@@sunscapeband Nope I've been watching for ages. Jstn was clearly better then GG in that season we had covid where nrg won the American finals vs ssg. Several others on other teams were as good as GG. He's stayed at the same level now and others have come into the scene who are much better so yeh he's washed now

I'm not sure why bates is clinging onto garrett anyways, even if you don't want nass, there's still 20 players who would fit that nrg duo far better than garrett. I'm certain bates knows this as well so idk where this garrett obsession came from.

Garrett has the experience to keep the younger players in check. And knows how to complement anyone. Nass is a young talent but having three young talents on the same team won't always transfer to lan success

NRG is still one of the most popular orgs in NA despite having 2 horrible seasons. Unless Garrett plays absolutely horriblly, it's a reasonable compromise from an Org's perspective.

I haven’t gotten to this part of the video yet, but I also think people are glazing this new VIT roster too much. G2 made every RLCS grand final this past season, on paper, that’s an incredible feat as a team. It’s literally never been done before, yet people disclaim it because it was an NA roster that did it. Now, BDS STRUGGLED in split 1 and 2. Now, they did win EWC and Worlds so you’ve got to give them their flowers. Vitality made what, top 4, top 8, then 9-11 at worlds? And people can’t say Zen wasn’t part of the problem. He made plenty of mistakes himself…but he was trying to hard carry at times. Now, if you just completely forget 21-22 season and 22-23 season…on paper, G2 is right there with VIT now. You just need to forget that team is all world champions. I’m not saying Tbates is delusional, because in his world with recency bias, it is close. But when you take the entire history of their careers into stand point…VIT is clearly better on paper. I do think G2 and VIT will be closer than people expect though. People always freak out and give all the props to EU, but NA is coming back from their abysmal 22-23 season. G2 is the starting point. FK and LJ’s team is the next NA team who should compete with the best of EU. If NA continues this progression then we might actually have a good season ahead of us.

Calling Daniel a prodigy going into 2025 is crazy, it has been almost 3 yrs. EU players who have been in the league for 3 years like Vatira and Atow aren’t considered prodigies anymore.

Yeah people glazed zen alittle too much last year imo . Yes he was the best player but he made a ton of mistakes just like everyonE else on that squad . I think this team will be good but I won’t be surprise if KC or that alpha and itachi team get the better of them a few times

@@KYHProd Correct, like I'm considering VIT and KC or KC and the Itachi team, or Itachi team with VIT being consistent top 4s. But you still have Falcons, G2, FK/LJ's team, and Furia still in that mix as well. Lots of great teams being formed again. The competition might, dare I say it, be more intense next year than even this year.
