Voyager Overland
Canada
Приєднався 8 кві 2020
Overland travel, scenic vistas and remote camping spots. Capturing adventure by means of Jeeps and the spirit of overlanding. Incredible landscapes, views and camping spots are the usual prize for our efforts.
Our premise is simple, Voyager Overland Introduction Video
Our Overlanding premise is simple, travel with all necessary supplies, explore incredible places, and camp in the back country where few people might visit by day but leave pretty much isolated by night.
We have so much to explore nearby but in fact, nothing close by, and because of this, most of our trips are multi day trips, be it an overnighter for the weekend or multi week summer trips.
In any case we explore the back country and our travels have taken us up and down the Canadian Rockies on the Alberta side and the BC side, we've explored some of the Kootenay, and the Thompson/Okanagan regions and as far south as Utah and Colorado in the US.
Exploring for several years now, we continue exploring deeper every time we go out. We have traveled the more popular and well known destinations and now we are looking closer at the less travelled path.
Please subscribe, turn on the notification bell and hit the like button, we are happy to have you tag along as we continue, and remember, never stop exploring.

Caught on Camera: What Did We Capture in the Alberta Rockies!

On a recent Overlanding trip to Ruby Falls in the Alberta Rockies, we captured some late night video footage that is beyond explanation. I have no idea what it was but it was lurking around our Jeeps during the night, I'm just glad the grandkids did not see this. I don't know if I can ever camp again after seeing this footage, footage that I kept as proof of the unexplained. Please watch the en...

