EcoFlow Septic Install - House Addition Project - Episode 12

Well, we were hoping a repair permit would be enough and some modification to the current system. Unfortunately, that did not work out so we are doing a full installation of a new system! Wasn't in the budget but not left with much of a choice and of course we are going for a top of the line eco system. Watch and see. Every system fights against anti microbial hand soaps and laundry detergent t...

Installing a Cable Railing - Easy steps for clean look
Sounds like a lot of money for something that will end up giving you problems in the near future.
Wow. We have come a long way. Good luck with your project!
thanks! this is exactly the tutorial I was looking for!
Wish you luck on that we put one in and it lasted about six years it kept pump coco fibers in to the mound cause the never put in the 18 inches of crush stone just below the coco fibers so it allowed it to pass the coco fibers to the mound and plugged up the pipes in the mound four times we found this out when I got mad and ripped out the eco Flo and I put in a adventk tank
Thank you Sir!!!
This is awesome! I’m putting some in our home under the chair rail. I didn’t like the somewhat rusted look. So I wanted the new dull tin.
Also, does yours have a blower as well?
I honestly don’t remember what size it is but i know I got the largest they had in the slim design. It did not come with a blower but I bought one online and added it.
What size and kind of Heat N Glo did you use? Love the look. Doing a barndo and will copy you it’s looking like. Awesome video
wouldnt recommend old treated wood if it was made before about 2004 since they made be treated with arsenic or even worse. treated wood after that isnt too bad since by law it needs to be treated with a form of copper
UA-cam suck
People take care of the machines we all got to use them
I have a question. I’m by no means a concrete expert here, I understand why you put the foam board under the concrete for insulation purposes. But correct me if I’m wrong won’t the foam under the concrete break down and deteriorate over time? Thanks.
Strangely enough it doesn’t. Not sure if it’s because it’s never exposed to water?
Thanks for the reply, didn’t know if different parts of the country required it.
Glad to see you can add. Brilliant!
Four inch pipe will be more than adequate. So would three. Check the 0.25 multiple you used to find fall in pipe lengths, to my eye the slope is steeper than 1/4 inch in a foot. Good luck.
Why wasnt the foundation waterproofed before the pipe was installed?
The high wall was waterproofed since it has the basement space on the other side. The frost walls for the garage were not waterproofed.
Stupid is as stupid does
Brilliant idea
I run my downspouts directly into the drain tile . Helps keep the footer moist
Ive been told the risk of that is if the pipe gets clogged down line the gutter water will back up into the drain tile
Thanks! I am doing 12 foot boards on my garage, was using props to prop it up and wasn't working very well. Trying this today!
another thing not to do is talk with your mouth full.
Hahaha…true! That’s my habit of chewing sunflower seeds.
I don't know why the algorithm made me watch this but I also wondered if you'll want cleanouts maybe via sanitary tees just before turns after long runs.. Also wondering if the main should b bigger to carry the expected volume of water in a heavy downpour.
Great questions. I figured the upright sections could be used for clean outs by removing the downspout if needed. Also I talked to a gutter guy and he thought with the size roof I have that the 4” would be enough.
The bucket was already ruined when it was used with no teeth.
Looks like the teeth are there, but covered by gravel.
Math is solid. My only thought is that it is a long distance with a lot of turns I would hate to try and have to clean it out to remove a blockage. It will be leaves, sand from roof tiles, etc. that won’t flow too nice with a slow gravity fed system. Couldn’t tell where you are draining too. Just worried you will have to dig up all the nice work 15 years from now.
Great tips. We don’t have any trees near our house and never need to clean our gutters so I’m hoping we’ll be ok. Great things to consider though when planning!
Hi there. Thanks for providing this video. I finally found a video on exactly what I am about to do. My lean to is going to be 40' long by x' long. That X is where you might be able to help. I am in NH so I also get snow like you. I would like to get as much span as I can. You mentioned you are using 2x10x20's. My question is are you seeing any sag? My local Lumber yard is telling me that even if I do a 2x12,x20, I am exceeding span. Also wondering about the span between posts on the outside. I know you mentioned you used LVL's for the beam and I see 4 posts, I am guessing they are pretty close to 16' between each post. You posted this over 2 years ago, so I would really like to hear how it is doing before I build what is virtually the same thing. Thanks again for posting.
What's wrong with your mouth ?
Tobacco
@@mapache_del_sur are you kidding me ?. No way.
@@half-breed well it looks like he is using chewing tobacco like a plug. It used to be more common. If you are into tobacco it’s actually really enjoyable.
@@half-breed they sell it at walmart or wherever but not that many people buy it these days. I don’t know if he is using it but it looks like it.
@@mapache_del_sur it looks like more than a pack of cigarettes if that's true. 🤮
This is amazing sir. You are my hero lol.
I would like to thank you for the “jig” you shared in this video, I’ve been using one ( by myself ) just like yours with great success to install a T& G ceiling on my patio porch.
I believe you said you was going to run them lines the other way
Is this standard corrugated metal from home depot ?
yes it is
Hit em with the illegal stuff.
Nice project. looking forward to watching your build.
Thanks 👍
How do I find a person that can do this for me? Im in So Cal near Disneyland?
I would think any contractor can do it. The most intricate part is altering your floor joists. After that it's just regular tile work.
Great approach. If you have to reuse the stones, it is a practical and gived you time to think and change many times. Thank you for taking the time to show it
Exactly the video I’ve been looking for! Thanks 😊
Glad it was helpful!
How did you drill your hole for the reverse threaded lag screws?
Regular drill bit works for both.
Thank you.
Does this rust? And can this be painted?
It will rust over time since I took the protective layer off but that's what I'm hoping for. If you don;t want it to rust you'll need to leave the shine on.
I knew I’d find something! Thanks dude 👍🏼
Hows it holding up. Rusty yet. Any dents yet
No dents and one small rust spot so far in a valley where the acid I put to remove the shine sat longer
@freedomkongvold. What kind of system did you use to stagger the boards? Looks great!
U did a very good job better then big crappy company useless. Ur design is the best 👍😁 u are the Men of job saver.😊
Very good job easy no heading plus clean simple way .good men 5 ⭐ star u deserve.

Vibrate the concrete in the form to work out all the gaps and settlement next time.
Thank you!
Great video! I have to rip off the brick off of my house. This video has helped greatly!
genius
Fire safe? Heat ?
Hasn't caught fire yet ;)
Ok simple enough. The house wrap , what the thinking behind that. I see some with, some without, and some with drywall behind tongue and groove
I did the house wrap to stop air drafts and to keep bugs out.
thanks for the tip, i revesed myself a quick grip clamp but it doesn't hold the pieces, will add your method to the clamps for nice snug fits Cheers!
