@@rebelresource I was playing yellow boba at my last store showdown and got beat by 2 yellow sabines in a row. I lost both times the turn before I could develop lethal. I must just suck lol.

Obviously, you need to build around Raid but isnso fucking broken. Is at the level of For A Cause for be doing something around that specific card and for Boba Blue is mandatory and is the Best version of Hard Control thanks to the possibility to search your Avengers. With Green decks should be very good with cards like Reinforcement Walker for Green Boba (Villany).

Well, I’m not the end all be all. But yes, they will be meta haha, boba manipulating resources is just so… fundamentally good. Sabine is doing what aggro wants to do with built in burn. Han Solo seems to be really, really, annoying. I’ll be testing him next.

@@tesla6938 absolutely. Testing right now is still really important. For example, green boba was solidified as one of the best decks with only half to 2/3 of set 1 revealed. It just helps you understand the interaction with new cards and leaders. For example, the heroism boba has A TON of cards from set 1 and 2 that make it very easy to test a powerful list.

Thank you! I have a gimble from Best Buy. It’s a DJI. It was like $100. I can use it to position it perfectly to record the match. It comes with a tripod. I use my iPhone to record because the camera is so good on them now.

@@MrBefaro yes that is true. The problem is the card is contingent on you having more than 1 unit out. Surprise strike and heroic sacrifice have less “conditions” that need to be met to push damage through.

Control

I feel like the main deck is solid. I feel like it has not failed me yet. I wanted to take the 1 copy of Pathfinder out... but two copies of R2D2 is a little odd sometimes when you draw multiple. Sideboard - Keep 2 Black One. Honestly, I am not really sure what to do with the sideboard since the % of events etc. feel so perfect right now. I am torn.

I have really considered 1x sideboard of "Rebel Assault" for the mirror.

You didn’t catch it on the commentary but it looks like what happened was: you missed paying for MF>you attempt to play R3 for 3>you realize that you missed the MF tax>you pay the tax>you play R3 via Sneak Attack for 2. I had to watch it a few times to follow. Thanks for the footage!

When I played yellow Sabine I realised I like to keep all Falcons. One game I kept 3 through the course of the game and my last turn was hit with everything on board including one Falcon. Then I just played 2nd Falcon attack, 3rd Falcon and finished the game.

@@poisonIveySWU ahh gotcha! I think what I mentioned in the video is i verbally said falcon stays in play but never tapped the resource until my first action

Congrats! Agreed. I do think this deck has a way higher skill cap than green Sabine though. It could be possible that lack of consistency is misplaced for resourcing mistakes or lack of reps with the deck. There are a lot of resourcing lines that will cause you to lose. IE resourcing a unit and then getting event flooded.

It sucks that getting a bad mulligan caused you to lose. I will say that’s true of every deck though. This deck does have what, like 3 less turn 1 units?

@@rebelresource It was more of a unit quality issue for me. With green I'm used to either opening with a Battlefield Marine, or A-Wing, taking Sabine unit or X-wing if necessary. In yellow Not having the Battlefield Marine pushes X-wing and Sabine up as necessary, but their stat lines kinda hurt if you don't get the turn 1 initiative. That said, if you opponent doesn't decide to play the control game against you, your turn 2-5 turns can be a lot more explosive than green.

Basically, I felt that if I couldn't lane dodge, and my opponent swung into my t1 play, it kneecapped me because the 2/3 or 2/2 stat line wouldn't punish my opponent for the exchange. They were fine vs a lot of the villain decks, but I ended up having to bring in both Wolfe and Lothal Insurgent (i dropped 1 Black One from the side for a second Lothal) against any hero green I saw just to have some better turn 1 plays that would punish them for trying to control my board.

Ahh Ok - Are you talking about the spreadsheet? That wasn't made by me. You played very well - I believe you drew super poorly? No space units? Luke Green is my most feared matchup to be honest.

I didn't have the pleasure of playing you unfortunately, but you did beat my buddy in the semis. I did draw very poorly (two games where i did nothing turn 1) in my win and in in round 7 against my worst matchup of palpatine. Luke Green is super fun to play though!@@rebelresource

Sadly, the deck really focal point is Falcon. It's like playing Green Sabine without Steadfast. It would really make the deck worse overall.

Main deck maybe does not feel right - a lot of decks Bamboozle is just a dead card. I do see how it is good against any leader though - great points.

Medal Ceremony? I never liked the card.

@@rebelresource This is a hot take and I absolutely love it. Every time I have a Medal Ceremony in my hand I would rather claim initiative than use it. Also, what is your reasoning for not including Greedo? Obviously it's less heroic for For a Cause, but I like the idea of being able to go wide against hard control. @@TheWordOfBird Used to play greedo. He just dies to everything. He is an easy target to dump 1 damage from OB. Vader ping, palp ping, death trooper etc non heroism and non rebel just makes him worse

@@TheWordOfBird medal is good in the green list - not in this one. You want initiative with this deck since surprise strike is so explosive

Yeah Childsen and Vigilance are awfull. Especially in a double blue Iden. Bamboozle seems like a great answer but you don't have a lot of options to draw after that.

This list really destroys hard control. I honestly love running into that matchup. Green Boba is all about them drawing more than 1 Overwhelming Barrage.