Very cool. Happy to have you as our 51st state. Hope you guys get a new governor. 😜😁
Didn't need the fake "what did we capture" clickbait nonsense, the overlanding footage was entertaining enough.
All Humans need to experiance this either in childhood or Seniors, but this for a week yearly could cure mental Health
What an amazing beautiful country I am so in awe. First of your videos I have seen. I want to know what those coffee press flask things are please.
They are from GSI Outdoors but they are discontinued 😒
Awesome videos by the way.I enjoyed it
We are quite used to that in Haiti: wandering spirits of people who might have accidentally died in the forest, checking upon you. Weapon is useless in such situations. Always travel with a dog and your Bible to recite the psalm 91in your compound. Many may not understand what I am talking about…it’s a spiritual world.
Um that was moving too fast for a person! Wow, unless u had that sped up i mean i see that its person shaped but even if they had all the stuff on required to not be detected by the IR light, who was it the flash? That seemed too fast to be an actual person.
I love your videos! Plus your fun to camp with :) Man, 2025 is looking good for adventure, Keep up the good work!
2025 looks awesome, big plans, big trips!
Love the capturing of the video
Former military and LEO for 23 years. I say that to preface what I'm about to say. This is someone in a IR suit with a off the shelf NVG. If your camera was capable of thermal detection you would have picked him up. The fact that you have someone creeping around your campsite at night with your two grandchildren should give you pause. I hope you are always armed when you are in the back country. This intruder was most likely looking for rifles or any other guns that sometimes people leave out or in their gun rack of their unlocked cars. He was also checking to see if you were at the camp or perhaps had parked your vehicles and left for a night camp near by. Always, always do a full recon of your campsite area out to 2 miles and see what you can find. This guy was most likely watching you for some part of the day. I take a drone with me and do a aerial scout out to ten miles and then I will glass the area for a couple of hours to check my surroundings. I always tell people it's not the bears or wolves or Bigfoot that you need to worry about, its the humans. There are plenty of cases of people meeting their demise in the back country at the hands of criminal gangs and lone killers. Keep your head on a swivel and always assume you are not alone.
Excellent advice. Thanks for sharing it. I don't have your knowledge & experience but I definitely agree with all you said. That dude was definitely up to no good, and I would never take kids up there, for overnight camping, without a gun (or two) for protection. I love your recommendation about using drones for scouting out the surrounding area. That mountain area is so remote that it would appeal to those running from the Law, for whatever reason(s).
IR treated material does not make you translucent. It just doesn’t reflect IR shine that cheap camo from China will do.. I have both thermal and military grade Nightvision and this is not at all what you are describing.
@kenponinja1877 I never said anything about IR reflective material making you translucent. I dont believe that accurately describes what I am seeing in the video. I see it as a camera not fully equipped to handle the focal point of an obscured person at night wearing IR reflective material. I'm using simple terms here to make sure everyone has an understanding of what I am talking about.
Ive had once sleep paralysis. I felt a strong pressure at my chest but I couldn’t move. In a snap of a finger i woke up but just to realize I could see me and my gf in that time sleeping on my bed. It seemed my soul got out of my body. What really shocked me is that on top of me there was this weird shadow, when this entity realized i went out of mh body came running to me and start to scream and say stuff in a weird language. Had the very same eyes of whatever you recorded in your video. Later on I googled and realized so many people have experience the same and have seen these shadows. They seem to be energetic parasites.
I would say it was a ghost but it almost looked like a AI generated overlay image to be perfectly honest.
I loved your video but the spooky footage is scary looks like they would disappear and reappear. Be safe.
For sure some humans walking around your ⛺️ . Next time set an alarm around your perimeter for safety. Imagine they decide to attack you while you’re are sleeping … not good at all😮
C'est dingue ! Il me semble qu'ils sont deux ou trois personnes. Est-ce pour faire peur aux voyageurs ? Pour les empêcher de rester à cette endroit. 🇲🇫✌️❤️
Same as a lot of others on here, I came here for the encounter but stayed for the whole trip! Absolutely stunning scenery!👍
It amazes me how so many people commented on the beauty of the place and so little on the freaky situation that happened which seemed like probably the military (black ops) and have something to do with all those people coming up missing and all that bizarre stuff! Wake up people -there's shit in the game!
Ok, this isn’t an IR or thermal "absorbing" ghilli suit. I use military equipment for a living. I’ve spent time in combat on multiple continents. I’ve spent thousands of hours under gen3+ high FOM night vision GPNVG-18’s with integrated thermal. Having said that, I can’t speak to the camera doing something that would cause this effect. What I can without reservation tell you is it isn’t a "military camouflage system" of any type I’ve ever seen and if this existed I more than likely would have seen or used it. If the subjects were using IR illuminators it would look like a very bright flashlight to the camera. The subjects IR does not flood the camera or vise versa. The trail cam isn’t using thermal so it’s kinda irrelevant how it would present in this scenario. There is absolutely IR and thermal camouflage but this isn’t what it looks like under night vision. It most certainly doesn’t make you transparent. Most modern night vision setups have a single IR emitter and it’s not centered in the objective tube. The only light bleed you see when looking at someone using night vision is at the users eyes and generally not visible from the front. It is however visible from the sides. This can be significantly reduced with filters but not eliminated. In short this isn’t military tech you’re seeing. It’s more than likely a camera issue.
Did you guys get a bump in subscriptions after you posted the one with the creepy looking ghost-bigfoot, or whatever it was??? I've seen that on several paranormal/bigfoot shows in just the last week or so???
There seems to be a lot of interest in that subject, not something I expected to see... 🤷♂️
@@VoyagerOverland There is just so much new evidence of cryptids nowadays, especially Bigfoot, that it gains more and more traction with everyday folks. But you'd be surprised how many videos are blurry. And since everyone carries a decent camera in their pocket you wouldn't think that'd be the case. I've never seen footage like you captured though...stunning stuff!!!
Geez i hope ya"ll have firearns on you being out in Alberta forest
The sweetest little waterfall
Pretty short for a Sasquatch. Little foot.....
Any chance i could get that route u took ...my gosh thats beautiful , im moving to calgary in the summer of 25 ....would love to take my bronco though that route. Outstanding video, love ur work 👏
Hey I just watched your video that you posted last month of that creepy encounter with the interesting individual wearing some kind of infrared cloaking camo suit I just want to give you a heads up that you should probably take some measures to aquire something you can protect you and your family with in a bad situation after seeing that I wouldn’t want to go in the bush without a bow or rifle.
I can't say that we have ever felt un-safe in the bush...
You are so lucky . That is such beautiful country .
First of all Koodo's for the wondrous showing of the beautiful counrty we have and breathtaking views. I'm really glad you took your grandkids to give them the experince of outdoors, like my parents gave me, and thanks for putting out the fire that some retard didn't put out, there's no excuse for that! As for your night cam experience as one viewer said it was some idiot scoping out your campground and my advise to you is get a wire trip alarm around your campsite which will scare them more and maybe they think better then trying shit out when people are camping. Some people are just plain dumb and think that they can scare or destroy things when they go out in the back country, which is why we need more game wardens out in the back country to enforce laws. Thanks again
Skinwalker...
What was it?
Now THAT was freaky.
Almost ghostly. Did ypu find out what it was?
LOL , good one
Your guys are grandparents
You made it look easy. Thanks.
Glad you found it useful!
Imho, that was one of the bikers you passed earlier in the day. Nothing unusual.
Lovely, more fuzzy undefined video of something...maybe..likely photo shop...ho hum.
Jesus is Real. And he is coming soon.
If it was only 3 ° wouldn't you be cold with that Itty bitty coat? As matter of fact I definitely wouldn't be outside
That took me aback, too.
Just happened upon this channel. Such lovely, and peaceful surroundings. Even the gentle rocking of the vehicle as it navigates up the riverbed is soothing. That footage was so creepy. Kind of got my hackles up. I'm glad that you were able to enjoy your time though, and that you are safe!
Great video! But you really didn't need to put the click bait fake stuff in there. You don't seem like the kind of person who would lie about something weird, that's why I watched it, I'm a little disappointed.
It was the ghost of Big Foot.
Looked like a person wearing a hooded jacket looking around your vehicle and camp.
It's now wonder people just disappear in Canada, alaska when you got freaks like that prowling around 🤔 😮
What is puzzling is how would that person or thing no to where one of them suits 🤔, I can understand wearing night goggles so you can see in the dark but people can't see you in the dark but wearing one of those suits as well is scary as hell 🤔 😮
Wow!
omg i now get what you meant with "can un-see it"...man that is spooky, like to never go back there ever in your life...
Well... I don't think I'd be camping at that last spot you went to again if I were you'all
@nukestop5
They must have stopped over and over hundreds of times over many hours to get some of those camera angles and shots . The amount of interesting content is disappointing
It looks like a young Sasquatch in a cloaking spectrum checking out the jeeps. Or someone with high tech military cloaking abilities. I think Kevin Horne below hit it on the head all the way around.
No wayyyyy man! I was JUST in this area filming a Bigfoot documentary and I stayed at the EXACT same site you stayed at your first night. I can’t believe it! I chose that site in the most random way, and then happened to click this video. You were there just a few weeks after me. I even walked those atv trails alone at night. Thank goodness this is a “fictional” ghost story. I think I would’ve lost it if I saw something terrifying in the exact site I stayed in.
