Everyone around me is beginning to develop the Stoke equivalent of the infantries 1000 yard stare watching these performances week in week out. I've been watching us since the 60s and yesterday was poor, really really poor and totally lifeless. I hope Mr Coates stays with us because despite what the moaners would have you believe we owe a massive debt to the Coates family, without them there might well be no Stoke City at all and we should not forget that.

Really great vlog on the match as always, Stoke City is an incredible club but the football at the moment is not a reflection of what it is to be a proud potter. I’m not saying Pelach is the right man for the job but Coates and now Walters are hiding behind their own egos and dodging responsibility for the downfall of this club. Something’s got to change, the club has been on the slow rot since we came down due to bad decisions, recruitment and no unity within the club. There’s no identity, togetherness and fight which this club once had, the fans negative attitude doesn’t help either because the players can feel that swirling round the stadium but you can’t blame them for what we are seeing season after next. The right thing needs to be done or we will be in league 1 next season playing Vale. If we don’t have a good transfer window and this doesn’t pick up, I’ll seriously consider keeping my wallet in tact and not getting a season ticket next season.

It's not so much the players that R inconsistent,but the board itself this has been going on 4 decades since the unfortunate relegation in 77, since then it's been success for a few years and down they go,it wouldn't be so bad if they did a crystal palace and still remain in top flight even when things not going their way,SACK the BOARD.

Mid table mediocrity is more than were getting at the moment Sam! Relegation scrap each year is not good enough for a club like stoke with the financial pulling power we have 😅

Yeah I are right there ever time I go watch them at home they Alway s past same players and also not going forward with a ball .. all the stoke fan are fed up this game u right there that people pay there tickets to watch the game . Wast the money on them that's they thought we have a chance a win a game . But the football squad is going a terrible wrong this game I am getting bit annoyed this game and also frustration this game they need do something about it .

I now regularly watch your videos, even when the Sky Blues are no where to be seen. Keep up the good work. I am convinced your future is in the football media.

Great job fella. Only thing I would question is the apparent bad rep of Burnley fans. They had a bad rep as hooligans, but not for backing the team at home or away unless you mean that there's been some discontent, but that's down to the transfer windows. End of the day Burnley basically fill Turf every match and take massive numbers away considering the size of the town and often make a lot of noise. Good luck to Stoke. You've been treading water for many years and just seem to make up the numbers which is unfortunate for a club your size with a solid history. I'm sure you will be back on the front foot sometime soon, but a lot of change is needed.

Great video post Sam, excellent analysis apart from the poor Burnley support we usually very vocal as your video shows. I would also keep the camera on the game when you’re talking as otherwise we get to hear you but look up your nose!! Your comments and analysis is very professional

I remember the days, probably 98 - 99 - 2000 when we were competing in league one, Burnley were absolute shite but we would take 3500 - 4000+ to The Brittania amazing atmosphere. Absoulute great day out with Dave Burnley arranging all sorts of fun in the pub at Madeley before the match, great memories. 2000? terrible away support these days.

Did he say Burnley have a reputation for being poor home fans lol... We can be accused of a lot of things but that's a first... We're the best supported club per capita by a country mile, which other clubs with a tiny 70k population or similar like Burnley has close to 20k at home every week and takes 2k and 3k away from home regularly?
