfficial 3 місяці тому

      @@markfitch8617 double check you put the fuse back in the right spot, it’s the bottom right corner. Also verify the fuse is still good. I just did it yesterday and put it in the wrong spot initially, then the IBR light was on and was beeping at me. Once I put it in the right spot it went away and worked right. If it indeed is in the right spot and still not working check trying unplugging the battery for a minute or two. If after that then trace wires for loose connections. After that Id suggest taking it into a shop.

    For anyone doing this job... Take the tire off and free the entire side of the liner and tuck it behind the rotor., it makes it so much easier to stick your head in there and see what you're doing. The small connector on top does not need to be removed either, just do it without disconnecting it. Before sliding the bulb back into place, get the spring clip to wrap around black plastic bit before trying to get it back in place, not enough room to bend the clip around the metal housing! Just did the passenger side which is not shown in the video and only cussed like 4-5 times.

    • @NykevOfficial
      @NykevOfficial Рік тому

      I had a flicker headlight issue as well. Turns out it wasnt my igniter unit itself but was the cable. It would flicker every time I hit a significant bump in the road. Try tapping, wiggling the igniter cable to see if you ran reproduce the issue. I’ve learned to always zip tie/fasten down loose cables. Overtime the vibrations from driving bend the wires until they snap.

    • @NykevOfficial
      @NykevOfficial 9 місяців тому

      Correct, now that I think about it a newer tighter spring wouldn’t make any difference because the spring wasn’t the issue. The issue is that internal arm being too long and not allowing the arm to articulate far enough to reach the window.

    • @NykevOfficial
      @NykevOfficial Рік тому

      Yo, sorry for the late reply. The high beam on the TL isn’t actually a different bulb but the same one. To achieve the high beam there’s a physical flap that rotates out of the way to let the beam shine higher. When you engage the high beams you should be able to hear it. If you can’t hear it then sounds like it might be malfunctioning.

    So I did this a few years ago to match a cargo carrier and rack system together - and I tried to do this again today and realized that while maybe we can get lucky getting all of the correct wafer heights from key to key (rearranging them properly), it isn't a given! I have a set that has too many of one height and not enough to complete the match to the key. So it didn't work! Just be aware that it may happen to you where they don't all match.

    • @NykevOfficial
      @NykevOfficial Рік тому

      Yes that’s true won’t always work, but if it’s too long then my next suggestion is to file the wafer down to the correct height. If it’s too short though then yeah gonna have to either remove it completely or replace it with a different one
